Dog and Beth to Paris Haters -- You're Full of It!

You might think that Dog and Beth Chapman -- the toughest, hardest bounty hunters around -- might take a tough stance against Paris Hilton's early release. Think again!
Dog and Beth Chapman support Paris
The Chapmans, who spoke exclusively to TMZ late last night, have both spent a little time in jails themselves and think that Paris has already been punished enough for what they call a "traffic offense" -- and they have just one question for all those outraged observers: Have you ever spent even an hour in jail?

Dog, star of A&E's "Dog the Bounty Hunter," says he gave serious thought to making a very unusual plea to the judge in Paris' case after hearing of the 45-day sentence. "I was going to offer to do the 45 days for her," he says. "And if anyone hates jail, my brother, it's Dog Chapman." Dog's prescription for punishing Paris? Putting Paris under "Dog Arrest" and having Beth give Paris a stern talking-to about drinking, driving and life.

Beth tells us that in her 20 years in the bail bonds biz, she's never seen anyone who committed Paris' crime -- which she calls essentially a "traffic offense" -- get such a stiff sentence. "That L.A. City Attorney [Rocky Delgadillo] is a joke. Three days in isolation for a person like Paris is more than enough. What you can't do is waste taxpayer money so a bunch of people can get their rocks off."

91. I guess these two meth-heads figure bad publicity is better than none at all! I tried to watch the Bounty Hunter twice, and both times I yelled "TAKE A BATH, DAMMIT" at the television. Dimwit and Wifey are trying to appeal to the lower income folks who have had hard times. In other words, the polar opposite of Paris. Sympathy? Plueeze!

92. Hey all you idiots, Paris is NOT in jail for a DUI. That already happened, that's why her license was suspended in the first place. THe reason she is in jail is for a probation violation on a traffic violation. Yes I would consider driving on a suspended license a traffic violation NOT a DUI. Get your facts straight. Now with that being said, I have to finish by saying that I don't like Paris, but I think that most the bloggers on TMZ are a bunch of half wits. I bet all you stupid assholes that are pissed she got out of jail early are the same people that got pissed at Sarah Silverman's comments, and the same ones that were ECSTATIC that Paris got jail time. So which is it? You seem to want to call fowl at EVERYTHING, and that it virtually has nothing to do really with Paris Hilton, and more to do with just being a naysayer 100% of the time. Now be realistic, how many people you know that have gotten 23 days in county for driving on a suspended license? I don't know ANYBODY that has gotten a DUI, got caught driving on a suspended, and sentenced to jail for it. Maybe fined heafty but not jailed.

She served time and we all know it was hard on someone that's her type to serve in jail. Now why doesn't everyone just let Paris be and see if she had learned anything from this, if she starts turning all her old tricks, well there you go, now be pissed. Holy hell the people that live in this country now a days, I swear.............................

93. "A minor traffic offense"????? Are you freaking kidding me. Until you've had little cousin, who was 7 years old, and was killed by a drunk driver, on CHRISTMAS DAY, you cannot make light of a DUI charge for ANYONE!!!!!!
Come on Paris, do the time without the WHINE!!!!!!!!

96. I'm certainly glad to hear someone else expressing what I've been saying all along.
The laws here in Missouri mandate a 48 hours jail sentence for driving while suspended or revoked. I think Paris has had a real rude awakening, but I think the time she served was sufficient for the violation.

97. I lived out in LA for five years. I sold a car to a guy that never did take the title to the DMV and change it into his own name. I got five warrants in the mail for his parking tickets from all different cities. I ignored them. I was busy.

On the Friday night before Memorial day, I got stopped for speeding. I had five warrants and they took me right to jail. I had to wait until Tuesday to go to the first court and on and on. The last court was on the next Monday. I was in jail eleven days. What I learned was, like dogs, all we humans smell alike, and never to ignore a warrant. I haven't been to jail since. I was in Sybil Brand and they played Blues on the radio. The Blues made it even worse. Oh, yeah. Never look anybody in the eye.

101. So if we all took the stance Dog does (and I love the guy) then we all can drive drunk and maybe kill someone in the process. Why is everyone saying she got a harsh sentence? She drove drunk. A DUI. Look what happened to that Prison Break actor. Does she want to wait until she kills someeone. Then Paris proceeeds to think she's all that and drives again, pulling the dumb blonde statement of she didn't read that paper not to drive. Hello was she not in court, did her lawyer not explain that having your license suspended means don't drive? Nope she drove anyway. Came to court late for her hearing and now is crying a river, having an anxiety attack so she gets to go home and eat cupcakes and stay in that beautiful house for 40 days, 39 now. All of us normal folks would still be in jail, anxiety attacks or not. It's not ilke there aren't doctors there. This whole thing makes me sick. And to release a statement she hopes we can learn from her mistakes. What do you want us to learn that you have a sugar daddy to make things all better. You did the crime do the time. So over this. She's famous for what?

102. I've always thought that Dog and Beth were pretty cool, but they've either lost their minds on this one or they're just looking to cash in a little on all of the Paris hype.

As someone who has lost a sister due to a drunk driver, it infuriates me when people act as if drunk driving is no big deal.

103. Actually, in Nevada, if you're caught driving with a suspended license even ONCE, you go to jail for a MANDATORY 30 days. But, this is LA, laws are different in every state. And, I don't think Beth and Dog have ever worked in Cali. have they?

104. Saving an innocent persons life by locking up a drunk driver who chose to get behind the wheel while their license is suspended and while they're intoxicated and on probation seems like a good use of taxpayers money to me. Why should innocent peoples lives be put at risk to a ding bat who doesn't even know what a suspended license means? The sperm that was used to create Paris Hilton is a waste, not the money to lock her up....lets get this straight!
