Shemar Moore DUI -- The Young & Arrested

TMZ has learned that actor Shemar Moore was arrested early Friday morning on suspicion of DUI in Los Angeles.

According to the CHP arrest report obtained by TMZ, the former "Young and the Restless" star was pulled over after officers noticed the actor speeding near Santa Monica Blvd. at 1:30 AM. After he was stopped, cops reported that Moore "displayed signs of alcohol impairment and a DUI investigation was conducted." Moore was then arrested and transported to a nearby station, where he took a breath test and was later booked.

Moore, who currently stars in "Criminal Minds," was released a few hours later on $5000 bail.

Calls to Moore's rep were not immediately returned.

91. Celebs are humans too ......Dont think they dont make mistakes like the rest of us ..... Who are we to judge? Just because they are in the public eye there business is out there for speculation. Just try and remember they eat,sleep,drink and poo just like me and you...... They are no better or no worse then any of us..... REMEMBER THEY ARE HUMANS!!!!!!!!!!!! Reguarless of how much money tey make.

92. I am appall that Hilton Paris' got pull over not once but 3 times and she get's to serve her time @ home but if that was a no name person we would have to do our time in JAIL.......

94. DUI is the new "adopt a foreign child"/"get photographed with no panties on." Used to be a few years ago in Hollywood you were cool if you pulled up in a chauffered limo then it was chauffered SUV now it is drive your own car. Very sad.

96. suzyq7cars are you serious? Where is your common sense. The cops are out there trying to stop people from being killed by people who drink and drive, and you are complaining that they are taking it too far. God forbid it force you to drink at home or have someone with you that doesn't drink.... yeah because that would ruin the fun. Me and my husband go out and support the local restaurants and bars, but one of us doesn't drink, plain and simple. And if we both want to drink, we do so at home, quietly together. It's called growing up and being responsible. You should try it sometime, and not bitch that the cops are doing their jobs. If only they could get every idiot that drinks out from behind the wheel, maybe so many innocent lives wouldn't be lost.
