If You're Pissed Over Paris, Don't Blame the Judge!

The decision to move Paris Hilton to house arrest was made entirely by the L.A. Sheriff's Department.
Paris' sentencing doc
TMZ has confirmed that Judge Michael T. Sauer was informed of the Sheriff's decision before Hilton was reassigned to house arrest, but the Judge only responded by reaffirming the terms he imposed on May 4.

We spoke to Allan Parachini, Public Information Officer for the Los Angeles County Courts, who advises that "All decisions on incarceration are made by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department once a sentence is imposed."

So don't tell it to the judge.

UPDATE:
Allan Parachini addressed the media outside of a Los Angeles County Courthouse regarding Paris Hilton's early release today, and reiterated that the court did not sanction the early release of Miss Hilton. He added that the Sheriff's Department contacted Judge Sauer on June 6 and asked him to change his sentence to allow electronic monitoring for Hilton. He declined, sticking by his original sentence, which clearly nixed that type of punishment.

35. The L.A. Sheriff's Department has obviously forgotten that Paris, by her own admission, is a "ni**er".

Lee Baca-MaleALL MALE DIRTY DOGS!The 3 Stooges. You are the men that
have used the wrong equiptment when judging Paris Hilton.Your Paris
Pussy Whipped! If she was mentally unstable, then you should have
put her in a more lenient mental facility to finsih her sentence.
She has learned nothing from this, except that she can continue to
act like a slutty, sexual call girl and she knows she can manipulate
your private parts. What if she killed one of your family members or
friends driving drunk? She still may if she continues on the path
that she is going. She hasn't even taken any classes on this
matter.I'm sure tonight the three of you will have creamy dreams.
Maybe you got some kickbacks$$$. Sleep well tonight and when she
gets back on the road, you better pray she doesn't drive
drunk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

39. If Sherriff's may now decide the law, why do we have judges? Maybe we should employ all Sheriffs to sit on the Supreme Court of Our United States of America and just kill off Lady Justice (as there is no more justice here).
I have even a BETTER idea! When someone is convicted of DUI Manslaughter, why don't we just "take 'em out back an shoot 'em"? Makes a hellova lot more sense that WASTING 10's of millions of taxpayer dollars keeping them on Death Row. That money would be better used if given to the families of the victims.
Unfortunately, Paris sees NO WRONG in her actions. It's all coming from all of her paid morons who keep telling the bimbo, "You're Beautiful!, Gorgeous! Hot!". I'd tell her that for the right price, myself! Makes me wonder what her paid people REALLY say behind her back!
Paris-get the help you need before you are responsible for the death of someone. It may end up being someone YOU know and love!

40. I am not fan of Paris Hilton. It is very typical people only stay a night or 2. It has been that way for many people who have driving issues or are not bad criminals. If she does house arrest that is fine. I don't think it was preferred treatment. I have just heard the jails are so over crowded that is how it is depending on the crime.

41. I can't believe it's legal for a judge to rule, then for a sheriff to counter-rule, and for the sheriff's rule to trump the judges order. This seems like a big break-down in separation of powers. Which constitution allows a sheriff to assume the powers of the judiciary?
