ADD Is What Ails Paris

Paris HiltonTMZ has learned that Paris Hilton suffers from extreme Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and claustrophobia, and these conditions may have triggered the Sheriff's decision to spring her from Lynwood Jail last week.

We're told Hilton is taking Adderall for her ADD. Although our sources were not specific, we're told Hilton was not receiving all of her medications at Lynwood. As a result, Hilton was having severe panic attacks in jail. There were times she was so debilitated, she could not push the panic button in her cell.

As for how she's doing today, she's depressed but not really crying. She has a pencil and a pad of paper and she's spending her time writing down her thoughts. We're also told she's losing weight -- although she's no Nicole Richie.

391. I don't care how much money Paris Hilton's family donates through their lawyers to the Sherriff’s re -election campaign; the less fortunate voters will always outnumber the very rich even in California as the sheriff is bound to find out if he runs again. Besides, aren't public officials entitled to keep campaign contributions after they are no longer in office? Sounds like good strategy if the sheriff has already decided not to run again.

392. Any more questions? Says:

"It has been revealed that Hilton's billionaire grandfather donated money last year to the sheriff who released the 26-year-old heiress from jail.

William Barron Hilton, 78, co-chairman of the Hilton Hotel chain, made a contribution of around £500 to Sheriff Lee Baca’s re-election campaign - the maximum allowed by law - according to financial records.

The friend said: "A member of her family has been a contributor to Baca’s campaign and this may have been payback time.

"Her entourage initially were confident she would be out of jail in a few days."

398. It took Paris such courage to live (and share!) that little trailer for months and months on the Simple Life, considering her brave battle with claustrophobia. Nicky Hilton and Stavros Niarchos must have claustrophobia too, as they were whisked past all those people waiting in lines for hours to see their loved ones at the penal medi-Hilton to see Paris. Very, very brave of them, especially considering all the extra anger this might generate amongst the inmates and families, let alone Nancy Grace and the general populace. They are such 'points of light'. We could all learn from them.
