Lindsay Keeps Rolling -- Right Into Rehab

Exclusive Lohan launch: click to view photosTMZ has confirmed that Lindsay Lohan checked into Promises rehab facility under the watchful eye of her lawyer.

TMZ spotted mega-lawyer Blair Berk driving Lohan to the facility on Monday. Sources tell TMZ this is "a serious medical treatment program," not the in-and-out ruse used by other starlets in the recent past. We're told Lohan will be a resident at the facility, possibly for 30 days, but her outpatient treatment will last much longer.

It would seem Lohan's next movie project may be on the skids, at least temporarily. We were told shooting was expected to start the day after tomorrow, but that almost certainly will not happen.

UPDATE: A rep for Lindsay Lohan issued TMZ the following statement:

"Lindsay admitted herself to an intensive medical rehabilitation facility on Memorial Day. Because this is a medical matter, it is our hope that the press will appreciate the seriousness of the situation and respect the privacy of Lindsay as well as the other patients receiving treatment at the facility."

Rosie – I Was "Foster Kid" on "View"

Rosie O'Donnell -- always wanting to get the last word in -- says that she probably won't speak to "View" combatant Elisabeth Hasselbeck again after their on-air slugfest, and that being on "The View" for the past year made her feel like "a foster kid."

"I haven't spoken to her, and I think it's just as well" said Rosie on her video blog at Rosie.com. "I wrote her an e-mail, and she wrote me back, and there you have it." What's more, said O'Donnell, she compared her stint on "The View" to being "just like a foster kid for a year ... I didn't really fit into the family and now it's time for the foster kid to go back home."

Rosie also confessed that the moustache left on the photo of Elisabeth was the work of her chief writer, Janette Barber, calling it "a joke on the way out."

Mini Brit and Mini K-Fed Square Off

Mini K-Fed & Mini Britney: Click to watchMini Britney has her very own pint-sized PopoZao -- a little person version of K-Fed.

TMZ was at Beacher's Madhouse in Las Vegas this weekend where Terra Jole, aka Mini Britney Spears, rocked out to two of Ms. Spears' biggest hits, "Toxic" and "Oops ... I Did it Again," in her Brit-inspired flight attendant and red latex uniforms. It truly must be seen to be believed.

Britney Spears: Click to launch galleryMid-performance, a gold-chain, wifebeater-wearing, thugged-out Fed-alike (played by Wee Matt) took over the stage, and just like the couple's colossal counterparts, they argued! Mini Brit even offered some tender parting words to the lil' guy -- "Get the f**k outta here!"

She's good.

Cam and Jess -- Bitchfight Brewing?

Cameron Diaz and Jessica BielCameron Diaz and Jessica Biel -- the ex GF and current paramour of Justin Timberlake -- will both be presenting at the upcoming MTV Movie Awards, reports Page Six, and handlers are doing everything "to keep Cam and Jess far apart," admitting that the situation is creating "a mess."

You'll remember that Diaz got all up in JT's face when she saw him flirting with Biel at a Hollywood party back in January. But now that Timberlake is very publicly bringing sexy back with Biel, the triangle of stars will have to be very carefully managed. Says the source, "Cameron's looking a little unstable lately."

Party Favors: Posh to Becks -- No Head Tattoo for You! ... Eighties Rock Legends Rock Cirque du Soleil ... Will Keira Play Princess Diana?

Beckhams gallery: click to launch galleryVictoria Beckham has always stood by as hubby David Beckham overhauled his hairdo about, oh, every three months. But she's apparently drawn the hair-line at a tattoo of St. George and the Dragon that Becks wants on the back of his head. David, apparently, wants to make a big splash for his US soccer debut. ... It was '80s hair-metal heaven on Memorial Day at Cirque du Soleil's Beatles' "LOVE" at The Mirage in Las Vegas, when Tommy Shaw of Styx and Jack Blades of Night Ranger turned up -- and then rocked out at the Beatles Revolution lounge later on. ... Keira Knightley is being courted to play the late Diana, Princess of Wales, in a planned movie about her life based on the book "Diana and the Paparazzi," which was being shopped at Cannes.

31. Nelson is a moron. Its not a black or white issue. If it was Brandy would be locked up for life right now. It is a matter of noteriety. The power of the all mighty dollar enables certain individuals the ability to acquisition the top (most expensive attorneys) instead of having to put their fate into the hands of a public defender. Its too bad that high profile people are not subject to the reprecussions and consequences joe public would face in similar situation like loss of their carreer or having to face mandatory minimum sentencing. Quit pampering their immature butts and teach them the reality of life. Don't reprimand them to a posh rehab center. They are not going to quit using or drinking until they are absolutely ready. Shut down or enhance a sustantial fine clubs for serving alcohol to minors. If the fines were substanbtially larger than the revenues club owners would make on the appearance of high profile celebrities, They may think twice. Some thing needs to be done before somebody else dies (Isn't that right Brandy)

33. I think alot of people just need to chill and get off this girls back. She is 20 years old and has practically more money than God. Any one of us that is long past the age of 20, if we think back, probably did as much partying as we could back in the day. She has the means and the opprotunity to do so. And in her profession. going to a variety of these events is a requirement. Now she isn't completely innocent by any means and may have let it "get to her" to an extent. But she is spied on, followed, hounded and photographed 24/7. This is her 3rd wreck in 2 year...the first 2 by the way were not her fault, but the fault of the Paparratzi trying to get the "million dollar shot".They take thousands of photos of her everyday. The ones we see are the worst ones they can find. They catch a photo of her in mid-blink and the next thing we know it's "LINDSEY CAUGHT DRUNK AGAIN!" headlines spanning the internet. Like none of you blinked as the camera flashed in your face.

