76. This is just another example of celebrity favoritism. Wouldn't most people be booked and in jail for a DUI involving leaving the scene of a crash and then having coke in their car???

She may end up like Anna Nicole Smith. She needs help BIG TIME and working out should be at the bottom of her list!

79. Here is a BIG difference in "Rehab"...First, it means what you want it to mean. She went there as a Volunteer; she can leave ANYTIME. Celebs use this 'cause their PR folks want to make it look like they are "doing something" about their Problem. Second, rehab only means business when a Court SENTENCES you to rehab..you have court ordered rules about staying/leaving, etc. You ignore them at your peril or its Jail time. This Promises crap isn't Rehabilitation...it's a PR fairytail.....LL will be out for Paris' going away party.

81. Anyone who knows *anything* about addiction, especially to something like OxyContin or cocaine, should know that the DRUG (whichever drug you prefer) makes you CRAZY! All of the warning signs are there: Lindsay's tendencies to open her big mouth too much (crazy misspelled emails, anyone?), brag about her "sexual conquests" (um, I think that's called "being a slut"), yell at people, drive too fast for the sake of wanting to or showing off, kicking people off of tables at clubs, stripping in front of Marilyn Manson... geez, I've read too much about this damn girl! But, my point is this -- eventually, she's going to kill herself from these drugs. If it's not an overdose, it will be something even more stupid. Something like getting into a high-speed accident, thinking she can fly and jumping off a roof, whatever.

And I agree with the comments about her being starved for paparazzi attention. Again, another very OBVIOUS sign of a serious addiction. I bet money that she's reading thse posts regularly. So, if you are, GET SERIOUS ABOUT THIS! You've already lost a ton of credibility, soon you will have none left. People only care about you because you've already have so much attention, but your stories will get really old after a while. Consider actors like Drew Barrymore, Ben Affleck, Robert Downey Jr, anyone. Once they cleaned up their acts, they are SO MUCH MORE respected in the field than they ever were. Don't let some stupid drug rule your life. You realize that's all it is... SOME STUPID MANUFACTURED DRUG! Not the answer to your life's problems...

Ok, that'll be $45,000 please! LOL

82. This is just a death waiting to happen. She tried rehab for 30 days before....obviously it didn't help, so why not go in for 90 days this time around Linds if you are really serious???? Anyone remember River Pheonix and his tragic demise? You can only help someone if they want it and are ready for it. Obviously this girl doesn't want to take it seriously, so what next, put her in jail for possession of drugs and fleeing the scene of her weekend accident? Sounds like the best thing to me in order for her to see how serious this whole thing is. Last I heard, possession of drugs was illegal. Shouldn't she be in jail right now?

83. yah i so agree...she is probably just going to rehab to alleviate any type of legal ramifications regarding that whole car crash situation. also, she probably wants to show movie executives and directors that she is a "serious" actor and that she is managing her drug problems and won't be a risk to cast in movies.

as for exercising in rehab...i dunno i guess it would be okay if she were taking detox and getting sober seriously. maybe she's afraid of puffing up and gaining weight as a result of stopping any drug use...plus isn' t exercising good for releasing mood boosting endorphins? regardless, this kid needs help ASAP

I'm pretty sure there were other people in the car as well. I don't think jail helps these people - but I know for sure Promises certainly can't. Maybe some of these stars should be sentenced to 30 days with no attention. That might wake them up!

87. OMG. She is so not serious! Get real girl. She needs to sit her butt down and stay there for the full 30 days. Life will go on without her! Someone plopped her in there to avoid jail, she isn't doing this to get clean at all!!!!!!!!!

88. Trust me, any good rehab doesn't allow their patients to leave for a short road trip. I was in rehab years ago and the minimum stay was 60 days. There were no newspapers, books or TV allowed, also no phone calls. We did chores and attended AA meetings 2 times a day. It truly was like being in prison but the success rate was quite high (no pun intended). Now days, all these "rehabs" are nothing more than glamorous day spas. It's such a joke to hear what these people are allowed to do when they're at rehab. Also, AA says you have to attend 90 meetings in 90 days, does she have a sponsor, has she completed the 12 step? Doubt that happens with these people. Promises isn't a rehab, it's a hotel. Oh well, it's her life and she's allowed to throw it away if she chooses. If she's serious she should go to a true rehab - preferably jail.

89. IF ANYONE HASN'T SEEN THE ACTUAL FOOTAGE OF THE NIGHT AND THE EVENTS LEADING UP TO THE CRASH, AND THE CRASH AND LINDSAY FLEEING THE ACCIDENT SCENE, JUST GO TO YOU TUBE AND DO A SEARCH UNDER LINDSAY LOHAN....
I THOUGHT THERE WAS A BIT OF HOPE FOR HER AND FELT A BIT POSITIVE TOWARDS HERE, BUT THE EVENT'S LEADING UP TO THE CRASH, AND THE DESTRUCTION (someone could have seriously been killed) AND LINDS RUNNING FROM THE SCENE.....
WHY WOULD ANYONE RUN FROM A CARCRASH IF THEY WEREN'T DOING SOMETHING WRONG? (i.e. driving under the influence)...THIS IS SCARY VIDEO AND I HOPE THEY PRESENT IT IN COURT AND SHE GET'S SOME SERIOUS TIME.......NO JOKING PARTY FUN TIME ANYMORE....

90. I am NOT in denial. I got sober at Promises in 1993. I am still sober. I admit I didn't go to Promises Malibu, it wasn't even in existence way back then. At that time the stars went to Promises with the rest of us 'normal' people. It is an excellent program. We left site all the time. We went to the gym and to AA, NA, or CA meetings. I have no clue whether the Malibu facility has an exercise facility, but if she wanted to go to a different gym, so what? She had people wih her.

If she isn't ready to get sober she won't. Period. Doesn't matter which rehab she goes to. Each individual has to hit their own bottom. I had a friend who went to 15 rehabs before one finally worked for her. She has been sober 18 years now. WE don't know what Lindsay is feeling or whether this is her time. If it isn't, then so be it. It won't harm her to be there. It will only help, even if this isn't her time.

Detox is different for everyone. I highly doubt Lindsay has been drinking long enough to have DTs. If she were she would be detoxing in a medical facility. That is just how it works. When you enter Promises you are seen by a doctor. They would know if she needed to be in a hospital or not. We don't know. Let her get all that she can out of her experience at Promises. Personally, I wish her luck.
