18. You people are blind and dumb. If there is one thing I have learned over the years, it is that JAIL TIME = MAD STREET CRED for selling albums. Paris's crappy ultra-produced cd will no doubt go Gold as a result of this if it hasn't already from her paying off radio stations to play her singles. If she simply rapes or shivs an inmate, her CD will go platinum no doubt and offer her the opportunity for a follow-up album. This is so good for Paris that I am beginning to think it is a ploy developed by the recording company representing her. I still don't know why the companies haven't been able to produce a tipping for for LiLO. I do know they must be working on some sort of jail time angle for her. The coke-head, alcoholic angle isn't doing the trick. I just hope they don't pull a "Tu-Pac" and have her killed to boost her sales. She is obviously more expendable to the recording industry. There must be a battle going on internally between the film and recording divisions in Hollyweird. However, if either one goes down, I hope to God they don't find "archives" of previously unreleased tracks by either of them to continue making albums post-mortem.

Good luck, Paris. My advice to you.....SHIV a bitch, don't BE the bitch. Establish that early.

19. I love how her lawyer is saying 'poor Paris....she should be in 'general population' (in jail) because now she has only a 100 sq. ft cell and no one to talk to...' BOO-freekin'-HOO! This paris-ite needs to grow up, and her family is no help at all! Clueless bunch of bums...I don't know where their sense of entitlement comes from, probably inherited like most everything else in their pathetic lives....

20. FYI... It is impossible to hate people you don't even know. It is not even possible to dislike them because you never even met them. You live in a fantasy world as if these are people who you see on a regular basis.. the computer doesn't count. If you don't want to read or hear about Britney, Paris etc anymore, stop going to entertainment websites. The wesites post about these people because it initiates responses, yours included. Stop posting comments and they will stop with the articles. I give Paris credit for sitting in solitary for even one day, it would be enough to drilve a normal person crazy, let alone a rich heiress. There are so many actors caught with drugs, too many times to count, and not one has served a day in jail. She blew a .08 excactly the legal limit, not one point over. Most people would have gotten off with a decent attorney. She did get a bad rap. Has Nicole Ritchie even spent one day in jail with all her arrests? I am sure she learned her lesson. I could not even imagine spending one day in solitary let alone 23.

26. I agree with other posters! SHUT THE HELL UP WITH ANYTHING PARIS, TMZ! I think many people were looking forward to NOT HEARING ABOUT that waste of space for 23 days! MOST people just dont care about her so find something else to report! Is it that hard to report something else? ANYTHING else?

29. I feel sorry for Paris because reality finally set in before she got herself hurt or someone else. It is tough to imagine if you have never been jailed to know how you would respond. She is still a human being that had to learn a lesson, and I believe that this is the only way that it would sink in. Everybody that is making fun of her, I hope karma does not catch you. TMZ has photographers everywhere like leeches trying to make a dime and to keep their gossip on top, only because she is a celebrity. She has not helped herself, of course, with her ways and actions, but at some point, you have to realize that these people, too, have feelings. I don't look at gossip shows because it is so demeaning to make a dollar off of another person's troubles. I wonder what your pearly gates are going to look like? What goes around comes around and I think it is ridiculous for people to crowd these teenagers that are breaking the law...you help them by applauding them with your curiosity and cameras, trying to make money off of them, so they keep going at it as long as the public keep putting them on pedestals. And all it is, is that you are making money...if people didn't care, there would be no TMZ. It's a shame...one day, let's hope you don't pay for the dollar you are worshiping at another person's extent. Harvey Levin, who says he is a lawyer, this show really makes him look like nothing but a setting hen gossip bird. The judge overdid it and there are a lot of others should have gotten the same sentence that is out of jail. This, I hope, will turn the way Paris does things around and I hope for her own good. Hopefully, the public will be compassionate because the sound of jail is horrifying to me, and I am sure she didn't think that she would ever have to face this...hopefully now, this lesson sinks in because I would not wish this on anyone, not even Paris. It may seem funny to you and you pass her off like she is nobody, but Paris is someone's child, remember that. The photographer that hit the ground trying to take pictures for his weekly check, it was good that he hit the ground. Let's hope his next gossip picture gets the same result.

30. Sad that most of you people here have NO life so you have to hate the rich, famous and beautiful. Paris is just a girl having the time of her life, and the rest of you are flipping burgers and hating your lives. I agree that NOBODY should drink and drive, and I'm glad to see she stepped up to the plate and did her time. When you hate somebody like Paris Hilton when you know NOTHING ABOUT HER AS A PERSON, you need to look at your own pathetic lives to find out where it all went wrong!
