"Free Paris Hilton Now" Celebrates!

Dave Seaman, yes Seaman, from Free Paris Hilton Now has issued a statement of overwhelming joy regarding Paris' newfound semi-freedom:
Free Paris Hilton Now
"The liberation movement is simply thrilled with the news! This is a triumph for grassroots civic action."

Meanwhile, anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan has thrown in the towel in her public fight to end the war in Iraq.

17. 'Kimmy'-

Have you ever heard of correct English and grammar? (a contraction is not just a part of child bearin').

You exemplify the typical Paris fan. Spoiled, ignorant and seemingly privileged.

Someday we'll sober to the fact that this celebrity nonsense is insanity and distraction to the real world.

Paris..go back to jail..go to hell...we don't care.

18. Don't you find it amazing that Paris was released from jail for health reasons? There are men and women in our jails and prisons with mental disorders, HIV, AIDS, TB, sexually transmitted diseases, ect. that must remain behind bars and pay their debt to society. They don't get to go home to a house with a movie theater and a bowling alley to serve their time. With news like this, it makes me ask several questions.

Do we truly live in a Democracy? Are the people in the United States really in charge of our government? Is it right that any person off the street gets the book thrown at them if a crime is committed; meanwhile, a person with celebrity status (something that is worshipped like a Greek god in this country) gets a slap on the wrist or sent to rehab? No wonder kids either want to be a professional sports player, or an actor/singer/model. For their 15 minutes of fame, one can get 15 days or 15 years knocked off a prison sentence or better yet 15 months in therapy.

On another note, what’s this talk on erroneous pension plans for ex-senators, missile defense systems in the Czech Republic, and the CIA torturing people? Is this my tax money going to work for Uncle Sam? The whole idea of a red/white/blue tall & skinny old uncle always gave me the creeps. Can I disown my own Uncle, or at least stop giving him money? While he was creepy when I was young, he seems more like a James Bond villain to me now that I’m older.

I guess the lesson for the day is to become rich and famous or have a glorified title to your name and you can do whatever you want in this country while you walk all over the rest of your fellow humans and their silly laws that you are entitled to be above.

19. If anyone is as outraged as I am by the release of Paris Hilton as I am I have located the phone number of the Los Angeles County Sheriff Dept complaint dept" 323-526-5541. For those of us working with kids that are facing incarceration time, that do not have the benefit of high priced attorneys and psychiatrists it becomes increasingly difficult to convince them that they will be treated fairly and equally by our juvenile and adult justice system. Therefore, it becomes equally difficult to convey to them the importance to "play by the rules" as they become increasingly convinced the rules are not equally applied TO THEM. Please join me in expressing your outrage on behalf of our children.

My children make me very proud because they work hard and try to follow rules. They were always taught there is a right and wrong and you will pay a price for the wrong decision in life.. Poor Paris someone dropped the ball with her upbringing .This is O.J. allover again. She should be ashamed of how the people view her. Now she can lay in her cousy bed and eat lobster and gab on the phone. SHE IS A FRAUD AND A LOSER.

I agree She should have gotten house arrest in the first place!
Why throw the baby out with the bath water? Now that's hot, (tnc)
Oh, wait. The blood sucking media folk's will spin this move into a major history changing travesty before Lunch.

22. Dear Paris: I am so glad you are free. You are sweet and cuddly... And you are a complete idiot just like I am.

23. I am so glad you are free, Paris. You are so cute and cuddley and now you can go out
in your automobile and kill someone and you, in my bloodshot eyes, will be still more cute and cuddley. This is the person who paid five dollars to watch Paris Hilton paint her toe nails.

Hey Gin,

I really don' t think God had anything to do with this one. Personally, I'd like to think He's got better things to do with His time than spring Paris Hilton from the pokey. Obviously, Mr. Semen does not, however.

25. How absoluteley assinine that anyone would start any campaign to free a someone who drove drunk and broke her probation, This woman isnt a POW out of a camp, imprisoned for three years. She wasnt in jail for something she didnt do. She deserved punishment as any of us would have, Any other memebr of the public would still be sitting their butts in that jail. Cindy Sheehans fight against the Iraq war due to her dead son doesnt not belong in the same article as one of spoiled Paris Hilton, What a dire insult to Sheehan who courageously has fought our governent over a damned wrong war.

26. I am so happy to hear that Paris is out of jail. I would not want to be Paris Hilton. People say so many mean things about her. why? Is it because she is young, beautiful and rich? For all of you haters out there on Paris - leave her alone and pray for her and yourself! It a shame that we make rich people feel bad about themselves...

27. Hallelujah!

Posted at 1:45PM on Jun 7th 2007 by Thankk God Paris is out

28. Goodness! I cannot believe how many haters there are. I have heard that 5 days is the normal stay for this sort of crime. She should have been put on house arrest since the beginning. I don't see how putting her in a cell was supposed to help at all. I am glad that Paris is out of that horrible place. She is still doing her time by house arrest. I wonder how YOU would feel about having to stay in a horrible place like jail. You shouldn't be so quick to be so judgemental. Something like this could happen to you, too. And if it did, wouldn't you want someone in your corner? I am hearing so many hurtful words...what has she done to you? The world goes round and round, so watch out cause what goes around, comes around. My prayers go out to Paris, in hopes that she sees the very things that are hurting her, so she can find her way. And I also pray for the haters, you need to slow down and not say so many hurtful things. The shoe can vary easily be on the other foot. I hope that never comes to happen, but you know what they say about how things can turn around in a flash. God bless one and all.

29. THIS IS JUST PLAIN WRONG, PERIOD!!!!! THERE IS NO MIDDLE GROUND TO IT, I WOULD BET TO SAY SOME OF THE OTHER INMATES WERE PROBABLY JUST AS TRAMUTIZED AS SHE WAS, BUT THEY DIDN'T GO HOME. IF I WAS YOU PARIS I'D KEEP A VERY LOW PROFILE, YOU'VE PROBABLY DONE TICKED OFF A FEW UNSAVORY CHARACTERS WITH YOUR ELITIST ATTITUDE.
