286. Unfortunately, Grey's has made a terrible mistake. Burke and Cristina were 2 of the more interesting characters. Actually T.R. Knight, his "wife" Callie and Kat Heigle can leave for all I care."Seriously", I'm not sure that I am as interested in Grey's anymore. Shonda Rhimes should be ashamed of herself.

287. What's really funny was Washington was upset all of the time on GA's set because every other actor wanted to show up late instead of on time. That's what set off his f comment. TR Knight came to the set ridiculously late and held everyone up. Honestly, in the work place or in school or life, if you work your butt off while everyone else slacks...you'd be pissed too. I also find it suspicious that Knight said NO ONE knew he was gay, not even his close friends or family, so how would have Washington knew? Sounds like he was saying a "Bad word" which a lot of people do when they are upset and Knight milked it for all it was worth because his character was utterly useless. Shonda only started writing him in with meaningful parts after Washington's situation hit the press.....sounds like Shonda and ABC knew Washington was going to be let go.

289. Gays are an extremely small proportion of the population yet a vocal one...so how is it that they get to smear the African American actor & no one stands up for him, including the African American creator of the show, S. Rhimes?

That's Sad.

Heigl & TR don't have onscreen chemistry & aren't talented; neither is Pompei or whatever her name is. Now 2 of the more interesting & exceedingly more talented actors will be out of the show...Washington & the redhead "Dr. Shepard".

There goes the show, for me & mine. Thanks for ruining what was a decent storyline, vocal minority gays. Think I'll watch the CW channel instead.

The best actor from the show is gone and we are left with the wimpy TR Knight,and his character george also a wimp and the intolerant Heigl and and her annoying character,the rest who act holier than thou cast. It is doubtful if the show can continue the quality from the first season. the real person who should have been fired, is the one who released the original information to the press, not washington.

292. Washington keeps dancing around the alleged incident when we all heard him say it on the Golden Globe Awards. His Q and A with eonline was rediculous. It was so carefully worded you could tell his publicist had written the answers. Lots of talk, no info. Where's the beef. For those straight people reading this board, wherever your sympathies lie I want you to know that as a 50 year old gay man, I never dreamed in my lifettime that the public would support the firing of a homophobic guy. I feel very touched, this means so much to me. We can make the world a better place (I had cornflakes for breakfast) but seriously, this feels great!

295. First of all TMZ should be sued for allowing all of these racist comments on here. What Isiah did was wrong, but him saying the F-word has no comparison to the N-word. How many Gay people were lynched for being gay? None. How many Gay people were enslaved for over 400 years? None. How many Gay people were forced to go to the back door and sit in segregated areas? None. Denied service, Education, Employment over being the hired help? The list goes on. There is just no comparison. Isiah being fired has nothing to do with racism. For goodness sake the creator of the show is Black. It's wrong to call anyone anything but the name that they were given. As far as Black people sitting on their asses and thinking of the past as one person put it, let's me know that A lot of folks out there do not actually know Black people. Most of us work, have jobs and are educated. But with all of the stereotypical images out there who can blame you for not knowing the truth. I will miss Isiah, but Isiah is talented and he will move on.Justice was served. Also people should leave his wife out of their comments. Just because she is sporting a natural, does not make her less attractive. She is Beautiful and to the person that said what they said about her that was just uncalled for.

296. Personally I am glad he got fired. We all have a right to our opinions and as a gay person I prefer knowing who my enemies are I did not expect nor require that he leave the show. However I have the right to refuse to watch shows with individuals who are known to show disdain for gay persons. I also have the right to spend my "gay" dollars where I wish and it was certainly not with sponsors of Grey's Anatomy. Perhaps I will actually watch the show now. And as for all those out there that want to make this a "Gay" issue such as the writer of comment number 41. This is not a gay or straight issue this is an issue of human respect. You are entitled to your opinion but I do not have to like it nor in any way support it. Gay men and women understand the power of your vote, your word and your money !!!

I am so pleased that he was terminated from the show. His arrogance and his superior attitude is truly more offensive than his personal attack and outing of a fellow cast member. Hopefully he is washed up!
