Dog and Beth to Paris Haters -- You're Full of It!

You might think that Dog and Beth Chapman -- the toughest, hardest bounty hunters around -- might take a tough stance against Paris Hilton's early release. Think again!
Dog and Beth Chapman support Paris
The Chapmans, who spoke exclusively to TMZ late last night, have both spent a little time in jails themselves and think that Paris has already been punished enough for what they call a "traffic offense" -- and they have just one question for all those outraged observers: Have you ever spent even an hour in jail?

Dog, star of A&E's "Dog the Bounty Hunter," says he gave serious thought to making a very unusual plea to the judge in Paris' case after hearing of the 45-day sentence. "I was going to offer to do the 45 days for her," he says. "And if anyone hates jail, my brother, it's Dog Chapman." Dog's prescription for punishing Paris? Putting Paris under "Dog Arrest" and having Beth give Paris a stern talking-to about drinking, driving and life.

Beth tells us that in her 20 years in the bail bonds biz, she's never seen anyone who committed Paris' crime -- which she calls essentially a "traffic offense" -- get such a stiff sentence. "That L.A. City Attorney [Rocky Delgadillo] is a joke. Three days in isolation for a person like Paris is more than enough. What you can't do is waste taxpayer money so a bunch of people can get their rocks off."

301. Sami, I do not know where you live, but in most states there is jail time for such offenses. And please tell all of us where you read that Paris had no idea her license was suspended? That is automatic with the offense of being pulled over for DUI, Paris had signed an understanding of such prior to her being pulled over the most recent time. How many chances does one need before a wake up call or before more damage is done to herself or others? I think 3 times is quite sufficient, where Beth and Dog only claim to be ‘second chance’ people. Yes, people do get probation violations all the time, and it is about damn time that they pay the REAL price of it too, jail time. I am sure some of them would maybe think before doing such again in the future. All those you speak of in your post should do time as well, break the law, do the time.. it is an easy answer.
Of course no one would be talking about this if was you or I, but we are not well known, a mighty price the rich and famous pay and I think Paris was driving on a suspended license the same reason anyone else would, because they would think they are above the law, a short lived sentence that most find out when they are caught in the act of a crime. Paris was given a warning and was pulled over yet again for the same offense, something else obviously needs to be done for her to get the message, hence jail time. And how do you come to the conclusion that Paris doing 3 days is like 300 to her? Why should it mean diferent to anyone because of their financial worth or fame?
Answer this please someone, if Paris can have a driver to take her to and from court and jail, why does she not have a driver when most needed, when she is under the influence of alcohol? And Sami, Drunk Driving is more than just a “mistake”, it could kill.
I am not a hater of Paris Hilton at all, but I do feel if the rich and famous commit such offenses and can pay their way out of it, it sends a terrible message to our children and others. The laws are there for ALL to follow and judges and attorneys should not have opportunity to pick and choose who serves the time and it should not be based on who they are, or how much they are worth either.
And oh well Jail is not meant to be a ‘nice’ place, it is awful, as I am sure, but maybe so no one would want to return. I mean should we really imagine Jail as being ‘like home’, all comfy and cozy with 5 star food and board?? No, get real.
The only reason this is being hashed out so much is that Beth had to open her big mouth AGAIN and get something started, Beth you drama queen!!
As I stated earlier, Paris do your time and move on the best you can, there is no reason you need to be FIXED by Beth nor supported by her, she is using your fame and wealth to get into the press or get support from your family on their legal issues, and that is the real shame.

302. ITA! It's about "fairness" of the "law" not whether or not you like her! Dog rocks!

303. Dog & Beth,

You low on money? No big busts lately? I hope you're not back on drugs, just trying to milk the publicity on this pathtic nut case.

If I remember correcly Dog, your daughter died (was very sorry to read about that) right around your wedding day - she ived in Alaska! She was killed in a car accident - cause of death - DRUNK DRIVING!

Paris Hilton's original offense - DUI. She thumbed her nose at our judicial system over and over. And you will do the time for her?

Sorry - I've lost all respect for you and your family of so called "born again do gooders. Looks like a little bit of fame turned you into just another money grubbing worm.

305. For everyone that thinks that driving after rev is no big deal then why is it my husband sat 90 days in jail for it. Why is it ok that he had to sit 90 days and miss thing only gets 3 days? We had a 1 year old and the reason he was driving was to get me to the hospital because I was preg with my second child. The whole reason he was revoked was for speeding several times not diving drunk. Now tell me she's not getting special treatment.

306. What we are forgetting is Paris is not in jail for the DUI. She broke her probation. I am a probation officer and I have seen people do far more time then this for breaking the rules of their probation. When she got the DUI she was told she could not drive... she took it as a joke and drove anyway. Just because she SAYS she didn't know she could not drive is not an excuse. She broke the law with the DUI and was placed on probation... that was her 2nd chance. She then broke the rules of her probation and THAT is why she is in jail! She is LUCKY all she got was 45 days for breaking probation.. I have seen people get a year!

