The fact of the matter is - yes the punishment is harsh for the crime, however Paris blatantly disregards the law - AND NO ONE that I know has ever been able to CALL IN to court - and who the hell wouldn't be in mental anguish in jail - why don't we let everyone out because I'm sure they are having a hard time too - bascially it's this - she shouldn't be allowed to skirt the law just because she has money, fame a sex tape - whatever - this is not a healthy message to send the public. LA already has a bad rap for it's police force and their actions and this just proves it to be true - if your are RICH and can pay someone enough you can get away with MURDER.

138. Hey all you big mouths out there -- don't blame California for Paris' misbehavior.
Put the blame where it belongs -- on her parents. She's a spoiled brat, has never been told no, and doesn't know what responsibility means.
Why is she popular anyway? Shes not pretty (what's up with the hook at the end of her nose and those beady eyes?!), ahhh but she is a porn queen. No wonder all the boys like her so much.

This has nothing to do with keeping Paris "safe" -- she was safe for 3 days in jail, she was safe all day yesterday, and how much safer can you get with a police escort? And why should she be protected at tax payer cost? Nobody wants to hurt her, they just want to do her. As for posting pics of sex offenders -- I don't know where you live, but in California there are several sites with beautiful color photos of every registered sex offender in the state. What are you anyway...........a 16 yr. old Paris groupie?

140. how many first time DUI's get 20 plus days in jail? i know a guy who got 3 dui's before he went away for a month......and why do you all care so much what she does? you should be worried about gas prices and nuking iran WAY ahead of where paris sleeps at night.
