It didn't go down at the jail -- TMZ was there when Paris Hilton turned herself in to Sheriff's authorities on Sunday night. Paris' mega-lawyer, Richard Hutton, picked her up at her parents' house at 10:30 PM.

The squad car was then swarmed by aggressive paparazzi vying for a shot of the troubled heiress, who gave chase as far as they could.

A highly emotional Kathy and Rick Hilton left Los Angeles County Superior Court, thronged by reporters and photogs.

32. I think she got what she deserved. She is no better than anyone else. She has money and that is all. She is a human being as the rest of us. I am glad to see her behind bars. Maybe now she will obey the law and not think she is above the law. Yeaaaaaaaaa for Judge Sauer. He did an awesome job.

33. If she is back in jail, will the bribe money Baca accepted be returned?
Paris will write a book, play herself in a movie and look like queen because a high per centage of Americans are between moron and idoit brain power.
Kudos to the media also. Label the media as pathetic.

34. When I wrote Paris two, I meant Paris too. I wish I wrote 'Paris three', cause, it took three of them to get to where they are now. lisa m.

35. I feel very sorry fro this woman being stalked by the press, Yes she deserves to serve a sentence like everyone else. But she deosnt deserve people making fun of her over this,How would anyone like damned cameras in therif ace at a time like this? I never liked Paris Hilton, never thought Id feel sorry for her. But I do now. And I feel an example is being made out or her by the courts. SHe is obviously having a horrible time handling this. SHe needs to let God guide her and shell be okay. THe papparazzi would chased the police car and got in the way of the police car should have had the cops called on them.

36. The only thing Paris is suffering from, is coddling-withdrawal.

Even as the Sheriff's arrived at her home to take her away,
trucks were pulling up and unloading party supplies at her home.
Boxes of champagne glasses, extra chairs.
Evidentally, Paris was feeling pretty good,
when she thought the plan had worked?

They plotted to have her serve 5 days, in little over 3 days,
so that she could qualify as having served 10% of her sentence
and be released in the minimum time allowed.

38. Harvey, enough rump swabbing, you sicken me with you and the defense attorney's line "everyone else gets out in 3 days for what she's done". Bolony, she broke pobation for driving on a suspeneded license not once BUT TWICE.
In massachusetts where I am from, you drive while your license is suspended for DUI you get six months in the slammer for the 1st offense. Maybe you should move here , they have gay marriage.

39. There used to be a saying "there's no fool like an old fool" Now we can really say "there no fool like a young fool" and that applies to not just Hilton but to all the young and dumb. Been there done that!

40. Attorney1 # 38, I truley admire your rebuttal. I am definetely not disputing what you have to say whatsoever! She is a grown woman, and with respect, her parents did have an input in her way of thinking, the good with the bad. I do know, with respect how that happens, even in a 'poor' world. I do hope you are still with me, and that we can debate on a common level, are you there with me still? I would like to hear more of your input. lisa m.

41. I thought it was funny as hell when the reporter got knocked on his ass. Too bad his neck wasn't run over. Those people are like vultures! They should be a law about how much distance they should keep!

About Paris. She deserves to be in jail. She has REPEATEDLY snubbed her nose at the law ... so I feel no pity for her.
However, releasing her and then sending her back was ridiculous! The sherriff screwed big time and HE needs to be dealt with accordingly!

45. Drunk driving and driving while revoked (second offense) are NOT non serious offenses, as Harvey says. 2500-2600 teens aged 15 to 20 DIE EVERY YEAR IN THIS COUNTRY from alcohol related accidents, thats nearly 10,000 since the IRAQ war started. We don't hear about that, cause people like Harvy think DUI is a minor offense.........shame on you.
