The lawyers can't file a writ of Habeas Corpus, a writ alleging that an individual has been unlawfully detained because thanks to people not paying attention, the Military Comissions Act of 2006 suspends Habeas Corpus for EVERYONE.

PARIS HILTON has dropped the appeal she was filing in regards to her 45-day jail sentence. ET has obtained the papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court by her attorneys Thursday, which "abandons" any appeal.

Ok i posted earlier as joe but i do have to say im quite shocked at how ppl think she is gettin a raw deal i mean what if it had been you gettin into an accident with her beeing the driver of the other car and you lost a limb life of a loved one you wouldnt be sticking up for her as for the real life i found that show kinda dumb i mean she gave meaning to dumb blonde i aint never seen a blonde be dumb till then besides her beeing a sweet natured person well lets see my definition of that would be someone that dont care about looks of others and are there friend all the way i find that hard to believe she would read a book instead of judging it by its cover and im sorry she has become a book for everyone to read and the judge saw right passed the prelogue and read the entire contents we need more judges like him after spending time in a lake of the ozarks jail and seein that everyone was treated just the same as everyone else i was in jail with bussisness owners and sport fishermans you would see on the outdoors channel in jail and guess what there was no such thing as overcrowding in that jail if the bunks were full you got a matt still but slept on the floor and what else i dont get is the fact that they say over crowding what happened to that one sherriff who said he would be more then happy to take her into tent city to serve her time why she is gettin out early i think it all has to do with her fame and all the jails i been in its highly unlikely unless you go to prison to run into lesbian bitches wanting to get it on with another woman and i do know they do segregate the women from violent to non violent cause thats federal to do that just like they do us men now are we all done feeling sorry for her i mean sheesh i think she is hella hot and all but why should she be any different from the rest of us we are all human we all make mistakes and some point or another we have to pay for them just fortunatly she is not in there awaiting trial for someone she had killed in her negligience she should be thankful for that and be thankful she is alive and well and a cop had caught her before she hurt someone.

387. How sad this whole story is! Here is a girl that could be doing so much to help humanity and leaving a legacy of love and caring, but instead she decides to live her life day to day not caring for anything or anybody except herself. What a waste. Her parents must be proud of her and the great job they did bringing her up.
I wonder how many people died in Iraq while this spoiled brat is calling for her mommy.
