Paris in Peril

Paris HiltonParis Hilton is "teetering on the brink."

Law enforcement sources have told TMZ that Hilton has been crying a lot, praying and extremely withdrawn.

Hilton is in the medical ward at Twin Towers, an L.A. County jail facility. She is in a room by herself with a glass door. For her protection, a sergeant guards the door at all times.

We're told Hilton hasn't eaten or slept since she arrived yesterday.

Sources have described her condition today as "fragile" and "despondent." One source called her "a train wreck" while another said she is "sullen and withdrawn."

We've learned her shrink, Dr. Charles Sophy, spent more than two hours with her this morning. Hilton's family can't visit today. In the medical ward, families can only visit on Sundays and Tuesdays.

We're told Hilton is receiving "appropriate medical attention." We're told she's being given psychotropic medication.

Can't believe that Paris Hilton made the recent statement concerning her status in jail and for the public to not think of her but be concerned about our troops in the war. Looks like Mommy and daddy with the 4 lawyers made the prepared statement for her. In her state of mind it would be difficult which brush to use for toilet cleaning.

Oh Boo Hoo.... Paris is withdrawn and crying. Big friggin deal. She broke the law, she broke her probation, and we finally have a judge who treats her like a normal person and tosses her into jail. GET OVER IT PEOPLE! If this was you or me, we'd be in there for the full time. Let Paris grow up, face her problems, and maybe she'll actually understand that she's a spoiled little brat. Remember her quote..."It takes people like me to bring sunshine and happiness into your mundane lives"..... Guess what Paris.... I'm happy now!.... Good job to the judge, and poor poor Paris.... figure out you aren't anything special.

I hope she does better. I do think she should do her time, but I didn't want her to have a complete meltdown. I think her parents are to blame for coddling her. Her mother ought to be in jail with her. Hopefully, it's not 25 years too late.

I thought the appropriate sentence would have been 10 days in jail total, and MANY hours of community service. Paris' business is "being Paris" for club openings and other publicity-involved events, and having to contribute time to public service would have made a real dent in her business. We would all not be wasting our time on this issue, as that jail sentence would have already been met, and we could have moved on. While a celebrity deserves no better treatment than a "civilian", it does appear that Paris made out worse than the typical offender. I would assume they'll pull her driver's license, and in 2 years or so she'd have to reapply. In the meanwhile, for her own benefit, she should be drug-tested periodically. This is her chance to become a "model" for young people, a step up from her current "moron" status for driving on a suspended license.

She REALLY IS mommy's girl! Did you read on the AOL news page that Kathy Hilton (mom) called Barbara Walters and Paris "just happened" to be calling her mom at the same time!! So, Paris told mommy that SHE wanted to talk to Barbra instead of letting mom do it. What are the odds of that happening!!!!! She probably made mommy call B. Walters to make sure that she would take Paris' call. (Gee, I wonder if Paris still needs mommy to clean her after she does tinkle!!!) LOL LOL LOL

I heard that Paris had only been seeing Dr. Sophy for 6 months since all of this stuff started. If she has ADD and all the other mental problems why hasn't her regular Dr. been seeing her? I have met Dr. Sophy and his ex-boyfriend a few times socially and all I can say is "I hope the Hiltons paid you well for getting her out of jail under false medical reasons. I do feel sorry for Paris though. I think the truly sick players in this drama are Paris' parents and family. First they had her dancing on tables at parties at 17, then she doesn't finish high school, then the sex tape, how about the bar fights, and of course the pantyless crotch shots, drunk driving, disobeying probation, and now jail. And Kathy Hilton blames the judge for throwing her in the clink and says he's an idiot. Mrs. Hilton take a look in the mirror at the real idiot. If you don't wake up Paris' next prank will be having you find her dead somewhere like Anna Nicole .

The Judge should have NOT have waited for Paris to show up to court that day. He should have done what is done with anyone else ( warrant for arrest & move on). Then those like Levin couldn't cry about the long sentence she received. I laugh at their cries about Paris getting 45 days and not 30 like anyone else would receive ( so they say) Neglecting to mention she got how much removed for good behavior before she even went in, unlike anyone else would get.
I saw Levin on Larry King last night.
A woman who spent time in the same Lynwood jail that Paris was in was also on the show, she made an ass out of Levin's justifications for Paris.
Finally some real people to see the unfairness, not just celebrity's speaking out for other celebrity's. Levin is slowly distancing himself from TMZ, And so are the Paris stories if one noticed or cares.

Paris is the product of her envirronment and is NOT responsible for being the way she is.
She is NOT like anyone else, and therefore should be treated the way her condition requires.
However, this is a unique and priviledged opportunity (yes priviledged) to go deeper into the real meaning of life, of herself... She will come out of this stronger about everything IF she can be left alone a little, and not go back to the crazy life she is leading. For a star like her, victim of Paps every second, it is a blessing to have a little time to reflect. Hang in there you beautiful Princess...