307. Okay, who died and made Harve Levin God? Just watched him & Atty Tom Mesereau (now there's a "winner" for ya) on Anderson Cooper 360. They are both taking the judge to task (Harvey calls the judge a jerk) and say the Sheriff should be able to release who ever he wants. Boy, that makes me feel good about our justice system-- the courts can issue a verdict & a sentence, but the Sheriff can then decide whatever he wants???
This little spoiled self absorbed tramp, Hilton, just doesn't want to serve her time, period. I'd be willing to bet BIG money that if she's released, her 'medical condition' will miraculously go away overnight-- or for sure by the next big boozy party. I'm still waiting for her to enroll in the alcohol education program that was part of her original probation terms back in about March? She has thumbed her nose at every single thing the courts asked of her.
I suspect if she'd enrolled in the course & at her revocation hearing had said "Judge, I'm sorry I'm such a screw up & I'm going to take responsibility & try to be better" that there's a good chance he would have given her another shot. But NO, little miss hot shot just keeps thinking her poop don't stink and she can do whatever the h--- she wants.
Her parents (and I use that term loosely) were obviously the absolute worst at instilling any kind of decent values in this skanky little twit. They should share the blame for the pathetic waste of time their daughter has turned out to be. Paris should be p---ed at them for being such useless nothings in bringing her up. Their entire family is a pathetic joke. (And did you see those gaudy Gucci sunglasses her Mom wore to court! Oh my God, the Gucci line should be embarrassed-- both of the glasses & the fact that they were seen on Kathy Hilton.)

308. I'd forgotten about this until a friend just reminded me--- if you watch The Dog show, you know that last year he & Beth FINALLY got married (3 or 4 kids after the fact) in a big splashy hokey ceremony over on the Big Island at..... the HILTON Waikoloa Village. Evidently the Hilton comped everything in exchange for the TV time. So maybe the Hilton family called in a marker here???

Ironic thing-- if Beth had ANY idea all the comments Hilton employees made about her after their wedding, she would flip out. To paraphrase, people that work there said she was the rudest, rauchiest, dirtiest, most disgusting fat pig pain in the ass they had ever encountered. I think they left the fat pig part out when describing Dog though.
They did say Leland, Duane Lee, & Tim were nice however.

309. Teach "PARIS" A lesson. Keep her locked up the FULL 45 !! She got behind the wheel while intoxicated ? well ? what do you think should have happened to her ? Spank her "BUTT" and say naughty girl and let her go home ? I DON'T THINK SO !!!!!!! Driving while intoxicated is a felony in anyone's book , why not in hers ? So she is a foxx , so what if she is rich !!!! The Rich and Famous are NOT ABOVE THE LAW !!!!

When she gets out of jail , make her pay a fine , court costs and for her time in jail. THEN turn her over to BETH the Bitch for a good talking to . Take her license for (6) months and make her go to driving school and not in Los Angeles , send her to NEW YORK where she can really learn not to drink and drive. Then take her to a morgue and let her see the victims of drunk drivers.

Take a lesson "PARIS" get off the booze and DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE !!!

312. Are these people for real? DUI is not a minor traffic offense!!! In fact, I am a teacher and I would lose my teaching license immediately if I were to receive a dui conviction. Not only is it bad that she got a dui but she got another dui WHILE ON PROBATION FOR THE SAME CRIME. No state’s law enforcement takes this lightly. As for tax payers money being wasted that is a joke. I am sure the family members of people lost to drunk driving accidents don't think it's a waste of money.

313. nighthunter...she was driving with a suspended license while on probation for DUI. DUI is a very serious charge. Do you have any idea how many people die at the hands of drunk drivers. More people are killed every year by drunk drivers than by guns. I bet you are an anti-gun person aren't you. Yet it's ok for this bimbo to drive a 2000 lb car intoxicated...you need to get a life you psychophant!

314. Enough with the Paris Hilton persecution already.

315. In response to:
"139. This is a farce! She should have never been given 23 days when the statute said 45. She (Paris Hilton) should be locked up now for 90 days. I am not proud to say I was caught 14 years ago for DUI in the State of WI. It was my third and plead no contest. I was given 30 days that was reduced to 23. And I had a Doctors Note too. It didn't matter to the Judge. And to this day I cannot get a D/L because I did't go to 1 more hour of traffic school. This is stuff you can't make up. Paris belongs doing her time in jail not at her mansion.

Christ, are you really as stupid as you sound? If you are, you don't need a driver's license...and this has nothing to do with your comments about the Hilton Ho, it's all about you.
