31. I, too, took the time to express a non-offensive opinion on this blog at 736pm. It appeared briefly. Evidently I didn't say what the LINDSEY.BRITNEY-PARIS fan club censors liked.

Forget it. I won't waste my time again. Has this happened to others? I'm sure.

Why seek opinions if you don't want them? I am offended. You wasted my time!

33. If I were producing the movie, I would DEMAND drug & alcohol testing on her. She has already proven time & time again that her partying is more important then being professional in her conduct when filming. Also it's a liability! They'd be saving themselves money in the long run. Asking for testing is nothing new...MacKenzie Phillips did it back in the early 80s when she was on "One Day at a Time".

For Lindsay, I'd say no pass...no work. It's only fair to the others working on any movie production. And if you can't be on time, don't freakin' bother! If she makes the cast & crew wait for her (cause she was out partying til God knows when), she can damn well wait for her paycheck. Better yet, she should be fined for being late. She's tying up production & costing everyone time & money. She is one rude, inconsiderate & highly unprofessional little bitch. She should learn from real actors/actresses on how to conduct herself!!!

34. Interesting article in LA Times 5/29 about her troubles and career. This upcoming 21st birthday was is turning into a superbowl-like function- 500 guests flying in, $1mil from the club to host her party, $1 mil from Svedka Vodka, companies vying to pay for after party brunches, hosting receptions. Looks like a near $10 mil in the offing. Plus all the recent modeling she did for Jil Saunders, Dior. Plus a movie in release, one just completed, and one upcoming with Shirley MacLaine. An awful lot on her shoulders. If she was part of the Hilton clan, with two parents in support and boatloads of money for handlers and organizers, I think it could come off well. However, LL has no support. Her mother seems to be dazed and trying to figure out how to recoup the money she is going to lose. Her father, well, he is pretty obvious and useless. Without anyone to really protect her, she is at the mercy of the economics of her own marketing. Who is going to buy anything related to that slovenly mess passed out in the car with the grey hoodie and white tennies? Not exactly high fashion, not exactly an icon for marketers to line up behind. This 21st birthday bash is just plain dangerous for her. Her stupid sycophant mother girlfriend-wanna be should have helped keep it under control. But it's out of her control now. LL is just an advertising icon. Drink baby drink- we want to see her clad in Dior , with a Jill Sanders purse, drinking Svedka in an overpriced Vegas club, standing on tables and being outrageous. Health? Hey -that;s yor problem, not ours. I go back to positive influences and role models.

And think about it- Britney can shave her head and her entire body in public and not get the promotional and modeling contracts being handed to LL.

If she wants to waste her life away, there are plenty of coke 'deads' ready to satisfy her every wish. She needn't have to pay her 'friends' to enable her. There is lots of 'free' labor out there.....a real role model, this one is. Trash begets trash.

38. The mother is in denial. She wants to keep her lifestyle the same & refuses to help her daughter. Denial is what is going to kill Lindsay. She needed to go to rehab on her own. Not because she smashed her car and photographed smashed 2 days later. Money and no boundaries have destroyed talent that could have made her a Julia Roberts, Reese Witherspoon, or Demi Moore in the next few years. I pray for her well-being but I don't think this is the end of her saga. Drama Drama Drama.... Until she is sick and tired of being sick and tired and out of money!!!!

39. The legal system has to step in and save this young woman's life. She will have no LIFE to have a CAREER with if she does not take care of her self and give herself much needed TIME for HEALING....The WOUNDS OF THE SOUL are so much more painful and lethal and make the victim turn to ANYTHING, be in drugs, work, sex, anything to get some relief and respite from it. There are no easy or fast fixes..The road to recovery is a LONG and ongoing one....someone who does not depend on her for a living must step in to save her life.....

42. I think LIndsay is 21 now, and she has to take responsibility for her welfare and she should avoid persons, places and things that will send her back to where she left off. It's an inside job. The alcohol and drugs are just symbols of what is going on with rehab folks. Hey non-addicts have problems, too. It.s an inside job.

44. I hope this kid can pull herself out of the bottomless pit she is headed to. It's really not her fault. This kind of fame and money at a tender age without the parental control and balance that normal parents can provide, can send any young person to spiral out of control. My heart goes out to her for i believe that her behavior is just a plaintive cry for help. Be kind to her in your remarks people. She is just a lost kid.

45. Initially my thought was this is a very bad idea - too soon, too much to expect anyone in recovery to do. But in all honesty, the average, non-celebrity addict in recovery doesn't have the luxury of putting off work till "they can handle it". Not unless they have a lot of money to fall back on or family/friends willing to support them in the meantime. Which means the fact is, they go back to work...with the shakes, with the headaches, nausea and anxiety, while attending their mtgs ("90 mtgs in 90 days", preferably more mtgs per day), gets a sponsor and works as hard as they can. And many of them are still able to work and stay sober.

Granted this is Lindsay Lohan, a celebrity with enough money who can easily afford to take time off work and just focus on her recovery. But one of the things many of us, myself included, complain about is that celebrities often expect preferential treatment. I could be completely wrong on this, but assuming she's actually interested in becoming clean and sober and has people around her who won't enable her, I think she should go back to work --- assuming the producers/director still want her to because I think it's a dose of reality that might help her. In other words, she would have to see that no matter what one's issues are, life still goes on, there are still things that need to be done. And for some addicts, having the structure of work - no matter what it is, helps make them focus and get out of their self-centeredness. Btw, what I'm talking about would not be the same scenario as "Georgia Rule" where she had downtime to do whatever she wanted (partying and using). While she's working and when she's not, she's supervised by someone responsible....like a kid, because she's not stable enough to be trusted to be adult till she acts like one. Either that, or they keep her under 24/7 supervision anyway in a rehab for at least 3 mths - or her court date, which ever comes first.

On the other hand, if I were one of the producers or the director, I wouldn't be so optimistic. To me she would be a liability at this pt. - someone who might be fine or could scr*w things up again during filming or simply not do as well as an actress as she would otherwise. They should be thinking that over carefully before filming starts.

And if this were Paris Hilton, I wouldn't mention having her work during recovery. 1st off, because "work" isn't even part of her vocabulary and never will be. Secondly, because I think she would get-off on the attention while on the set and from the paparazzi.

I think Lindsay Lohan can clean her act up, jail time included, and I hope she does.
