62. If you want to see what goes on at Promises -(or, apparently what doesn't) just Google "Promises Rehab" They have 3 locations.
It appears to be a really nice spa with a whole load of expensive babysitters/enablers. They obviously don't care about treatment if they allow the inmates to run the asylum.
I feel badly for Lilo. It's hard to watch someone so young kill themselves. She must hate herself alot to be doing this. Don't cheer on the death of someone so young. She obviously has a lot of demons to contend with - how would you like a mother like Dina?

63. Didn't she originally go to the Wonderland Facility earlier this year?
Why didnt she go back there?
Those two facilities are both shams. It is just a way to get her out of jail time. She is so lucky she didnt kill anyone or herself.
Why didnt the court pick the facility for her to sober up at (where the rehab gives a weekly report on her progress) ? How about Betty Ford?
And why isnt she doing more months at the rehab? She had a relapse apparently so she should stay longer?

64. I have been to treatment in a hospital setting. We were NOT allowed to leave the facility or it would end up in discharge and if you needed to be there to satisfy the courts and you broke the rules the court would get a copy of the non-compliance and early discharge without completion paperwork and that meant jail time for sure. Hell, we were not able to have caffinated coffee and of course smoking was no way allowed. As for detox, it was three days minimum depending on drug of choice and your vitals were checked every hour by medical staff. You were given medication to help with the withdrawl symptoms. SO, I guess my question is WHAT KIND OF PLACE IS THIS REALLY?? After the fourth day we were able to take part in on site excersice and after a week we were able to leave as a group with two hosptial/rehab employees who would drive us to outside AA meetings. It was a structured and safe enviroment. This girl is screwed!! But of course LA is like not the real world. I hope she still gets jail time at this point. Her peeps don't care about her otherwise she might have gone to Hazelton or even Betty Ford. This train wreck is not over mark my words.

66. ****She Admitted Herself**** They can not hold her there. Unless there was a court mandate for her to enter rehab, she can leave anytime she chooses.

She may have felt seriously embarassed enough at the time to put herself into rehab, but a couple days later when pretty straight, and the hangover wears off, she probably doesn't really feel the need to be there.

I am sure that Promises has a gym at their facility. LOL for $48k they had better have one.

I fear that unless the court system commits her to rehab, she will have a hard row to hoe in the future if she has any future left.

I am also sure that her mother, agent, lawyer etc. don't really want to be involved because she is $$$ to them. If she gets the ass at them she will withdraw the $$$.

If she did this the right way, she would have gone to a detox at the hospital for 7 days with lockdown, no caffine, no cigarettes and intensive counseling every other hour. Then go to rehab at a facility like Promises.

I don't see much hope for Miss Lindsay Lohan

Reelredhed, you are absolutly right. This is the same type of program I put myself into for alcohol abuse. I put myself in, but I was with people who were there by court appointment.

The way you describe is exactly what I went through.

In the end, I think Lindsay will be forced to go to real rehab. She hasn't had a turn around ala Paris Hilton. At least Paris has shown remorse and has shown that she can and will do whatever she has to do to turn her immage around. (I still don't care for her one whit) And even though I don't care for her, i do admire her sticktoitness.

70. With as "posh" as I've heard Promises is, I'm surprised they don't have a gym - although I'm thinking not many people going through withdrawals (sweats, shakes, vomiting, headaches, muscle cramps, hallucinations) would want to add to the agony by going to the gym.

72. i agree w/a previous post on here. it's sad to see someone kill herself like this. if she doesn't end up actually killing herself (which i believe is a real possibility) she's killing whatever is left of her career, any respect anyone had for her.....any compassion. it's sad to see someone who must hate herself so much and w/no one who apparently cares enough about her to help her not self-destruct. i believe i read in a previous interview she did that she didn't believe she needed to be in rehab (or something to that affect) after she went the first time. who will want to work w/her now? or insure her on a film? or even, go watch any film she's in....at this rate....she'll be a "whatever happened to...." story on cable tv some day soon.

73. It's called take a run around the compound, get a jump rope, sit-ups....but don't leave. Rehab is rehab...24 hours per day...if Firecrotch can't take it 100% seriously, there's no question it won't work.

74. WTF is going on in California or wherever she had the accident at??? IF it was in any other state your ass wouldn't have an option to check into rehab c/z you'll be in the proccess room in either CIty or County Jail.... SPECIALLY being underage!!! I honestly can't believe people like her and Nicole Richie can be gettin away whit s**t like this. Atleast they're teaching Paris a lesson, but if they found coke inside her vehicle (Lilo's vehicle) they should of taken her ass to jail for possesion!!!! Stupid COPS!!!
