first of all i don't have a car and have never driven nor do my son or daughter. i don't believe in cars and was brought up in canada without one. i know all about being poor and doing without. that doesn't mean that i am cruel enough to condemn someone for having to live their life in the media spotlight. my ex-husband was an alcoholic so i can also play the cry-me-a-river game. the law says, in california, that her offense is not served in jail. if mark geragos doesn't know the facts than i'm quite certain you don't.

I am not a fan of Paris-- however that video is absolutly sick, its aweful that we live in a society that can make a huma being so "important" just to watch the down fall...I do belive she should serve her sentence-- but could you imagine the media frenzy? it absolutly terrible, but i suppose she is a celebrity, and thats what happens, but i do feel for her and her family, my prayers to them

275. Does Paris still live with Mom and Dad? And why have they just shown up now? Really where have they been the first 20 some years of her life to give direction and rules,and how to act in public. This goes for all the parents of the spoiled elite or so they think. A parent should be a parent and not a friend. Get a grip spoiled childern you will be next.

278. Diana you are so right and I am wrong. She was raised by a Nanny more than likely as mommy and daddy jetted around having their childhood fulfilled and forgetting they had children. Unfortunately she followed their lead and not anything instilled by a well meaning person the nanny, if she was well meaning. For her it is a simple life for us it is a struggle. This 45 day jail time in poshville will simply instill the privledge she feels she is owed.
Mother and Father just show up for that show, I should not have even called them Mom and Dad because Mom's and Dad's are a better class of people than Mothers and Fathers.

280. Maybe she can't function without the pole in her cell. A real waste of time and a real call for birth control, this hilton miss. Who does she really think she is? Trash with green. No talent, no looks, no societal contribution. Poor little rich girl. She surely has shown us all who she in from her red carpet comments, huh? After this, a stint in the mental ward or detox center might be nice and then off to the front lines of Iraq or Afghanistan where the real humans of merit and worth are. Any American would take 100 of them over 1/4 of her. Her closet is bigger than most apartments of hard working decent Americans and she has the nerve to grip about paying her dues. Send her to the 9th ward in Lousiania and send those poor souls to the mansion for some rest and relaxation. 24 plus years of waste! Send her mammy and pappy with her. 283. I was all the pink balloons outside her mansion and not one yellow ribbon. She probably does not even know fine upstanding men and women who had real parents are dying for freedom every day.