34. Yes, it is true, LiLo is out of control. If her mother/manager will not put a stop to her antics, the club owners need to stop serving her...she is a MINOR. Thankfully, she did not injure or kill anyone during her "bender". These young girls (Paris, Brit, Nicole etc.) are perpetuating a very negative image of "young Hollywood".

And by the way, Nelson (the author of comment #7) is a total moron. LEARN TO SPELL. LEARN GRAMMAR FOR GODS SAKE. You should be ashamed of your post and should not be allowed near a computer until you sharpen your writing/spelling skills. I suppose that you play the "race card" in your own life as well and blame "white power" for your downfalls as opposed to blaming your obvious lack of education. Get off the white power s**t, and PLEASE stay off the computer. Your comments and "reverse discrimination" sicken me.

36. It continues to amaze me that the level of absolute ingnorance surrounding alcoholism and drug addiction is so high at all levels of society. Almost every family in this country has been touched by one or the other if not both. What also amazes me is the "rant" that most responders go on and on with. Rather than commenting on the lives and habits of others I would suggest that most of you need to get a life and mind your own damn business rather than blow off at the mouth and show your addiction, as well as ignorance, to the world.

38. Nelson, Nelson, Nelson, What the heck? If you have something say on the blog you at least need to know how to spell if you want to be critical. I agree with #18 and #22. Enough already with the racial factor. That line of crap is beginning to get old in this country. Good for you #22 for putting Nelson in his/her place. True, most of the rich and famous get more breaks than the rest of us which includes both white/black artist/actors,etc. but this has nothing to do with being a black or white issue. Get over yourself.

39. I agree w/comment #2...she shouldn't be drinking anyway!!! If it were a normal non-celeb person, our butts would be in jail so fast. Put this drunkin Slut in the slammer already like poor Paris, maybe they will learn that they can't get away with everything, even though they do most of the time.

40. As for the question is Lindsey a lost cause? NO! Evryone messes up in life at one time or another. 41. Ms Lohan was warned by the director of her last movie that her bouts with the 'flu' and 'fatigue' was not going to cut it with him. He advised that her conduct with drugs and alcohol was already an issue in the Hollywood community and he was having none of it.
She has apparently lost her contract for a new movie that was to start filming in about 48 hours. It's too early to discover what else she's lost. It's very possible that this could be the end of Ms Lohan and her 'wannabe' mama who started taking her to 'adult' get togethers before her 14th birthday.
Lindsey is talented but Holllywood doesn't need another Shannon. They have one.

42. Rosie is Rosie's worst enemy.

Funny how she can dish it out and clearly can't take it.

I think a little time off in a mental ward wouldn't hurt her one bit, might need her meds adjusted for sure.

I'm starting to wonder if Alec Baldwin wasn't leaving Rosie a message: "you rude obnoxious pig"

Her latest video, trying to find sympathy only shows a Rosie on the brink of a complete break down. This woman looks in much worse shape the the Hoff. At least he was drunk, she claims to act like this stone cold sobber.

Rosie was horrible when she used to be only on HBO and her comdey show, whoever let her out of her cage and let to run loose among the public should be locked up!

I think she has some major mental issues and Paranoid Schizophrenia really comes to the top of my list of disorders.

Yes, Rosie your comments DID indicate you thought our troops were terrorist to the people of Iraq! They were your words, you said them, then to look to EH to defend or explain your comments was cowardly on your part!
If you are going to blow off your mouth, then defend yourself! You dug the hole, you get yourself out!

Is there a petition anywhere to add Rosie to the Make Paris Go Away movement?

43. What these young girls are missing is a moral foundation. Like Marilyn M . Anna Nicole ect. They have found that fame and money are not the things in life that make you happy. A personal relationship with God, love of family, decent good friends ,serving others.... these are the meaningful things in life. How sad that these lost little girls, miss the true value of decency and honor.

44. Linsay, Brit, Paris...the chickens are coming home to roost ....I guess driver's licenses should not be issued to young actresses!.... lol They can only take direction....and it looks like they are functional illiterates......I look to the parents of these young girls and wonder what kind of foundation they instilled in these dis-functional people...What was the standard to live up to here? Or are they just plain old cash cows til the looks give out? Like so many others? Blow your nose and toss them away without another thought.....I feel great pity for these girls, they really have nothing..nothing that matters in their sad little lives....They are prostituting everything that is honorable in their life for 15 minutes of shame......What will we all say when they are over 35? will we snicker at them? will we feel a sense of riteousness if they are all used up and have nothing in their life? How.... we all stand and watch the man on the ledge and wait for him to jump...some even egg him on......sad huh?

45. I spent a couple of years reading research around addictions at a local Institute...2 more assessing individuals suspected of alcohol/drug dependencies and 1 as Executive Director with an agency operating half-way houses and community support programs....There has always been a "flirtation" with alcohol/drugs by those in entertainment ...movies, music especially. To an extent, it "fits" into both the 'lifestyle" and toward the creation of 'mystique' and allure. Interestingly, it almost becomes something that a certain segmrnt of the 'public' demands. ...For more 'regular' folk...it becomes a nightmare... of stealing and prostitution.

So we know, "addiction" is a condition...possible to create in the 'lab'...for which we have limited means to 'treat"....and honestly, hardly any. It s sill unclear why some individuals become addicted and others do not...even given similar quantities/frequencies/variabilities of use. More controversial is whether after periods of sobriety, persons can return to "unaddicted" use. Linsey it would seem is going to have to wrestle with this for the next 50 years...if she lives that long.
