If You're Pissed Over Paris, Don't Blame the Judge!

The decision to move Paris Hilton to house arrest was made entirely by the L.A. Sheriff's Department.
Paris' sentencing doc
TMZ has confirmed that Judge Michael T. Sauer was informed of the Sheriff's decision before Hilton was reassigned to house arrest, but the Judge only responded by reaffirming the terms he imposed on May 4.

We spoke to Allan Parachini, Public Information Officer for the Los Angeles County Courts, who advises that "All decisions on incarceration are made by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department once a sentence is imposed."

So don't tell it to the judge.

UPDATE:
Allan Parachini addressed the media outside of a Los Angeles County Courthouse regarding Paris Hilton's early release today, and reiterated that the court did not sanction the early release of Miss Hilton. He added that the Sheriff's Department contacted Judge Sauer on June 6 and asked him to change his sentence to allow electronic monitoring for Hilton. He declined, sticking by his original sentence, which clearly nixed that type of punishment.

81. So when are all the other people in county lock up going to be able to go home? I mean if it's a matter of crying and telling the sheriff you are going to have a nervous breakdown, hell it should work for everyone, not just Paris. Oh, I forgot, she is rich, she is famous (for what reason I don't understand, certainly not talent). I think it is total crap. Just one more reason to look down on the justice system in LA.

82. yeah...it makes us all sick to our stomachs...pissed at the sherriff...where does all that anger get us...NOTHIN....you want to know what it gives paris ...PUBLICITY .. we now know that money buys EVERYTHING. Thank you oh great goddess, paris, for teaching us such valuable and wise lessons....you may have just been the beginning of a civil war in our nation... the unrich and the rich.....there will be an uprising in all of us.

83. Who's crazy? Obviously it isn't Paris! Turn on the poor pathetic, dumb blonde (actress remember???) routine... let the tears flow and BINGO she's out. Dumb? I think not. The "ones" who let her out are in that class. This is beyond acceptable! Money talks... Paris walks. Meanwhile, thousands and thousands of "normal" NON VIOLENT people are in jail and it is doing nothing for their MENTAL HEALTH either! I agree, what the heck is a judge for when a SHERIFF can release someone at will? If this one can "go free" due to mental (or money) stress... unlock the jailhouse doors and release all the others! CRAZY messed up system we have. But, we continue to donate our hard earned money to the pockets of the rich and famous... don't we?

She doesn't have to stay sober..there is nothing in the conditions of her house arrest that says she may not consume alcohol.

85. The problem is not that the Hilton family did all they could to get their daughter out of jail. Many other parents would have done the same. Paris is a wack job, but so are a lot of people. Such people ae best ignored.

The problem is that the Hilton family can do this at all. The fault lies with the justice system. The real problem is that two levels of justice exist in this country--espicially in LA. Look at OJ.
