Officials "Have No Idea" Why Wrong-Way Richie Can Drive

31. Is it possible that she pled not guilty and that she can retain her driving rights until the court hearing? I am not sure on the laws but I think I read that after her drunk confession the night she was pulled over, she turned around and pled not guilty and that there is a hearing set. Anyway, guilty as sin, still driving (after leaving a party - I'm SURE not under any influence of ANYTHING HA). Funny, I guess that the police weren't called so a police report could be filed - wonder if she had to get out her check book the other night and pay off the person she had the fender bender with. I have had the experience of losing my driving priviliges because of drinking and driving. I have gone thru treatment and am no sober, but in the state I live in ( and considering I am a nobody) I have to contend with not driving for another year. I was court ordered into treatment and it was no spa that I could just leave and come back after getting a pizza or working out or getting my StarBucks fix. If nothing else, Paris has accepted her fate for driving on a suspended liscense. What is happening with these young women and what they are getting away with is a disgrace. Shouldn't Lohan be in jail since they found coke in her car - why was she released without seeing a judge in the morning? That's what I had to do. Can they arrest her now if she's in treatment? I don't think that any of this is over to say the least as far as Richie and Lohan are concerned. Hope they get what they deserve and if that is getting clean and sober then that would be great.

33. THEY SHOULD HURRY UP AND PROSECUTE BECAUSE SHE PROBABLY DOES NOT HAVE A LOT OF TIME LEFT. LOOKS LIKE SHE IS STARVING TO DEATH. I SAW TAMMY FAYE BAKER ON T.V. LAST NIGHT (GOD BLESS HER), AND I THOUGHT SHE AND NICOLE RICHEY LOOKED THE SAME. TAMMY FAYE IS DYING FROM LUNG CANCER AND WEIGHS NOTHING (NOT HER FAULT). Florida has crime....some of it very unpleasant. so does everywhere else i'm sure. however, you don't see it TIME AND TIME AGAIN in the tabloids & gossip blogs about how repeat offenders are getting away w/crime that the average person would be punished for. perhaps you're from california and that's why you're so sensitive?

41. I believe Lohan was treated at the hospital for minor injuries, then when the cops showed up "admitted into the hospital " see how it worked for her? she took off after the cops left, checking herself out.
This is why she was not taken into custody that night.

Got that impression first time read your comment. Congrats. Will have 10 times more respect for you succeeding than have for 1 star staying sober. They have had all the resources one can imagine and took/take them all for granted.

I have always lumped her into the same bottom feeder category as Paris but I heard her speaking on Ryan Seacrest the other day and she was surprisingly articulate and took full responsibility for her actions. I was ready to dislike her intensely - but I actually found her quite engaging and intelligent. Who knew?

45. Officials 'have no idea' because they cannot come out and tell you she is receiving preferential treatment. Like someone...made a phone call. Favors are meted out to the rich and infamous...everyday. The common people of America seldom receive any mercy. They like the little bit of money we have way too much.
