City Attorney Wants Paris Back in Jail NOW!

The Los Angeles City Attorney has filed a motion asking the judge who sentenced Paris Hilton to have her returned to jail to serve out her full sentence.

In the documents obtained by TMZ, City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo is also asking Judge Michael Sauer to hold a hearing, demanding that the Sheriff's Department show why it should not be held in contempt of court for violating Judge Sauer's May 4, 2007 order, which expressly stated "no electronic monitoring."

Late this afternoon, the judge granted the request for a hearing, which is now scheduled for 9:00 AM PDT tomorrow.

31. I was so sad to see the judicial system of California showing such disregard for the law. Hooray that someone has the balls to let the princess know that she can't waltz home when she gets bored, sick, or starting to get strung out without her drugs. Please set an example and send her back. If she does do house arrest she should be drug and alcohol tested every other day plus allowed no visitors.

34. The REAL problem here is that jails and prisons have no mirrors because inmates could use them to make glass shards. There are only aluminum reflector pieces on the walls, if at all, to give back sort of an image of a person. This is why she had a breakdown. No mirrors!!

35. Paris does't deserve to any specal privileges. If she can't hack it in jail, tough luck. None of us like living in a cell. Maybe next time she wont break the law.

37. Thank you Rocky!!!! I hope the judge ups her sentence to the full 45 days without time off for good behavior. I'm also hoping everyone involved in this "cover up" gets thrown in jail along side that skanky ho! I, for one, have already written the medical board about her so-called shrink. Paris was supposedly too upset to face the music of her slander suit due to her pending jail sentence, yet she's more than mentally able to go parties and the MTV movie awards? Yeah, this herpes infested beeotch needs to be put UNDER the prision or put her ass in with genpop!

38. God I just love Ex Partes!! Kudos to the City Attorney and YES the Sheriff's Dept better be held liable! Or they can get ready to be slammed with discrimination suits and others claiming they are too fragile to serve their time!! What I wonder is HOW does her parents actually hold their heads up with a child like Paris and how she represents herself in public....

39. RETURN PARIS TO JAIL.

Renew the public's faith in the justice system. Had this been a regular person, they would be required to do their entire sentence (sick or not) in jail.

I'm fed up with celebrities getting preferential treatment. If they break the law, they should be punished like the rest of us.

40. I don't blame Paris, she bought herself the best deal that she could get, just like O.J. and many other celebs. Who in their right mind wouldn't prefer house arrest to the LA County Jail? The real problem is the so-called "justice" system that allows this to happen!

41. Write emails to him. I did it when they posted his name. His email address is
rocky.delgadillo@lacity.org.

Dear Mr. Delgadillo,

"I have directed my criminal branch to immediately explore all possible legal options to ensure that the law is being applied equally and justly in this case.

If law enforcement officials are to enjoy the respect of those we are charged with protecting, we cannot tolerate a two-tiered jail system where the rich and powerful receive special treatment. We must ensure that in our city, in our nation, and under our Constitution, justice remains blind."

If this is a true statement from you, many would like a full investigation to this farce of a sentence for Paris Hilton. If you read on the internet and watch the news, you will find that millions of Americans are outraged over this. If she is that "mentally unstable" she should not be allowed to drive a car and her license should be PERMANENTLY revoked. I am sure most inmates in jail are mentally fragile or have some psychiatric problem. They aren't being let out to wear an ankle bracelet and be at home. It is another mockery of the justice system and what is it going to take, some innocent person dying from one of these girls drinking and driving. Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan will be both be coming through you system next. The whole country is watching.

People who drive drunk and violate probation should be held accountable for their actions. I don't care who their parents are, how much money they have, etc.

Los Angeles is a joke. Put Paris back in jail. The whole nation is watching and no one except for Paris, her family, and whoever they paid off are happy about this. Watch the news, her house will be the new hotspot. I bet she is drunk within the next 24 hours. If she was that sick she should have been moved to a psych ward or infirmary.

43. Like everyone else, i come onto TMZ to take a peek at what happening in pop culture. But there's something SERIOUSLY wrong when this Paris Hilton story not only dominates TMZ, but the mainstream media as well.

So much attention being focused on this case when our troops are dying in this ghastly war and even Bush has admitted it will get bloodier and bloodier. Not only are U.S. troops and many other people being killed and maimed, not to mention psychologically damaged for life, more and more families are being ripped apart by these unnecessary deaths.

What kind of world do we live in where THIS story, about Paris Hilton, dominates so much of the news coverage? It's sick and it's insane!!

I'd rather know when our troops are going to get out, then when Paris got out! I really would!

44. I'm hoping she get the full 45 days or whatever it was, and because she tryed to con her way out of it, with the help of her shrink, she should get time for that also and her shrink should too! So should her parents, if they did pay someone off. I am hoping she gets it good....

We all know they have the care she needed in jail, so I do not buy the health reasons crap, mental or physical. Ya know, this is all so sick, I never give a rats a** about her, still don't, but it's a matter of justice NOT being served. That's what really pisses me off. I don't wish her harm, just that she do what's right, serve her time.

45. USA is the new Disneyland and Goofy is your leader. You guys sure are amusing for neighbours, lol. Could Paris be popping in and out of jail like a honeymoon prick? Ah, pass the popcorn, This is Entertainment, LOL.
