47. Hollywood needs to start holding these people responsible for their actions. If it was you or me we would most likely be in jail and not rehab. Hollywood needs to set some ground rules. If these actors are under age, drinking and doing drugs then their careers should be over. Also, why aren't the establishments that are serving alcohol to these minors getting their liquor license taken away? Shouldn't the police be looking into that??

49. Why have they not heard about work therapy?

A lot of facilities offer work therapy for patients. All it takes is for the crew and co-actors at the film site to stay away from alcohol and drugs themselves.

But properly that is the real issue - that drugs are easy to get all over the industry.

52. On one hand, I really used to feel sorry for her. We've all seen the interviews with her "Mom"....and her Dad had issues too. But, I'm at the point of "enough already".....why isn't her Mom at that point. The "kids will be kids" defense just ain't cutting it in this situation. I will not see another movie she's in.....granted she's a millionaire and the loss of my $7 isn't going to hurt much......but, maybe it will stop people from hiring her. She needs to realize life isn't all about 'hollywood' and if she doesn't work for a while, she just might. I have nieces her age and I guarantee, you would be reading about me slapping the begeezuz out of them in the Enquirer if they acted like she has been......so, why aren't we reading about Mom, Aunt, Uncle.

Someone with no money would be in jail. They can detox in there as well. Celebrities get away with to much but the old saying is money talks *****walks. Rehab hasn't helped her yet just got her a time out. Paris can talk to her when she gets out. 56. Lindsay Lohan, UNDERAGE DRINKING!!!! When is the media going to address the issue of underage drinking in Hollywood and all of the nightclubs that are serving alcohol to minors? The clubs are supposed to be shut down for serving minors. Why aren't the police in California and other states enforcing the law? Also, you get a DUI in most states, you GO TO JAIL! immediately. PLEASE, someone tell my why the law officers are NOT enforcing the underage drinking laws when it comes to celebrities? I don't feel sorry for Ms. Lohan nor Ms. Hilton, nor any other celebrity who thinks they are above the law and can do whatever they please whenever they please. PLEASE ALSO stop covering these idiots on the news. Most of us intelligent humans are sick and tired of seeing their faces splattered all over the television and magazines!

59. How could any reasonably minded person even fathom casting her for any role, I mean seriously? It cannot be as though she is such a big box office draw. I seriously don't get it. I personally boycott all of her movies, and I know many many others who do the same thing, so in a way, it’s almost counter productive to cast her. Yet they do, and they do often, its madness!

News flash for those people considering hiring her for acting roles, she sucks!
She is NOT a good actress, so why then does she keep landing these roles?
I can tell you why, because the people doing the casting are banking on her late night notoriety to be the draw for fans to her movies. What these casting agents don't understand is that just because a million people want to see the latest stupid thing she’s done, doesn’t mean that we are somehow stupefied by her lack of acting skills.

I find it hard to believe that in the entirety of the whole country, there aren’t any better women for the roles that Lindsey lands. Can we please get real here, for just a fraction of a second, and try to comprehend that there aren’t any better actresses in the whole country to get these roles? I'm sorry, but I have to call BS on that one.

Please, for the love of ice-cream, please, stop casting her, stop casting her for any roles!

60. This whole story breaks my heart. I understand when young people make mistakes and suffer a hard road. I actually understand why some people turn to booze and drugs to ease their pain...

But, I don't understand a young person with financial means taking such risks! I don't go party and drive home--I am not wealthy but, have been known to get a hotel room walking distance--when I wanted to tie one on! Sure I lost a $100.00 bucks but I would rather pay that debt then kill someone--or pay the price of DUI. And I am not a wealthy actress with the ability to hire people who could take care of my needs before they became so huge.

I do blame the parents to some degree but, the fact is by the time a person is about 12 years old they usually have the ability to think for themselves a little bit... Most 15 year olds UNDERSTAND drinking and driving has consequences... She is YOUNG but, she is old enough to know the difference--even if her parents failed her in so many ways...

At some point in a persons life the start making their own choices. The problem I see in this world today is that so many people are not required to take personal responsibility for their choices and actions. Zero tolerance for Jr. High School boys "spanking" a girls bottom--being prosequied as Sexual predators (based on the same kind of junk I lived with in Jr. High) Which was how I learned proper responses to such situation...Lets jail the 12 year old boy who swatted a girls bottom--call them sexual predators and destroy their futures and then sit back and watch the stars, rich and famous get off the hook for murder...

I don't get this world at all....

Lindsey if you read this post--please know that there are people out here who care about YOU. I frankly have not watched your movies and don't care how well you act... I do care that this publicity and the Stress of all your problems being so public can't help at all. If you ever want to talk to an ordinary MOM who would like to help you be responsible, listen to your story and could careless that you are a movie star...TMZ should have my email and has my permission to pass it on... You really can't do this alone and some of us don't care how famouse you are....
