Hayden Panettiere and Rumer Willis -- now these girls know how to paint the town ... yellow!

Maybe it's because summer is right around the corner. Maybe it's because they want to show the world what close friends they are. Whatever their reason, yellow was the answer to all of yesterday's questions.

The BFFs shopped around Beverly Hills boutiques on Wednesday, toting ginormous matching handbags and goggle sunglasses. Rumer was sporting a perky and more Demi-Moore-ish haircut. On the sidewalk, they were not toppled by the weight of their purses, and even managed to thrown in some giggles for gawkers.

36. She may have inherited some of her mothers features, but why not try growing the hair out. She clearly doesn't have the petite her mother has to pull off that boyish hair cut. She's awfully masculine & I've never heard about her dating anyone? Maybe Rumor doesn't like boys??? Nothing wrong with that, but it would explain her style a bit now wouldn't it.

38. You guys are so hard on Rumor. I think she looks just fine. I am also glad she's hanging with a better crop of a person than the others she's usually with. I hope Bruce, Demi , n Aston can keep her in line. I saw a couple of reports of her being with the LiLo crowd. Keep your head up and keep it together Rumor.
