King to Paris: Keep On Keeping On

Don King called in to the TMZ offices this morning, because he was "ecstatic" that Paris Hilton was a free woman! But really, who isn't?

The curiously tressed boxing promoter said that while he has never met Hilton, she is "what America is all about." King also said he is looking forward to seeing Paris, giving her a big hug and "telling her I love her."

The line forms to the left.

46. BOYCOTT everything associated with the HILTON name
BOYCOTT "the Simple Life"
BOYCOTT the sponsors of the "Simple Life"
BOYCOTT everything associated with this "wanna be back in the spotlight", ignorant Don KING - what a disgrace. Maybe a few of the very well respected black actors will put a bug in his ear - Hey Denzel, Will, Morgan - grab this old fart by the few wild gray hairs he has and tell him he needs to shut his pie hole.

WRITE/EMAIL/WRITE/EMAIL --- everyone involved with her early release - this is a travesty of justice - start with Arnold, all the way down the "hot dog" chain.

Every prisoner in any CA jail should protest this "preferential" treatment that Parasite received.

They need to ban together and file a class action suit against all involved with this injustice.

Parasite doesn't have to leave home to party, she'll just move the parties and media into her home!

I hated her before - but these wimpy, crybaby, antics just put the mustard on the hot dog!

47. maybe if she had killed someone, oh but maybe she would have got a slap on the wrist for that to, but if it was anyone else they would have received a couple of years for DUI. She should have served her time. Panic attacks please, so I guess the other prisoners should have those to and they can have house arrest.

48. Didn’t Paris say on the red carpet, pre-MTV awards that she was misunderstood by the public and said she had declined to go to a pay jail to show she was ready to accept her responsibility? Please, she whined about it the whole time and tried her best to get out of this from the start! Now she made up some bs excuse to spend her time at her mansion! What a piece of work! I hope SHE gets hit by a drunk driver when she gets off of her "house arrest".

49. Don King does not speak for most Black people. Hell, he stole so much money from Hispanic and Black boxers, that the Klan should burn a cross in his honor. But I wish he would explain to Paris that once you've sold your soul- there's no turning back.

54. This is what America is all about??!! A spoiled little rich girl with more money than smarts who became famous for being a party girl? I don't think so Don!! If she had an ounce of brains she'd hire a driver when she knows she's going to be drinking. Just charge the driver's fee to daddy's credit card like she's been doing all her life. She needs to find something meaningful to do with her life. Paris Hilton is just bored with her life. That's why she gets into so much trouble. She's had things handed to her all her life. Perhaps if she earned something on her own merit for once she'd be a more content and fulfilled individual. 'Cause all that drinking stems from some kind of discontentment in her life. Even rich people have to get bored with shopping at some point.

56. I think the whole I'm-having-a-nervous-breakdown-and-need-to-go-home thing was planned by her and her attorneys from the very beginning. It is good to know the rich have to pay a price just like everyone else. Though if it had been you and me, he would have thrown the book at us. It always cracked me up when I'd see Mama Cathy looking pissed behind the whole thing. But hey, she raised an alocholic, not the judge. She should have locked the liquor cabinet when Paris was a kid. Kudos to Arnold for telling them he had better things to be concerned about. Jay Leno and David Letterman will have a field day with this one.

57. I am quite positive Paris is not a danger to our society. Her blood alcohol content on the original charge and the driving was so minimal and the reason not irresponsible. I also believe she thought it okay to drive on the charge that put her in jail but don't think that even if she thought , as many, she could get away with it, that it deserved so long in isolation or in jail not isolated . One should not punish anyone of ANY color as they did her for what she did. It is not necessary or productive. She was not drunk when she was caught driving with a suspended license. I know many that drive under the influence, without licenses and with suspended licenses and never get caught or they do a lot worse but since are friends or friends of friends and no one will really know, they get off by these people in power. Paris on the other hand does not in any way, deserve isolation on top of it al. If the system can't provide her with a just environment to carry out her sentence, the sentence has to be changed. We have overcrowded jails and prisons where really bad people get out everyday due to overcrowding. I believe many people of all races, looks and accents and money or lack of money, no friends, rich friends, and anything else that sets people apart from one another or makes one disliked by others either justly or unjustly, have been given house arrest for a lot worse or even freedom. So, do we really want to go after people that aren't a threat to society and make them pay debts greater than necessary to say we are only being fair to the others with unjust sentences? NO! We want TO GIVE EVERYONE fair sentences, not just give a young white girl that grew up with more than most the cruelty many are wanting to keep things fair. What's fair about being unfair? In simple words, spend your time releasing those also unjustly jailed than screaming to jail one that doesn't need to be jailed and in conditions worse than others. Isolation is torture. Is torture warranted? NO! If so, we as a society are our own terrorists.
