No more "View" means no more talking about celebrity scandals, and Rosie O'Donnell couldn't be happier. Writing in her blog this weekend, Rosie expressed relief at not having to cover Lindsay Lohan's weekend DUI arrest around coffee and danish with her fellow "View" cohosts:

O'Donnell then goes on to reassure fans that she'll be back, somehow, some way, and this time, it'll be without Hasselbeck, Behar or Babwa!

Cannes: Big Directors Biggest Losers

A Romanian film called "4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days" beat out a bunch of seasoned vets yesterday to win the coveted Palme d'Or award at the Cannes Film Festival. The cheery film, about 1980s communist Romania, beat out star directors Quentin Tarantino, Gus Van Sant, Wong Kar Wai and the Coen Brothers. C'est la vie! The French filmfest did award a special 60th Anniversary Prize to "My Own Private Idaho" director Gus Van Sant -- for his new film "Paranoid Park."

Oprah correspondent Lisa Ling married her dreamy doctor fiancé Paul Song this past weekend in Los Angeles reports People. Singer and Missy Elliot protégé Ciara will star in the film adaptation of the off-Broadway play "Mama, I Want to Sing." Proceeds from the film will benefit a non-profit education program that works to preserve the gospel arts.

16. Let's see if I get this right? She is glad that she doesn't have to talk about it but yet makes an unsolicited comment about it?!?!?!?!. Sounds like she wants to talk about it because she is!!! She is a hypocritical drama whore!!!!!!!! No class but yet because of the attention she gets, she gets paid. If we all ignore her, she will have to go away!!!! She won't get paid to be a moron. I am not much of a fan of Trump either, people stopped paying attention and his show got cancelled. It works.

18. You translated the blog entry incorrectly. Rosie was saying "QUESTIONS will be back soon" referring to the fact that she turned off the Comments/Ask a Question feature on her blog for a bit, but that when she turned the feature back on, she didn't want any more questions about The View because she was ready to move on.

Sheesh. Your reading comprehension needs work, TMZ.

19. Thank God that big mouth angry Rosie is gone. Know I can go back to watching the view which I enjoyed before she came. Know one wants to listen to a know it all thinking no one else has an opion let along wanting them to express it.

Don't see how they mis-translated. They quoted her and said that she would be back soon, somehow someway. They didn't interpret how she would be back. maybe you need the reading comprehension.

TMZ you still have to spin...what Rosie meant was that she had turned off the question button on her blog site but would turn it back on soon and people could ask questions again,also she meant she would like to end the questions or statements about the view that were being asked and to ask other questions..You got it wrong again spin...spin...spin...

24. Common response from people who don't like the point of view of others. It is obvious that everyone, EVERYONE, spins things. We all have a point of view and our own perspective which taints our dialogue. People who like Rosie, will spin things their way. The right people will see that she is a drama whore and a hypocrit.

Don't get me wrong, she isn't any more of a hypocrit than anyone else. But her judgement of others makes her a "holier than thou" pig!!!!!!

At least, I know that my perspective affects my opinion and I know that I am not the person that I strive to be, and admit it. She thinks that she can sit in judgement without looking at her own sins.

If we all worked on our own problems and quit trying to fix others or just sit around pointing out others shortcomings, this world would be much a nicer place to live.

27. EH can be for any president or cause she chooses... and she can express any opinion she chooses, certainly without Rosie's fatmouthed approval AND YOURS!!! What's it to you? Oh yeah... you're right. I didn't have to watch THE VIEW featuring ugly Rosie, and I certainly made sure to miss every episode. Thanks for the reminder.

28. IT DOESN'T TAKE A GENIUS TO REALIZE THAT RO IS BEYOND IGNORANT. LET'S NOT GO INTO ALL THE DUMB THINGS SHE HAS SAID ON THE VIEW. LET'S JUST LOOK AT THE WAY SHE WRITES. SHE WRITES LIKE A FIRST GRADER.

NO WONDER SHE NEEDED HER OWN WRITER ON THE VIEW. SHE ISN'T BRIGHT ENOUGH TO COME UP WITH HER OWN THOUGHTS. THE POOR THING HAS TROUBLE PUTTING TWO WORDS TOGETHER.
