Brian Williams -- Can You Spell H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E?

NBC anchor Brian Williams said "NBC Nightly News" would not be reporting on Lindsay Lohan's vehicular escapades on Tuesday evening's newscast ... due to a "lack of time!" But earlier reports of old age home Wii players and wacky wedding dancers -- plenty o' time!

This weekend's photos of Lindsay Lohan's car crash were front page news worldwide, but when Williams was asked by the Boston Herald about LiLo's antics being on his broadcast, the uptight news nerd said, "It does not and it won't be NBC Nightly News ... we have Justice Ginsburg reading her dissent today from the bench. We have record violence in Iraq. ... We've got a whole lot to cover and very little time." Oh really?

The "Nightly News" managed to find the time for the earth-shattering news of videogame-playing geezers, the vitally important news of the hot new teen craze sweeping the nation -- needlepoint, and the life-or-death reporting on novel wedding choreography. Clearly, this is hard news compared to the travails of our beloved Firecrotch.

16. Your getting all the old timers worked up TMZ lmao. Maybe most were starved for a break from the never ending arm chair analysis on the Iraq war it went on night and day, yet we hardly saw a soldier after a few weeks. Just self important media sitting around talking about it.The Media News needed to be humbled. It most likely will return back to the days of old before the war soon They have gotten the hint maybe that their self righteous round table opinions leave many OK with LiLo segments.
Just report don't go on how national matters of importance should be dealt with night and day. notice the comments in this blog are low lol Hope it's not a reflection on NBC's most risky move.

17. NBC has some nerve trying to act like they dont care about non news stories. They are notorious for trying to "create" news if it has anything to do with bashing Right Wing Conservatives.

NBC's ratings have plummeted the past months because they have been caught at taking for face value rantings from left wing blogs and than turning it into "news".

And Williams wants a medal for not reporting on Lohan? Get a grip you phoney, what do you think your parent company, Jeff Zucker, MSNBC and a large list of associatted celebrity watch sites under their control are all about?

Brian Williams has turned into the Lefts mouthpiece and his reporting is tainted, biased and unfair. I hope he goes the way of CBS and Couric, right down the ratings tubes.

ABC is continuing to gain new viewers as honest people have figured out they have been taken for a long slow ride to la la land with dishonest Williams and that whole NBC bunch.

Make sure you dont report on Sean Penn, Jane Fonda, Babs, Rosie, Robbins, Sarandon, Baldwin and Clooney while your feeling so righteous Williams.

18. Lindsay Lohan's story IS important and it -should- be widely reported.
Who better to use an example to those of her ilk or wannabes that her way is the WRONG way.

You can just bet your life if the Bush twins did some public service announcement that was anti-drinking and driving he'd be the first news anchor to give it top priority on his bias and boring newscast.
Lindsay Lohan is the poster girl for what not to do, for how not to behave, and where you'll end up if you think otherwise. That makes her story newsworthy not only in the gossip world but in mainstream media.

19. The trashy antics of the new millennium girls is just that and lets leave their stories on the back page and off the TV news. I DON'T CARE!! GO NBC!! Now, lets get FOX NEWS off the air. TV would be getting back to what matters, real news, not filler.

20. THANK YOU NBC. I would rather watch a piece on the 2007 Geriatric Wii games, than anything regarding Lilo on major media stations. Besides that's what TMZ is for, right?

23. Kudos to Brian Williams! Kudos!
She doesnt deserve to be on the news. (Besides I think ET has that one covered)
There are much more important things going on in the world than her. And she, paris,Nicole,Mischa and Britney need to learn that.
I'll take the senior citzens playing Wii and anything besides them on tv any day!

24. THANK GOODNESS!! I'm so sick of anything having to do with a celeb being 'news' (let a lone the CNN ticker) - that is what 'E' TV is for, not the nightly news. GO NBC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

25. Yeah, so NBC News is hypocritical -- is that a big surprise? From the tone of your story it sounds like TMZ is being defensive -- are you guys just feeling bad that you're not real journalists? Are you insecure? Sure sounds like it. That's ok -- just go post a few more stories where you make fun of innocent kids with long hair and dead celebrities.

Jesus, the way you TMZ staffers dish it out seems like you wouldn't be so uptight about where it is exactly that you fit

26. Horrah for Brian Williams. I am so tired of hearing about Lindsey Lohan and her journey to self destruction. If given the choice I wuld much rather hear about the geezers as you call them. Hopefully they will also not report on Brittney, Paris, Nicole or any of those useless people.

27. TMZ is acting silly.

28. TMZ has a right to take a jab at Brian Williams. He, above all the other major anchor people, is the biggest hypocrite of all. Obviously, TMZ-ers don't listen any better than they read.

Give 'em more pictures and video's, TMZ! That's really all most of them can really comprehend.
Lindsay probably, too. I don't see her as 'getting it' anytime soon, if ever.

29. And be fair, TMZ-ers. If it had been Katie Couric and not Brian Williams making that asinine statement ,"We've got a whole lot to cover and very little time." you would be all over her for one and ONLY one
reason: She's funner to hate.
