Tracy Morgan: Anklet Stylin'

Tracy Morgan is among a growing number of Hollywood celebrities sporting the latest in convict chic -- an electronic ankle bracelet.

TMZ has obtained the first photo of Morgan's new SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring) device -- an ankle bracelet worn to test for alcohol vapors that exit the skin. The device tests every 30 minutes for 90 days. If Morgan tests positive for alcohol use, he will have to start his 90 days over, and if he fails a second time he'll be forced to spend 30 days in a county jail.

As TMZ first reported, Paris Hilton was also wearing an electronic monitoring anklet (but not for alcohol -- just location tracking) while under house arrest ... until she was sent back to the slammer.

My favorite part of "Diary of a Mad Black Women, was when Medea, cut off her ankle bracelt and attached to the dog.

I am starting to think its a new status symbol for the younger stars.....

33. This thing has become such a fight - Paris: just do your time and get it over with............your legal issues just might do the public much harm. If you set a precedent by getting away with all this - do you know how many innocent people will be injured or killed by drunk drivers? I'm not talking about you - I'M TALKING ABOUT ALL THE PEOPLE WHO WILL GO FREE FROM THIS BEHAVIOR..............Please just do your time and do it graciously.................it is only 39 days out of your life...............get over it and admit you were wrong. Don't cost people their jobs..................and please realize that drunk driving is not a joke!!!
