Richard A. Hutton, attorney for Paris Hilton, today issued the following statement on behalf of Ms. Hilton:
"I want to thank the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and staff of the Century Regional Detention Center for treating me fairly and professionally. I am going to serve the remaining 40 days of my sentence. I have learned a great deal from this ordeal and hope that others have learned from my mistakes."

who cares what jail food is do the crime and do the time,,,,,unless your a hilto...richie,,,,loham
Paris learned a lesson sure-- how to lie, cheat and get around the system. Paris take your medicine like a big girl. You did the crime now do the time. How many of the 'dead presidents' did you have to give to the sheriff?
You BITCH...i hope you go back to jail and this time your exposed to everyone else...fake bitch.
I strongly agree with #14 Every Hilton Hotel everywhere should be boycotted! Yep, people all cver the world that stay in those Hilton Hotel's are actually paying our hard earned Dollars to that family, So they can continue to pay there way out of being responsible. Even people with money are angry about this special treatment Paris recieved. that's just toooooo much power! even Martha Steward would'nt have tried that! The Hilton's have gone too far this time and a good 30-day dip in the stock Market might just be the thing to cause them to remember exactly where all that cash flow they enjoy is comeing from.
It's often difficult being a parent. There's no real training for the job so we often struggle through it, trying to set a good example by giving examples of the good things about being an American. I was proud of the legal system when Paris Hilton--one of the worst examples for our children--was charged and taken to court for defying the law. It was rather hard to explain to my children why she was not handcuffed and led away after the trial. It was hard to explain why she got a reduced sentence before she even reported to jail. All that has happened since then has just left me speechless. My country truly disappoints me; from the White House, to the media, to the justice system. I can't find the words right now, it's simply overwhelming. It's all wrong and we need to fix it. Seriously.
I've learned the if your like Paris you can do what you like and get away with it. "3 DAYS" what a joke. proves that the law is there for the rich
Maybe there's hope after all.. Paris has been called back to the judge that sentenced her this friday.. IF reason prevails she'll end up back in the slammer again.
IF reason prevails that is..
I was so worried about Paris. I am so happy she has been released. Come on now everyone, do you really think she deserved to be locked up..no!!
I wonder when will some of the powerful men in America will get locked up.
All I can say is I am proud of Paris and I hope she is doing better health wise.
Love Her and Her sister too
Back to Jail and Triple her Sentance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
F*** PARIS!! SHE PROBABLY LEFT JAIL BECAUSE SHE HAS HERPES AND HAD A BREAKOUT WHICH SHE DIDNT WANT ANYONE TO SEE!!..SHE'S A WHORE!!!
Mr. & Mrs. Hilton,
Mrs. Hilton, you said "It's in God's hands now"......you know I believe God makes things happen for a reason. The way your daughter carries on with her life and how she portrays herself and her family is not good. I think this is God's way of telling her this is enough, take this as your wake-up call and straighten up. Sure hope your daughter listens very closely and cleans up her act. You know God doesn't always give second chances to those who take the first chance for granted.
I too could have said negative stuff but I am a mother and have a 20 yr old daughter, 19 yr old son and I would be devasted if this were us.....but the difference I wouldn't be in the limelight and more than likely 45 days wouldn't be an option, I'm thinking years would be the handed down choice.
