Dog and Beth to Paris Haters -- You're Full of It!

You might think that Dog and Beth Chapman -- the toughest, hardest bounty hunters around -- might take a tough stance against Paris Hilton's early release. Think again!
Dog and Beth Chapman support Paris
The Chapmans, who spoke exclusively to TMZ late last night, have both spent a little time in jails themselves and think that Paris has already been punished enough for what they call a "traffic offense" -- and they have just one question for all those outraged observers: Have you ever spent even an hour in jail?

Dog, star of A&E's "Dog the Bounty Hunter," says he gave serious thought to making a very unusual plea to the judge in Paris' case after hearing of the 45-day sentence. "I was going to offer to do the 45 days for her," he says. "And if anyone hates jail, my brother, it's Dog Chapman." Dog's prescription for punishing Paris? Putting Paris under "Dog Arrest" and having Beth give Paris a stern talking-to about drinking, driving and life.

Beth tells us that in her 20 years in the bail bonds biz, she's never seen anyone who committed Paris' crime -- which she calls essentially a "traffic offense" -- get such a stiff sentence. "That L.A. City Attorney [Rocky Delgadillo] is a joke. Three days in isolation for a person like Paris is more than enough. What you can't do is waste taxpayer money so a bunch of people can get their rocks off."

46. Hey Dog, IF YOU CAN'T DO THE TME, DON'T DO THE CRIME. (unless you are rich and famous) You and your 800 pound pot belly pig wife need to go back to Puerto Vallerta and serve your time for Kidnapping. Better yet, go back and finish up the time on your murder conviction. Oh, I almost forgot. You got out of prison by ratting out your biker crime partners. Between you and George W. Bush, it's no wonder America is the laughing stock of the world.

48. Don't you get it! Paris was not in jail for DUI, the reason is for, "Violation of her probation."

49. You all make me laugh...Let me guess not one of you have EVER had a drink and drove right, and not one of you have ever broken the law right? If you say know your a damn liar... THere are 100's of people in america that drive after a couple drinks and even more that drive without a license. They are trying to make an example out of her and its stupid. Why don't they worry about the drug dealers and murders and leave that girl alone. Damn! No I don't think drinking and driving is right but people get away with it everyday. You all what to bash her like you know her oh she has herpes... and you know how a rumor can start anywhere... And 99% of you if she was standing right in front of you wouldnt be saying these things you'd be kissing her ass.. So before you start critizing other people make sure ur hands are clean.

50. It drives me nuts when people say she went to jail for a "traffic offense". This totally misses the point and employs sarcasm to further disguise the real crime. The actual traffic offense took place when she was arrested for a DUI -- a crime that those who have lost a loved one to a drunk driver would argue deserves a much more serious punishment than 36 month of suspended license.

The crime that she went to jail for was ignoring the suspension, thereby making a mockery of the law and the very justice system that we ALL depend on for our safety and (so-called) civilized society. If you want to argue that the punishment for ignoring the law was too stiff or too light, fine, but your argument has absolutely no weight if you can't logically order your facts.

51. Dog is going to a hard core Mexican prison. They just want the publicity an Paris fans to join their pity party.

They support drunk driving? Then good riddance to ya Dog. Society is better off without you!!!

52. DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT WE CARE ABOUT HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT PARIS? WE COULD GIVE A FLYING F**K.

53. Dog, you and Beth do not need to stick your noses in this unless you support DRUNK DRIVING, I just lost any interest in your career such as it is. You guys are just money making hillbillies. Paris Hilton should do her time.
Adios,
Michael.

54. Dog and Beth, sorry to see you have this opinion. Dog if I was you, I would worry about the LAWS YOU broke in Mexico. Your motives were right....your actions were UNLAWFUL. Take care of yourself and let LA worry about Paris. A DUI is NOT JUST a traffic violation...geeez.

55. Ummm lets see, Dog & Beth get your S**t straight. You pick up people every day for breaking the law. They dont do what the judge says (show up at court) you go get them. Bottom line, Paris broke the law over and over and bragged about it, she posed for pictures getting out of her car when she wasnt suppose to be driving. I guess Paris will have to hurt/kill someone before the celebrities get it. Or better yet, the next time she does it.. call Dog & Beth and let them put their money up to be responsible for her. Dog, worry about your own problems with Mexico.

57. WOW...

ALL THREE OF THESE PEOPLE PUT TOGETHER HAVE THE EDUCATION OF A THIRD GRADER! WHO CARES ABOUT SOME TRAILER MUTT WHO CALLS HIMSELF "DOG" THINKS? TRAFFIC OFFENSE? IT'S A PROBATION VIOLATION!

Posted at 10:47AM on Jun 8th 2007 by ILUVSPRINGBREAK

58. #49 you are an idiot. Of course we have all broken the law, either by speeding, drinking and driving, or maybe even worse. The difference here is that most of us DIDNT GET CAUGHT AND PLACED ON PROBATION!!!! Oh, and just for your information, when I got a real job and was subject to drug screens, I have never touched any illegal substances because I know there is a consequence for the action. People like you and Paris think that rules dont apply and dont seem to be able to CHANGE YOUR BEHAVIOR. Now...go back to the trailer park, asswipe!

59. Ridiculous.

I agree with many of the posters; Dog and Beth should have stayed out of it, DUIs/ probation violations are not minor offenses, the fraudulent war should end, sheriffs shouldn't be able to overturn judges' rulings and socialites/celebs should do their damn sentences.

60. Dog and Beth Chapman are they still around? Talk about a couple of washed up has-beens. Dog is thinking hmm... no one watches my show anymore and no one really cares when I make the paper how about I steel some publicity from someone famous. Who knows maybe I can get Paris to special guest on my show that'll boost ratings!

With this much attention over Paris you have to expect a few cockroaches to come out from under their rocks. And there will be more!!!
