94. #92, first of all, where in any of my comments did I come off racist? What does that mean I am no white person lover either? Apparently, you read it wrong. I was making a point that it would be unfair of me or anyone to make a generalized comment about a race based on the actions of one or two people of that race. So how does that make me racist? Darling, I have white aunts and uncles, my church has blacks and whites in it and I've grown up there since I was six. My godparents are white. My sister-in-law is white. It's all through my family so how could I have grown up racist? I don't care if you're black or white. No one should turn around and take any debate to the level of racism. No, I don't believe you're sorry. What makes a person want to go to that extreme? I learned that from my white aunt. Now I have the right to feel the way I want about someone's so called apology. Me quoting white crime statistics was not to point out their wrongdoings, but to make a point that you can't take a few bad apples and accuse the whole bunch. Knowledge is the key little lady. And if you found offense in the point I was trying to make then you must have been looking for an argument. Why get defensive over what you heard? If it holds no truth to you then you don't have a reason to get defensive about what anyone is saying. Why should it hurt you if it holds no truth to you personally? Bottom line, I don't know why some black people do what they do and why some white people do what they do. That's not my problem to get defensive over someone else's issues. I don't care how angry I can get at a white person, and have, I never stooped to that level of taking to racism. You did. And that's your problem not mine.

O.k, I edumacated myself, thanks. First off, it's only the strong survive, not the rich..... genius!

Second, not every race is killing themselves in record numbers, only african americans. Not saying that blacks are the only ones killing and committing crimes, but it's the fact THEY ARE DOING IT AT AN ASTONISHING RATE, far more than ANY other race, that bothers me.

44% percent sweet heart, the numbers don't lie. Social equality would be great, but it's not gonna happen in the society we live in today, impossible. Too much hate, drugs, and lack of amily values.

I did not write this comment to bad mouth africans, it's just the fact that more blacks are incarcerated in the u.s, like it or not, thats the way it is, and thats the way it will stay.

If they want to be racist maybe it is the only way that they know how to be and the only way they know how to prove that their race matters as well, considering everything the black community went through and still go through.

In America there are MORE POOR WHITE PEOPLE THAN POOR BLACK PEOPLE. More whites on welfare than blacks. In America there are also MORE white people population wise than their are blacks.

YET THERE ARE MORE BLACK PEOPLE IN AMERICAN PRISONS THAN THEIR ARE WHITE PEOPLE.

Try not to blame poverty for stupidity..okay. You make yourself look bad as you fumble for excuses, admit when you are wrong. Or I guess continue to find new and more inventive ways to blame "The Man".

The number of black males KILLING Other black males in America is FAR greater than the number of white males killing white males in America.

Was that SIMPLE enough for you?

See the difference are a lack of morals and active parenting. A person raised in a good home no matter ho poor it is will KNOW inherently right from wrong. And instead of taking the easy route and selling crack and or killing someone for a car. The person raised with a good moral compass will take the job at Mickey D's instead of crack dealing and car jacking.

98. Why do the faults of some blacks and whites have any place here? Is LIndsay Lohan the poster child for all white females? No! Do prison facts mean that the brothers and sisters who post here should feel responsible or destined to that life? Why keep this hate going people? Why are you hiding behind a computer and saying things just to hurt those of another race on this board? If you are black and you saw a white man injured on the road, wouldn't you stop to help. I know it sound horrible, and trust me, I wish the facts weren't true, but they are and thats the reality we live in these day's, sad but true.

Wouldn't that be wonderful if we lived in a world with no violence, or racism? but we don't, and we must come to grip with the facts, as hard as they may be.

I'm white, and if I saw stats that proved there were 44% of whites in corrections, I would state it, and accept it, and possibly try to make ammends. But the fact is iluvespringbreak, that it's not white people who are offing themselves in record numbers.
