The Game Charged with Pulling Gun During Game

The GameRapper The Game has been charged with making a criminal threat and with possession of a firearm in a school zone during a Feb. 24 pickup basketball game, according to the L.A. District Attorney's office.

The rapper, whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor, allegedly got into an altercation with a player on an opposing team during a basketball game at the Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex in South Los Angeles. After allegedly punching the victim, cops say The Game pulled a gun from his red Escalade and threatened to pop the victim. Not very sportsmanlike!

The 27-year-old is also charged with one count of exhibiting a firearm in the presence of an officer. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday for the three felonies.

Just last month, LAPD arrested The Game at his Glendale home, after police executed a search warrant. He was released on $50,000 bail. If convicted, The Game is facing more than five years in state prison.

106. Why don't both of you show what your really made of an reach out in a truce with each other. Let all of us on this site witness both of you coming to an agreement to disagree, but stop the bashing. I'm sure both of you are very good people. How can we expect the hate to stop in American when it goes on in this board. Reach out and show that both of you are man enough to stop dissing each others' races. Please?

107. Hey Laura, I agree! They both seem like they have a great sense of humor and if they met under certain circumstances, they might even be friends. Neither one seems man enough to back down. I don't think either of them are racist, just angy and wanting to lash out. I would show my teens if these dude called a truce. Yeah guys, do it. You know you don't hate and blame all the blacks or whites.

108. Done. However, don't ask me to "agree" with a racist. For the record, I'm WHITE and have never bad-mouthed any race in any of my posts ever!

109. I am by no stretch of the imagination a racist I'm an American Indian 100% my wife is Mulatto 50/white 50/black. My daughter is one heckuva mixture.

I am however as is my wife, disguisted with the black community and it's failure to admit it's major problems. Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery. I do NOT blame all blacks just the ones perpetuating the cycle of poverty and violence, through ignorance.

In Am hist X ,Edward Nortons character did not die, his UN-repentant little brother Edward Furlongs character did. Thank goodness I have never liked Furlong ever since T2 when he screamed like a ten year old girl...? What was that all about?

110. Yeah Max but we whites have our problems too. Both of you are good people and Max, you are a daddy too. Not all blacks and whites are perpetuating the problems in both of our races. Like another poster said, both blacks and whites are on the line in combat for their country. If you and Springbreak were on the front line together you would deeply respect each other and have each others back. Both of you may have had past issues which make this a very touchy subject and each one in defensive over their own point of view. Both of you have shown yourselves to be true men. Thank you.

111. Done. And congratulations for never bad mouthing any race, i'm proud of you buddy.

I do agree some of my comments were a bit racey, sorry :( I do not take back any of the FACTS, that I wrote, neither do I like the fact that our society is the way it is, but reality has to kick in at some point and we need to realize that the world we live in has major problems. In-order to begin solving these problems we must look at who is doing the most damage, and where to focus our attention.

My first choice would be to focus attention on the family unit, but it has shown that this strategy just isn't working. Sooo......... we must look at where to focus our attention, unfortunantly my opinion is that we must attempt to educate and remedy the black and hispanic communities. Sorry if you don't agree........... not a racist, just my opinion.

112. "UNFORTUANTELY THAT'S WHERE POOR, TRAILER ROCKIN', WELFARE INFESTED, MOONSHINE DRINKIN', STANDING IN LINE FOR CHEESE, SHEEP BANGIN', SISTER MARRYING, SPENDING MY TAX DOLLARS WIPPING THEIR ASSES, WHITE PEOPLE LIVE."

Ilovespringbreak - This is a QUOTE from your post #98

Now you write THIS - "Done. However, don't ask me to "agree" with a racist. For the record, I'm WHITE and have never bad-mouthed any race in any of my posts ever!"

But I am supposed to find you "credible"???

113. Umm.....Max...Have you noticed that anyone can use any name at any time? TMZ needs to enable profiles to stop imposters.

Like I said...I'm white! I love my race, I love my culture, I love America!

Enough said!

114. Yes ilovespringbreak - I am if anyone here WELL AWARE of TMZ website issues.

I do however find your late defense of said post a bit suspect. Normally when one is doppleganged they will call it out as soon as a fake poster shows up.

I unfortunately have had to use MANY names on the TMZ site in the past year, due to TMZ's failure to SIMPLY enable profiles. WHICH you would think they would do especially since their regualr contributors are the most ripped off here.

Harvey and the "boys" cannot be bothered to make their site better/protect their regular CUSTOMERS they are busy playing with eachother LITERALLY.

115. O.K last one. First I'd like to thank Skaterchic for attemptin to bring some order to some of the posts, much respect, you should be a teacher or counselor, seriously :)

I'd like to leave on a positive note: Black, white, yellow, green, whatever color you are, we have some serious problems in America with crime and violence. Over 2 million people are in some form of corrections, that is more than any other country. No matter people hate the U.S.

I agree I shouldn't have focused on a particular race, not cool, but no malicious intent intended, I just wanted to see what the facts said. Sorry If I offended anyone.

As far as iluvespringbreak. You actually had some good points, as well as some horrible hipocritical ones. Just curious what is your highest level of education? Promise no more comments :)

116. Thanks guys. I am truly in awe of BOTH of you. Just the way you BOTH have handled this in the end further confirms that you are good hearted people who have different opinions. Neither of you is a racist. People just want to be heard and understood. Both sides have valid points in any argument. But the fact is that I think in a a different area, both of you could make very intelligent and significant discussion on this subject. As a mom, I can tell that both of you were raised right, regardless of your race. Max, I bet you are a good and fair father too. Good luck guys and thanks so much for allowing this entire site to see your truce. God Bless!

117. I made some pretty ignorant comments as well and yup, I
was just upset
and wanted to lash out. I apologize. We should all exchange emails and become friends and discuss something of real substance.

118. #93 my six plex happens to be in Canada where people of different races live in peace. with all this bickering from both sides it makes me proud to be Canadian!

119. Wow...this is probably one of the best exchanges of opinions and the ability to "agree to disagree" I have ever seen on a TMZ blog. Matt, Max and Spring..even though I will probably never meet you guys in person, you all seem to have the same goals in mind. I think we all are basically disgusted from time to time with the shortcomings of our race and their behavior makes us all ashamed regardless of our color. But this was nice too see and it proves to me that in the end we are all "just people" Thanks ..you really made my night better!
