31. Dude, i live in Miami... there's not many better places to see good looking women than here. What I'm saying is there(experts) opinion counts more than some randoms on an internet forum. James Cameron picked her from 1,200 other girls to star in Dark Angel - the applicants included a Miss Teen USA, now current Italian Supermodel, and plenty of girls from Miami and Cali as the main auditions were held there. She has something special, and looks good if she gains some weight. And the fact that people think she's stuck up because she hates the paparazzi amazes me. She's confident not cocky. Basically, just because her face is everywhere and she's famous doesn't mean she's not as good looking as women on the beach, there's a reason why they look so good on the BEACH, compare Alba in a bikini (say Puerto Rico pic - no make-up) to any Cali or Florida girl and you'll see what i mean. She's beautiful not "average."

36. I won't say that anyone who doesn't like her is a hater, but I think Jessica Alba is extremely attractive. I have seen some recent pictures where she has lost some weight but she still looks good to me. The GQ pictures, in skimpy attire (Sin CIty, anyone?) and otherwise, she's pretty hot.

I am considering Debra's earlier point [Posted at 4:29PM on Jun 5th] - and I think we often are expected to confuse someone being cute or attractive with being a good actor, which is an unwise assumption to make. As an example, I don't think even Jessica Alba herself would say her early movie credits come close to say Lauren Bacall in "To Have and Have Not" with Humphrey Bogart. Not even close.

45. Jack, are you kidding? If you want to see a pic of her on a beach without make-up just look at the one in Puerto Rico/Mexico... she turns heads and the best thing about her is that she's smart, can cook and excels in a variety of sports which cant be said for many Cali girls.
