Dog and Beth to Paris Haters -- You're Full of It!

You might think that Dog and Beth Chapman -- the toughest, hardest bounty hunters around -- might take a tough stance against Paris Hilton's early release. Think again!
Dog and Beth Chapman support Paris
The Chapmans, who spoke exclusively to TMZ late last night, have both spent a little time in jails themselves and think that Paris has already been punished enough for what they call a "traffic offense" -- and they have just one question for all those outraged observers: Have you ever spent even an hour in jail?

Dog, star of A&E's "Dog the Bounty Hunter," says he gave serious thought to making a very unusual plea to the judge in Paris' case after hearing of the 45-day sentence. "I was going to offer to do the 45 days for her," he says. "And if anyone hates jail, my brother, it's Dog Chapman." Dog's prescription for punishing Paris? Putting Paris under "Dog Arrest" and having Beth give Paris a stern talking-to about drinking, driving and life.

Beth tells us that in her 20 years in the bail bonds biz, she's never seen anyone who committed Paris' crime -- which she calls essentially a "traffic offense" -- get such a stiff sentence. "That L.A. City Attorney [Rocky Delgadillo] is a joke. Three days in isolation for a person like Paris is more than enough. What you can't do is waste taxpayer money so a bunch of people can get their rocks off."

61. This is the same "Dog" that will take his rag tag group of misfits, kick down doors, break how many traffic laws, harass innocent people - and the guy they are loking for has a $50 Dollar J -alking Warrant! What a PUTZ

62. I have to agree, stop wasting money, put her on house arrest (which will still be more than punishment for a person like her - she can't be out drinking and driving if she is confined to the house), and save the jail space for the "real" criminals!

65. Seriously folks, she's not going to jail for a DUI. She got probation for her DUI, and then she violated it by driving on a suspended license and being involved in a hit-and-run accident. She's being treated fairly by the law even if she is being made an example. She obviously has the best lawyers money can buy but they can't buy her out of all the trouble in the world. She needs to take responsibility for her actions and get her skinny butt back to jail like normal people would.

P.S. Having been to jail myself, I have NO sympathy for her.

66. Wow you go Dog, I love his show and love the whole Chapman family, I do not agree that Paris should not serve any jail time but I think 45 day's is a bit to much. It was a probation violation so where is her PO in all of this? I was on prbation myself once and my PO would of thrown my ass in the slammer had I violated the rule's at all so instead of being angry at Paris or Dog and Beth why don't you direct that anger toward's her PO who has suddenly gone behind the scene's.

67. I thought that I read somewhere that Dogs oldest daughter was killed by a drunk driver. If that's the case, I can't figure out why they would take someone getting a DUI so lightly. Either they're idiots or I was misinformed about his daughter.

68. Well I just lost respect for mad dog and his wife. A traffic
violation?.......she was caught driving with a suspended license and
being intoxicated while on probation! Yes that is time in the slammer
for anyone, but the feeble, infantile Paris Hilton. What should the
judge do?....jail was the only option he had left and jail is where
she belongs, it was only 23 days which I thought was very lienient.
Here in CT if you're caught driving with a suspended license while on
probation it's 90 days mandatory, never mind driving under the
influence. Mad dog should stick to what he knows, which is
?........oh yeah, wrestling crack heads in Hawaii.

69. A 16 year old received 20 days in jail for truancy for which he was put on probation. He violated probation twice, thus 10 days each offence + 20 days. Truancy does not endanger any lives. We have a man, repeat offender, who was driving drunk and hit a car with 2 teenagers in it, killing both of them. Drunk driving endangers lives. Just because Ms. Hilton is alive but doesn't know what to do with her life does not give her the privilege of endangering anyone or even an animal, which she seems to love so much. Paris needs to find a purpose in her life and take the responsibility for her actions and make them work to make society safer. She has contributed nothing and if the press would ignore her and her kind, maybe they would realize that they are jokes, dangerous jokes.

70. yeah, I would be on her side too if I could get something out of it. I swear all these "support paris" people probably want to kiss as much as as they can, so later they can use it aginst her when they want a nice donation or $omething.

72. dog and beth i love you guys i have written everyone i can think of to try and help you with your issue but your way off base here! paris is not in jail for a traffic violation she is in jail because she is an arrogant disrespectful spoiled brat. she was caught not once but twice driving without a license and thats only the times she was caught, she never took her alcohol ed classes even though she had plenty of time to do so. this girls ego is so big she BELIEVES she can do what she wants, you people are not doing her any favor buying into that because it's not true. so please don't say she was ONLY in jail for a traffic violation it's sooo much more than that.

73. Traffic offense??? Give me a break. This is far more serious than just running a stop sign or going a bit too fast.
