My wife and I have talked about this and when she was first incarcerated both of us felt that even 23 days was pretty harsh and that she was taking her punishment with dignity.
Then she used her money an families influence to try and skirt the law and unequal justice and that is totally and unacceptable to my wife and I.
Obviously she's a spoiled child that has never been forced to be held accountable for her actions. Welcome to the real world kid but can you call a 26 yo. woman a kid. So welcome to you put lifes in danger by not once but multiple times driving under the influence you pay a REAL price......so while 45 days is harsh you deserve it now!
Paris is at her NEW HOTEL HILTON......... JAIL.............. LOHAN SHOULD BE NEXT IN LINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Going to the jail is a bad experience for sure, and I don't wish that to anybody. However,
Paris Hilton got no more and no less time to serve than anyone else for violating her probation..
I know jail isn't the greatest place to be, since a good friend of mine from Texas is currently in, but she has to deal with it like any other inmate.

I am sick and tired of all the commotion and sensation generated by Paris Hilton's refusal to comply with even a watered down version of the laws that the rest of us must comply with.
There are plenty of wealthy people in the world who do not behave in this manner. Further, I do not understand how inheriting money that someone else worked for, makes Paris special. She has accomplished nothing productive in her lifetime. She has no academic credits, she has never set foot in a university, she has never held a job, she has demonstrated no altruistic or philanthropic qualities, and to my knowledge, has never had a a role as wife or mother. I can find no evidence that she has contributed to the world in any way. Well, maybe her shoping sprees are good for the economy.
I cannot fathom any rationale, real or perceived, why this person believes she is above the law. The entire sequence of events leading to her incarceration is a joke. Originally, whe wasn't even charged with a DUI, simply reckless driving. She got special treatment there and it continued on. She completely ignored the terms of her probation, by continuing to drink, refusing to attend alcohol classes, and driving with a suspended license. The lovely Paris was ticketed a second time, in fact, for driving with a suspended license. Now, anybody else would have been jailed upon the first DWSL, if not DEFINITELY on the second offense. Did I forget to mention that all of these events constituted a violation of probation (VOP)? Anyone else would most definitely have been sentenced to jail in that circumstance.
I continue to be amazed as she is given only 45 days for all these infractions and violations. The next day the sentence is reduced to 23 days. Imagine my surprise when young Paris whines that she is being punished more severely because she is famous.(I continue to wonder what she is famous for). THEN, that spineless, ignorant sheriff totally ignores a judge's order and released her after 3 days, and tried to give her credit for 5 days, but, alas, we can all count. The sheriff continues to speak (embarrassing us all) and insists that Paris required (WHY????) a solitary cell while in custody. Someone should really explain to Paris what life among her peers/cellmates is like. Confinement is a luxury, a reprieve from all the constant noise, fighting, and general hell-raising tht goes on in the general population. Not to mention many indignities, such as using the toilet in front of everyone. This imbecile of a sheriff goes on to explain that Paris was discharged in the same fashion any one else would have be, via time off for good behavior and a 10% reduction of sentence due to jail overcrowding. IN JUST 3 DAYS she's accumulated all of this?! To make matters worse, Paris gets credit for the "time served" while she was on house arrest at her mansion, with endless amenities. My brain can hardly process any more insane information when I discover that Paris ignored a court order to appear before a very irate judge. She had the audacity to state that she thought a phone call would be more appropriate. Are you kidding me!!!!!!!!!! To his credit, the irate judge immediately sends deputies to arrest her and sentences her to the original sentence of 45 days. fUpon which, Miss Hilton screamed and had to be removed from the courtroom. Apparantly she believes that is appropriate courtroom demeanor. It appears to me that the judge is the only person with any good sense in L.A. Now I understand that immediatelly upon booking, Miss Hilton was admitted to the Medical Unit, once again protected from the indignities of life while living in the general population. She once again has privacy and what's more.....a comfortable bed, not the 1 inch thick mat on either a steel bunk or the filthy concrete floor. Paris states at this point that she's certain she will be home by Monday. I do not understand. I am also still waiting to hear about her mysterious medical condition that is to be the basis for her early release. An early release is sadly what will probably happen and I do not understand. Am I crazy for wanting her to serve her sentence in the same fashion as anyone else would? And call me vindictive, but I want her to enjoy the entire jail "experience", jsut as anyone else would have to. Up to and including the bad food.
I know of what I speak, you see, because I was sentenced to 10 days for the first offense of DWSL. I have been a nursing supervisor for over 30 years, hold a master's degree, have no criminal record , was not on probation, and I was later able to prove that I genuinely did not know my license was suspended. The suspension turned out to be an error by the state of Florida, but all of these facts changed nothing. I was taken from court, where I was expecting only a fine, handcuffed and shackled in front of my mother, who was horrified, and jailed. I am 52 years old and have legitima
she got off pretty easy,I violated probation on a DUI charge, they sent me to prison for a year and a day.I say, suck it up,get over it,do your time and move on.This goes to show you there's no-one to good to do time.
I love you Paris. Hang in there Girl! The people who want to hurt you will be the next in line to ask you for something. Just pray. The Lord is always in control. You will come out of this a better person.....someone who will be able to share and help others more than you've already
I believe that people can be heartless. This is a young lady who has everything but peace of mind. I hope that she will learn from this experience and everyone else can go into rehab.
Oh what a tangled drunken web we we weave ... when first we believe we are above the law because we have reached a celebrity status built on a corrupt value system conjored up by our own disillusion of reality. You are getting EXACTLY what you deserve... sad thing is ... she will be released once her sentance is up... and make more money, recieve more "hollywood" time... and worst of all .. more t.v. time then any no-talent, anorexic, drunken fool should deserve .... now thats "HOT" (this is why I dont own a tv.
News outlets should "grow up" and bring better news to the people. Paris is a has been spoiled brat.....now having a temper tantrum and the news outlets are buying into the entire scene. Definitely a decline in civilization and the United States. Soon news in Bagdad will be refreshing.
