Celebrity Justice
County Official: Paris "Reassignment" is BS!

The decision to allow Paris Hilton to serve the remainder of her time under house arrest is already under heavy fire from L.A. County officials.
Don Knabe and Paris Hilton
In a sharply-worded statement from L.A. County Supervisor Don Knabe, he claims that Paris' "reassignment" is a load of crap: "This incident with Paris Hilton is just the most recent that highlights the problems our criminal justice system has with making sure sentences stick, whether it is in a County jail or under electronic monitoring."

393. This just goes to prove that depending on who you are ,you can get away with murder! I thinks this is just not right. Paris needs to growup and needs the time to think about it with out her little high priced interuptions!

394. I think the powers that be at the County jail didn't want Paris to observe all the goings on there. They didn't want her to write a book about it.

I think employees would have given her things for her book also.

396. put the spoil bitch back in jail and let her think...so she wont do it again. How could they let her out, most people in jail much have medical issues.

397. If we were in Paris shoes we would do the same thing. No one will turn down an "open cell" www.myspace.com/envyjr

398. I'm furious at the fact that people like this rich whore break the law and get away with it just because her parents are friends with the LA county sheriff.

399. someone was definately paid off. and the only health problem she has is drinking withdrawl.... hey, i see a large party happening at paris' house in the next 40 days!

400. I agree with the sheriff. Releasing her was the right thing to do! She’s young, beautiful, and rich. Jail is no place for such a privileged person of society. Jails are for working class people. So how can a upper class maiden be treated like any yahoo and placed in an common jail. - Go free young Paris, go free…

401. of course it's a bunch of crap! way to show a great example of our justice system

402. well mr knabe the treatment that paris got was no different than the turning of a blind eye to you own son's lobbying/consulting group landing favorable county goverment contracts for his clients( conflict of interests?)and you claim your son did no wrong...shame on you daddy!
what a typical lying " do a s i say not as i do(to enrich myself and my family @ taxpayers expense) politician your are! too bad there are no term limits for l.a. county SUPER-visors, time for some new hippocrits instead of the same old ones.
p.s. i am ashamed to even mention that i live on the same block as you do!

403. DEMAND JUSTICE.....call Attorney Degadillo office to complain that many other women in prision deserve the EXACT same treatment as Paris....

213-978-8100..................Free all women from the LA jails.......due to lack of fair treatment....

404. They should put her mom in there with her. A decent parent would not want to see their daughter posing and grinning all the time and with a smirk on their face...Judge should be listened too, not the Sheriff......Put her in another facility, not the luxury of home. Listen up, justice system....empty your filled jails with those who should have been released long ago....A former Police Dept employee.

405. My son was cited for driving on suspended license last year. Guess what? Not one day in jail. Where was the outrage? Where was the media? Mr. Knabe I believe has bigger problems then Paris Hilton. He needs to do his job and stay out of our personal lives. Paris Hiltons woes are none of his concern and there are none of ours.
