Lindsay in Lockdown, Movie Role on Hold

A source connected to Lindsay Lohan's next movie says the actress' rehab will not get in the way of her performance, but TMZ knows differently.

The production source told TMZ that arrangements had been made to shuttle Lohan back and forth from Promises in Malibu while Lindsay shoots the new Shirley MacLaine movie, "Poor Things," right down the road in Santa Monica. Lohan was scheduled to be on the set next week.

A well-connected source tells TMZ that this "absolutely is not going to happen." The first time she'll be available to work on the film will be when she's an outpatient -- probably a month from now. And, we're told, Lilo's focus is on getting better, not on the movie -- Shirley MacLaine or no Shirley MacLaine.

LiLo's mother is a disgrace, her behavior is a joke, she should be thrown in jail for child endangerment, and that's what Lilo is, a child, left to fend for herself with a bunch of enablers an dysfucntional people saying that they care about her, if something bad happens to this girl, there will be plenty of blame to go around. This goes out to Lindsays parents, "Pull your heads out of your Ass, and wake up". These 2 idiots are nothing more than self serving opportunists, what a shame.

18. Oh my gosh!! I am soooo sick of hearing about LiLo!! She really needs to take a few steps back and get her life together. Her reputation is already shot....correction, was already shot, so why not take this time to work on yourself. From my experiences working at large entertainment studios, I say they blackball her from ALL studios. Why would you want a drunk, drug addict underage "actress" working for you and taking up your studio's time and money. There are MANY talented young actresses out there who actually have talent and don't come with the ego.

PLEASE, DO NOT ALLOW LINDSEY TO LEAVE THE REHAB FACILITY TO GO TO THE STUDIOS TO MAKE THE MOVIE. THAT IS NOT IN HER BEST INTEREST!!! SHE NEEDS TO HEAL AND RECEIVE TREATMENT. THE STUDIO CAN WAIT OR HIRE SOMEBODY ELSE. SHE MUST STAY THE COURSE, COMPLETE REHAB (INPATIENT), THEN CONTINUE WITH OUT-PATIENT TREATMENT. IF SHE DOES NOT FOLLOW THE LAW, PUT HER IN JAIL TOGETHER WITH PARIS, FOR A LOT LONGER SENTENCE. YOU WILL BE SAVING HER LIFE!!!!

25. Hey, I will gladly step in and take her role, I look like her when I get too thin... but no joke, she needs to get the help she needs. I have never had a drug problem, but I have seen how hard it can be. Getting sober is just something she needs to do for herself.

27. With me wanting to act all my life, it hurts to see somebody throwing it away like this. She needs to take care of herself and do her job. I will gladly step in and do this film, and even start filming on thursday if you would like :) but i do hope she pulls herself together.
