31. Promises rehabilitation malibu does not come up in Google. It you check out the site for Passages in Malibu you can take the virtual tour. They have a gym. they have gourmet food. They have marble pillars and marble floors. If Promises exists it must have a gym as well therefore no one needs to leave to work out. Has anyone heard of doing push ups and crunches on the carpet next to your bed if there was not a gym? Jack Palance did one handed push ups on an award show! No gym, just the floor!

32. This girl is a joke. Leave her alone and quit taking pictures of her. That's the best punishment of them all. She's a kid with an addiction and needs treatment .......... not a mother who wants to be her 'best friend' and get attention.

Get the kid some help and get her away from the media.

Also......... I think she should be fired from the movies she has landed. There has to be some sort of punishment or these rich, spoiled, young adults are going to keep up this riduculous behavior. If she drives while under the influence, she could kill someone. Get help.

34. I hope Promises gets some bad publicity for this. No wonder recovery only works for a small percentage of people. This is not how it's done. Yet they rake in $48,000 a month? For what?!

35. These celeb therapeutic rehabilitation programs are unlike any (long-term EFFECTIVE) programs of which I have knowledge. They appear co-dependent with the celebs (genetically-predisposed addicts) who are simply using these centers (specifically this one as we don't hear of the serious ones on TMZ) as an ineffective short-cut program to avoid the law, courts, and the papparazi (who film the truth). "Promises" and others like them who let their "patients" out before the conclusion of the BASIC 21-day period of isolation from the world for fully detoxifying (all levels) and confronting their problems are just playing the MONEY game with people like Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Nicole Richie, et al.

One can tell by Britney Spears (a mother of two sons under the age of two years) web site that she simply does not get it--she was permitted to go shopping, to Starbucks, et al. during her stay! Neither does Nicole Richie get it.... Interestingly enough, the only person who may end up saving herself is Paris Hilton due to the harsh reality of jail time for not being responsible and taking the privilege of driving and the responsibility and a part of that privilege seriously. I wish Paris Hilton the best in this process and, until Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, and Nicole Richie show me a different side I have no respect or admiration for them in any way.

A serious program is necessarily structured and intense for a reason....

37. If your withdrawing from booze and oxi there is no way 4 days later u want the gym you will need lots of fluid and rest the withdrawl from oxy is like herion no way 4 days later gym. And for the price of promises shouldn't they have there own gym?

38. Looks like this "Promises" place is not all that great of a rehab facility. No one in Lindsay Lohan's circle is serious about her rehabilitation. They place her in a facility that apparently lets her come and go as she pleases, and that is no way to be serious about getting better.

39. When I went to Promises we went to the gym a few times a week. It is beneficial while detoxing to exercise. It helps you to sweat out the toxins. There is nothing wrong with Lindsay getting some exercise.

41. So Promises is a *star* vehicle like a movie or a red carpet event. They like the publicity Lindsay generates, so she can come and go when she pleases. Sounds like Promises, Promises.

43. OMG.. This rehab place is not worth a damn, if they allow her to leave. Promise has a gym according to reports I have heard I mean damn they charge 48,000.00 . This chick will be dead before she is 30yrs old. Lindsay need a real rehab to help her get better. She is not serious at all about rehab!!!

44. What a joke! I went to rehab because I'm an alcoholic and I was there for four months and one week. I was voluntary. There's no way in hell you can learn anything about anything in only 30 days. 90 days is a minimum if you really want to change your life. We weren't allowed phone calls for 14 days and we couldn't have visitors or leave the facility for 30 days. Period. I actually thought LL was doing something about her situation, but apparently she's not. She'll be back to her old habits in no time. Poor thing. BTW, I've been sober for 61/2 months now...it works if you work it!!!

45. As a person whom works with drug addicts, no she would not be allowed off the grounds. (unless she had a family funeral). She could work out plenty @ her facility for 48 G she should have her own gym. They also probably have sauna. She needs to be under strick supervision. She also wears those bracelets which I have seen a few wear. Good stash places. Centers are now just checking those. You would be amazed how these people try and do get drugs into centers. She also should have a dietician and stay away from her caffeine drinks. They also should have her check out for clinical depression and other problems. She needs to stay clean. She has 2 options death or prison if she straighten up! Everybody has done stupid things, and we are lucky most have not hurt or killed us or others. Living with what you do and the consequences would be tough. So Lindsay, you are not above the others for prison or death. Use it for good and be useful for others.
