17. Well, so Carrie can carry a tune. I don't think that is enough for a longterm career. Not that I am the life of the party, but she has absolutely NO personality whatsoever. When I think of the big female country artists I see someone with charisma and a big persona. Sorry Carrie you need to enjoy your 15 minutes and invest your money well because it will dry up soon.

23. I think Carrie Underwood has been remarkably poised since winning American Idol. Before Idol, she had never been on an airplane. After winning, she finished her remaining classes and received a College Degree. How many young celebrities do you know that have college degrees? Most of them act like they didn't graduate from high school. You will never see Carrie parading around the bar and club scene every night, getting drunk, and ending up in rehab or jail. She is a wonderful role model for young girls. At a concert where Carrie performed, hundreds of girls were wearing Carrie t-shirts and carrying her picture for her to sign - and she did. Carrie is like a breath of fresh air. I'm the mother of two pre-teen girls and I'm glad they are her fans. You people who don't like her - how do you explain that she sold more albums and won more awards than anybody else the last two years?

24. Nicely said Andie. I have two daughers as well and I am so thankful that there are people in the spotlight like Carrie Underwood. She's adorable and I'm a bit shocked by some of the posts here. She is the least controversial celeb I can think of. I didn't know people disliked her. That's so strange to me. She's done nothing questionable what so ever.

25. Hey Jake thanks for the compliments about Tulsa. I live in Tulsa and we do have some beautiful homes here. As far as Carrie goes I saw her in concert in Tulsa back in November and she was fantastic!!! She was all over the stage and interacted with the audience very well. I had a great time and would go see her again and again.

30. To Poster #23: don't believe all the stories that are told about her. They made her sound like a poor little farm girl that had never seen the bright lights of the big city when in fact she had been performing for years and touring with her band.As far as graduating,yes she finished supposedly but I bet you she did not march down the hall with her books while she was recording and touring.They sometimes make exceptions and give people a diploma and I am sure she is one of those exceptiions.
