Shemar Moore DUI -- The Young & Arrested

TMZ has learned that actor Shemar Moore was arrested early Friday morning on suspicion of DUI in Los Angeles.

According to the CHP arrest report obtained by TMZ, the former "Young and the Restless" star was pulled over after officers noticed the actor speeding near Santa Monica Blvd. at 1:30 AM. After he was stopped, cops reported that Moore "displayed signs of alcohol impairment and a DUI investigation was conducted." Moore was then arrested and transported to a nearby station, where he took a breath test and was later booked.

Moore, who currently stars in "Criminal Minds," was released a few hours later on $5000 bail.

Calls to Moore's rep were not immediately returned.

91. OMG, Every celeb. in LA has a DUI. What the freak is going on? Are they all drinking until the sun comes up or is this newly (barely )exploited source of revenue for the city of LA. I guess if the cops can't beat the brains out of the good citizens of LA they will just hand out DUI's like breath mints.

Well, if Shemar needs some consoling I'd be more than happy to rush to his house with a nice bottle of Sonoma wine. LoL

93. DUI is the new "adopt a foreign child"/"get photographed with no panties on." Used to be a few years ago in Hollywood you were cool if you pulled up in a chauffered limo then it was chauffered SUV now it is drive your own car. Very sad.

95. suzyq7cars are you serious? Where is your common sense. The cops are out there trying to stop people from being killed by people who drink and drive, and you are complaining that they are taking it too far. God forbid it force you to drink at home or have someone with you that doesn't drink.... yeah because that would ruin the fun. Me and my husband go out and support the local restaurants and bars, but one of us doesn't drink, plain and simple. And if we both want to drink, we do so at home, quietly together. It's called growing up and being responsible. You should try it sometime, and not bitch that the cops are doing their jobs. If only they could get every idiot that drinks out from behind the wheel, maybe so many innocent lives wouldn't be lost.

96. He's not hot, he's on the way to dead or killing others driving drunk. The asshole is a moron, along with Paris and Nicole and all those who drive drunk, their fans think are hot. They'll be hot in hell after the've killed someone because they drank and drove. Cut the crap .. no hot guys or gals drive drunk, only the most selfish ,overindulged ones, who should be replaced by good actors and actresses. I don't want to see any of these people on stage or in film anymore. And, if you lose a loved one to a drunk, you won't either.
