Celebrity Justice
Hoff Fights for Custody ... and Ratings!

Flashing some of that legendary chest hair, David Hasselhoff emerged from a Los Angeles County Superior Court, visibly excited about what happened in front of the judge a short while ago, but unable to talk about it per the judge's order. Instead, he did what any star with a major TV show debuting tomorrow night would do -- he plugged like champion!

The "America's Got Talent" judge started by expressing his unbridled excitement for the new season of "AGT" (which debuts tomorrow night on NBC), before masterfully slipping in a plug for his new book, "Don't Hassle the Hoff," which he'll be signing tomorrow in NYC. This guy is slick!

Hoff is due back in court June 15 to continue the hearing ... and if you can't get enough of The Hoff, "America's Got Talent" premieres Tuesday night on NBC.

18. His wife is a coke freak with the worst attorney, Opri... He's at least a loving dad for his wife to be put down like she was. Give him a chance. He loves his kids. Many of you are drunks and over prescribed druggies and smokers and sex addicts online... give him a break. At least he is a loving father and with a wife who is cruel to her own children... he's the best of all in this family. I wish him well !!!!

20. AMERICA'S GOT TALENT was BAD ENOUGH the first time around. WE DON'T NEED A REMATCH. Besides, who is going to tune in now that the hot weather is here? People that watch this disaster of a show need lives.

21. to # 23 "Been there done that"..I've been there too.. difference is, in "Hoff's" case, You are NOT there! What right do have to tell him what to do, to tell his wife what to do? You do NOT live in their homes, don't know them personally, have NO clue what goes on. IF indeed you have been there, you should know that you don't make accusations without knowing ALL of the facts! Yeah there are problems, but you only know what you read in the tabloids. After seeing the video, I would agree that IF this is an ongoing drinking problem, then rehab isn't a bad idea but you don't make a judgement about anyone's life based on one video. It's been stated plenty that Pam has kept those kids from him for years, much like the Alec Baldwin case. You don't keep kids from their dad because you happen to be on some power trip but again, I was not there, I am going on what I have read. They're celebs but they're also human beings with real problems and children are involved. Since you have NO clue of the TRUE nature of those problems, you don't fly off making accusaions, you pray for them that at least for the sake of those girls that they can be adult enough to try to work them out and if either of them does indeed need help, that again, for the sake of the children, they do the right thing. you DO NOT accuse unless you walk in their shoes. Not every spousal abuse case (or rumors of such) are true nor are they the same as what you or I have been through. People read this stuff for entertainment, not to decide how they should run their lives when you are not there to actually SEE what is really going on. (BTW -- the caps button has an UN lock)

22. What is he fighting over custody for? His kids are grown. It's not like they're little tots for goodness sake.

23. I really don't like this guy, "Hoff", and always thought he was hiding something about himself. Turns out, I was right.

btw, I've known a lot of drunks in my 40-plus years and that picture above IS a drunk. Probably was even drinking not too much earlier than when the pic was taken. Wise up, "fans". (or should I say, 'lemmings')

27. To Been there too:
Why don't you just get a life instead of going off on other people who blog online. I agree with Been There Done That as David Hasselhoff has had many documented drinking and drug problems (alcohol, cocaine, etc) through the years. I don't know about Been There Done That but I am not only referring to the infamous video his own young daughter shot of him lolling around on the floor too drunk to eat, he has also been thrown off a flight due to drunken behavior, cut his wrist and hand badly shaving (how do you do that? what does he use a razor strop?), and there have been many other documented cases through the years.

Also, regarding your statement that his wife has kept his children from him for years... what a crock! They didn't even separate until June of last year, how could 12 months of separation translate into years? Your lack of logic is astrounding.

Also, regarding your trite little dig about the caps lock... get a life. Some people use caps when they want to enphasize something... oh that's right, you used caps yourself several times... oops.

This video where he is leaving court and trying to push both his tv show and his new book is disgusting.
