Paris Hilton's mom told TMZ cameras that her wayward daughter is "preparing and praying." The June jailbird is clearly trying to find God before she heads to the slammer next week. Big guy up in the sky, show me a sign! Hallelujah!

Paris and a pal attended an evening church service at Bel Air Presbyterian Church, which offers several classes on Tuesday evenings, including an Adult Discipleship class -- the perfect course for a future convict! TMZ spoke to one of the church's Bible Study leaders, who explained, "The bible is the key thing. Without the bible you don't have anything. You get to know who your God is." This might come in handy in jail!


The other Tuesday church group is "The Foundry," for ages 22-35, which according to their site, helps to "Grow them up in the likeness of Christ through small groups, and go out to serve with their gifts and passions." Retail therapy to save the world! Hoorah! Shop for Jesus!

Whichever class Paris attended, she is definitely on the road to scrubbing her sins away! Goodbye perdition, hello probation!

Don #9 was making a point, which you obviously missed because you are an idiot. I will try to explain it in such a way that your little pea brain can understand it. What he was trying to say was that people in prison turn to God so that people will think that they have regret for what they did, but as soon as they get out of jail, they revert back to their old ways because, oh, I don't know, they don't need to fool anyone anymore. Unfortunately, some people are easily fooled. Duh, that would be you, Loser!!!!!!!!!!!!

34. Judge not lest the be judged!! Remember that people. If going to jail helped Paris to realize that she does need God in her life its a wonderful thing. If not then she will be the one that has to answer for it one day. It is not our place to judge the merits of her religion!! We all make mistakes.

36. This mother just annoys the crap out of me. Where was she when her daughter is out every night drinking at clubs? Where is she when her daughter is getting in fights at clubs? Where is she when her then 19 year old daughter is making sex tapes with men old enough to be her father? Why isnt this girl in college actually learning something besides what shade of pink to wear that day? The girl has no skills, no talent and is living off the money of her parents. This girl has the last name of Hilton. How embarrassing to have this girl ruin her family name like this. Her parents should take every cent away from her and send her ass to school to learn something. But in the meantime.. someone needs to show her that she is not above the law. She should go to prison and do her time, just like everyone else. How stupid do you have to be to break the law three times and then claim to not know what was going on? PLEASE. Her mom needs to stop praying and take some parenting classes.

44. Look, first of all I thought that TMZ itself was a little sacreligious here. A little respect for the Church itself would be nice. And secondly, maybe--just maybe Ms. Hilton is growing up a bit and looking for some guidance. Stranger things have happened. Perhaps she's beginning to realize just how messed up she seems to be and is trying to right the ship. Frankly, I don't quite understand all the anger and cynicism directed towards her. She's been a joke but has she done anything to anyone personally to deserve such scathing hostility? The girl has been surrounded by privilige her entire life yet doesn't seem to have a clue as to how to actually live. The same for these other young starlets like Spears, Lohan, etc. If anything, I feel sorry for them.
