A rep for Lindsay Lohan issued the following statement to TMZ:
"Lindsay admitted herself to an intensive medical rehabilitation facility on Memorial Day. Because this is a medical matter, it is our hope that the press will appreciate the seriousness of the situation and respect the privacy of Lindsay as well as the other patients receiving treatment at the facility."

17. I love the part where LESLIE SLOAN ZELNICK fails to mention how Lindsay Lohan crashed a car and was arrested for DUI and possession of cocaine. Skips over THAT entirely and goes right to the standard "we request privacy" standard-issue line from that flack.

18. To #11.... Don't thow Britney Spears in with Paris, Lindsay and Nicole. First of all - she has two children. Second, she's been keeping herself out of trouble. I'm so sick of people still talking about her past mistakes - like hanging out with Paris and forgetting her underwear which she didn't "pose" for those shots by the way. It was MONTHS ago. Get over it. She's moving on - obviously - and doing well. You should all move on as well.

19. So sad!! Drinking and driving is a lot more than a "medical matter", it is a matter of life and death. And frankly Lindsay and her team just don't get it. It is not a matter of making the right moves to get the right press. Lindsay is a girl gone wild. Hopefully she gets some help before she's a girl six foot under or a girl behind bars or a girl of whom no one gives a damn.

20. I am not gonna defend her to much here; but there is a point where an addict/alcoholics behavoir becomes baffling, even to themselves.
Take what you can get gurl, I believe there is prolly a part of you that can't believe this nightmare is really happening to you.
Keep an open mind, stay willing and good things can happen; or you can take your misery back if you really want it.

26. News of the world showed her in the bathroom after her first fake re-hab attempt. I don't see her as getting better. She is like her father, she will always be in trouble. Her mother is a weak link who wants to be her best friend. To bad she has everything, but can't handle it. This is what happens when you get everything to soon in life.

Hey Lindsay, If you need a good manager, I can help you out, I won't take any crap from you, I won't kiss your ass, and I won't score drugs for you, or let you associate with people who can, you're throwing away a career that 99.9% us would kill for, don't screw it up, I'll even pay your "Father" a visit and "straighten" him out for you. You can rebound from this, but you need to make some serious changes in your young life, the party scene sucks after awhile, and you need to move on, lifes to short to "O.D."
