Paris to Babwa: I've Got No Mirror, But I've Got Balls!

Paris Hilton had a couple spare minutes over the weekend, and so she just happened to collect-call ... Barbara Walters!

Walters recounted their little chat on "The View" this morning. Among the highlights: Paris says her "act" until now -- namely, playing a blonde heirhead -- is over, and that she's a totally different person after just a few days of jail. Indeed, proclaims Paris, "God has released" her spirit from its previous, uh, incarnation.

Apparently, Paris is also playing ping-pong, and maybe most shockingly of all, she tells Babwa that she hasn't looked in a mirror in days, and that her face is "very dry" for lack of moisturizer. She's served nine days, has fourteen left, and at this point, isn't sobbing, screaming or wailing in her cell, according to Walters.

Her new mission in life? According to Babwa, Paris wants to take on causes, like breast cancer or multiple sclerosis, and might open something called the Paris Hilton Playhouse so disabled children can play.

92. Even if Paris really wants to change and make a difference, hateful people like you would probably still judge her and not let her.
Yes, she deserves to do the time but she ALSO DESERVES

93. Two things:

Shall we take bets to see how long it will be to see Paris back partying ?

94. I like the part of this video where Babwah quotes Paris saying "God has released me" and Joy Behar piped in and said "yeah, well the judge HASN'T!"

96. Her lifestyle, initiated by her parents, is a from a perspective of a pampering and self-importantance completely enabled by those paid to "care" for her, and the "frienemies" she surrounds herself with. To "get real" she'll have to rid these people from access to her life and begin to "see" herself without the rose-colored glasses and the "blinders" she's worn all her life. Not impossible, but - in her case - highly unlikely. Hopefully, I'm wrong, - but it'll take about a year or two of her towing the line of respectability to earn her that respect from society, at-large. She's burned her own bridges, only she can rebuild them.

YES........she deserves to do the time but she ALSO DESERVES a chance to make things right.
I feel their are many jealous people on this site. Jealousy is UGLY!

98. For a convicted felon, Paris seems to have an amazingly free amount of access to a phone (and she just happened to have had BW's phone number handy????).

Doubtless the things that she has remarked upon will come to be.....there probably will be a "Paris Hilton Playcentre" and it will be seen that she attends or donates to a charity or two, which are positive things, however, let us not forget that this is a very wealthy family and such "commitments" are but drops in the ocean for them.

I doubt very much if there will be any real commitment on behalf of Paris other than her handlers making sure that she is seen in attendance on the odd occasion at the playcentre (perhaps for an xmas party or something). It is very easy to be seen to be generous when you are...a) exceedingly wealthy and b) have no time, work or family constraints.

So I suggest a challenge to Paris. If you have really seen the light (a pathetic attempt to gain sympathy from the masses) I challenge you to do one of two things.....

1) Spend a full year in the Peace Corp working in a third world country (yes, actually getting your hands dirty).

or

2) Renounce your inheritance and donate it all to charity setting up trusts for education and health for disadvantaged members of society (don't worry, your other family members will make sure that you don't live on the streets).

I somehow don't think much will happen beyond a pr show.

99. This is so predictable. I knew Paris would plan her "new girl" image with spirituality and the whole bit. So transparent, so pre-meditated, and so nauseating. Just go away, already!

100. Nice try again, Paris......I give you 2 days, and you will be back at the party scenes.......like I said...you will soon grow gray hairs cause you are a brainless 26 year old woman with no thoughts except parties and boyfriends......your publicist is pretty good in making you look like you want to change......but we don't buy your statements!

101. I think people are facinated by Paris Hilton because she is like a fashion doll of a certain name come to life. There is the resemblance, the great wardrobe, the little dog, the "fake" jobs, the car, the interchangable boyfriends. What would happen if your fashion doll of a certain name came to life? Mothers, don't let your daughters grow up to be Paris!

102. Oh boy, this is REALLY the ShawSKANK Redemption, with her thinking she's found God and will do Parasite Playhouse. Didn't Pee Wee have a Playhouse too?

104. First of all...I would like to thank the TMZ users for using your brains on this one mostly. Ray Charles can see that Babs is a interview whore in the closet. Come on Babs! At least try and trick us. Maybe senility is kicking in and you don't even realize it. I can't wait until Joy let's it fly on both Babs and Elizabitch with a double drop kick to the forehead, then abruptly quits the show to start filming her own show...lol.....one can dream......
If the show goes down it will be solely because of Babs and her character. I love watching them drive Babs' blood pressure up (i.e. Star, Rosie, Kathie Griffin...etc...)
Babs perpetuates the myth that most Blacks have of the "Old White Woman" type of personality....it's not pretty Babs!
Mrs HASSELbeck also should watch her thinly veiled comments with regard to her feelings about race. Her comments with regard to "White people being discriminated against" or her lovely comment "I love MY white man", are showing through. I am being more annoyed by The View lately than anything. They should do a daytime show with all female comedians on the panel talking about world subjects. They seem to be more on point than most and with their comedic licence....they can move mountains.......just thinkin'

105. OKAY all you dummies raise your hand.Or we all so dumb that we can,t see right through what is going on here with Paris. She has found religion, her family goes righ on in to see her and everone else waits their turn who was their first. Her mom calls Barbara Walters just to chat and guess who else chimes in, Parissssssssss. Her face is dry and she reads alot. Well she needs to do alot of cleaning and community service and get her hands dirty like the rest of us. I have some money and I worked my buns off to get it and put myself through college and at age 30 I am now a vet for cats only. My parents handed me nothing except support and love and alot of good morals. I did my partying in college and what really ticks off alot of people is that she has the ways and means to really help people and make a difference and what does she do, SIMPLE LIFE. she is simple and really not very smart so she may want to keep playing DUMB.
