All he has is mal practice claim - Opri will get her money in the arbitration - its in her trust account so they just need to say okay this is your correct bill then she may transfer it to herself - basically LB never intended to pay her a dime - and she caught on -

The Malpractice claim will be defended and paid by her insurance -- years and years and years from now if ever

497. Good for Larry for filing a lawsuit against Opri...she SHOULD be DISBARRED for what she's done! She's what you call a thief. Plus, Larry told her NOT to show up at the funeral, she did along w/ her entourage and then billed Larry for their high class meals, her husbands dry-cleaning expenses, and might as well say that she went on a high-class vacation and tried to get away with it at Larry's expense. I wonder how many other clients she's done this to, and hopefully, they open their eyes and check their records to see if she conned them also.

and to read the 56 page Court Document Opri's Lawyer submitted on her behalf, (http://www.artharris.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/opri-6-6-07-response.pdf)requesting the Court order Arbitration of her bill to LB. It's hilarious, twisted and revealing.

Opri claims among many things:

- LB demanded she file a paternity action in CA (wrong Country) because CA was a media capital and could begin the process of making him a celebrity.
- LB knew he had nothing to do with the FL case regarding the disposition of ANS' body, that was strictly between HKS and VA, but demanded Opri have the Judge allow LB to testify because that is where the media and 'all the action' was.
- Opri had withdrawn from the case (LB says she was fired) the day before but Opri says the Bahamas Court simply enforced the CA Court's order for DNA testing that Opri had previously secured. The DNA order from CA that ANS did not comply with and which the FL Court refused to enforce was now being enforced by a foreign Country's Court according to Opri. That is, LB's Bahamas' Lawyer did not get a DNA test of DL, she did!
- LB was 'obsessed' with her and 'high maintenance'.

Opri numerous times insinuates that LB and HKS have some sort of relationship, coming very close to saying he's gay. Opri knows that public opinion in the USA almost always turns visciously against gay people.

Opri - who spread lies, rumors and innuendos about HKS so successfully that to this day many people still believe them to be true and refuse to believe they have been 'had'.

Opri - has now turned her sick and twisted flame-thrower on LB. Opri wants the world to believe she filed useless Court actions in two different States of the wrong Country only because LB insisted, not because she was incompetent or a media-whore.

Phew... a woman scorned ... :-)

506. Dannylynn looks healthy and happy. She is a cutie. Larry has a lot of things he has to take care of. I don't envy him one bit. Anna died pretty much broke the way it looks, with a lot of bills and a lot of lawsuits. Now Larry has to take care of the mess that Anna made. Opri told Larry she was doing his case pro-bono. Then she decided she wanted to be paid. She should be paid expenses that she paid for Larry and that is all (i.e. baby stuff, stuff for apartment, etc.). But Larry can't pay that now until his lawyers say he can. Seeing that Larry told her he didn't want her at the funeral she should not have gone or charged him for it. It is probably true that it was Howard who told Larry to tell Opri not to come to the funeral. But an attorney needs to listen to her/his client too. I hope that Larry comes to his senses and gets Howard out of his and Dannylynn's life. Larry doesn't need Howard, but I fear that Larry made promises to Howard in order to get his baby. I hope that Howard doesn't leech onto Larry and Dannylynn like he did to Anna. If he does that will be a very telling thing. And I don't think that Larry will put up with it for long. Howard has shown himself to be a very vengeful person, i.e. slandering Vergie (even at her daughters funeral). Getting back at Opri. Howard doesn't seem to take responsiblity for his share of blame in Anna's death and for not forcing her to get the help she needed. He was there all the time he saw what was going on. He was Anna's advisor and Anna trusted him, he could have gotten her help if he had tried hard. Anybody could see if Anna kept on like she was doing she would be dead soon. Vergie should get to visit her granddaughter. Vergie should not get any control over her granddaughter or any money of her granddaughters. I don't think they will get anything from the Marshall money. Although I think the Marshall should just settle, because it causes strain and stress on them too. Larry is correct in saying that sometimes it is time to quit fighting and hating. But Larry, you don't have to hate Howard, just try to get him out of your life. He made a mess of Anna's life. Don't let him leach onto you.

Not your fault; in the first instance you loved her and are just a nice guy; in the second instance, in your state of stress and anxiety, you trusted and shouldn't have. We've all done it. 509. You people keep inserting the name of Howard K Stern into every discussion. Perhaps you have not read, or have forgotten the statement that Lin Wood issued regarding defaming statements against his client. To refresh:

510. Opri is a disgrace to her profession, and for a lawyer, that's saying a lot! Fancy charging a client for lobster dinners, huge restaurant tips, and her hubby's laudnry bills! She even had the poor taste to charge Larry for attending the ANS funeral. And she did not take adequate steps early enough to facilitate Larry being able to be reunited with his child. Opri cannot take any credit for Larry finally getting reunited with his child and so she cannot expect to be paid, as she did not do her job.
