ParisIt costs more than 10 times the normal amount to jail Paris Hilton.

TMZ contacted the Sheriff's Department to determine just how much money the County is spending on Hilton -- and it's way more than it costs to stay at a Hilton!

Sheriff's spokesperson Steve Whitmore tells TMZ the average cost per day for a female inmate is $99.64. Paris, well, ain't no bargain. It costs $1,109.78 to keep her locked up. The costs include medical treatment and staff associated with her needs.

By the way, if Hilton were under house arrest, it would cost taxpayers zilch. The inmate shells out the cost of doing time at home.

333. Paris is not the subject at hand. What really pissed people off is that Jillian Reynolds made the comment "that HIGH profile people, need special treatment" and the Judge is on a personal attack. The real issue is that she was convicted and sentenced. If the Judge is wrong do it correctly, file an appeal. Also she has already been convicted of a DUI. Should we wait until she has killed somebody and convict her of Murder? Would she still be the victum? Poor Paris is what she is not.

In my opinion, the MADD group, should offer DUI offenders a chance to really learn a lesson by having offenders work behind the scenes with funeral homes, clean up crime scenes, actually know the pain and suffering they could of caused, whether it be serving coffee after the funeral, washing dishes, sweeping the floor, they don't need to have one-on-one contact with the family who has suffered a loss, even digging the grave of victims of DUI. A program could be designed, where the impact of what they did is much more educational and experience first hand the grieve they caused. I'm not saying this program is for every DUI offender, most people would most likely never get behind a wheel again after drinking/drugs. Losing a loved one whether it be a human or an felt for the families that have lost a loved one.

336. For those who think it's terrible that Paris is being pampered in a hospital facility cause she doesn't feel comfy in a prison cell write to the Sheriff's office at this address: Tell Baca to send her to real prison!!

338. I have never seen a person get out of prison because they didn't like close spaces, had dry skin and wanted some drugs to make them feel good. Amazing!!!

340. EVEN IF SHE HAS ADD.....IT DOES NOT MEAN SHE CAN'T SERVE PRISON TIME. THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE ARE SITTING IN PRISON CELLS RIGHT NOW THAT HAVE ADD. YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO BE IN THE MEDICAL FACILITY FOR THINGS LIKE SHE IS "CLAIMING". IT IS RESERVED FOR VERY SERIOUS MEDICAL CONDITIONS.
