61. This whole thing is beginning to make me sick. I am in my seventies. I am a white female. I readily admit that when I was young I made a lot of mistakes, including DUI. And if you are at least a grown up, don't tell me you didn't.
This is a girl, a human being. She is a dumb kid that really needs to be sat down and talked to and told the facts of life. Give her a break.
Yes, she has gotten into a lot of situations I would hope my grandchildren would not get into, but they don't have the opportunity.
Did it ever occur to you what SHE is going through while all of you idiots demand blood? And the stupid remarks are unbelievable. The great unwashed American Public at it's finest. And that includes the night time comedians. Just because you don't have the wealth she has, does that give you the right to hate her? It is obvious that many of you don't even have a decent education judging by your grammar and the hate you spit out. Not having a good education is nothing to he ashamed of, but when you use at as an excuse to trample another human being you are showing how crass you are.
This girl is a human being. You let murderers and rapists get away with it, but you crucify this young girl because she has money and has made some really dumb mistakes.
When you can all honestly say you have never driven with a few too many or done anything stupid in your life, then I will listen to you. In the meantime, stop crucifying this kid for the same thing most of you have done. You just didn't get caught! And if you did, you just weren't famous enough or rich enough to have it exposed.
You have a scared deer in the headlights and are just dying to run it over!!!!

Paris is a victim of herself and although she enjoyed the publicity and
has a love affair with the camera she is entitled to have some peace
now during these trying times.

65. Paris is a good person and I, as I always do was too quick to judge. I am so jealous of the Hilton's wealth and power. I live in a trailer park and I don't even have a car. I can barely buy enough food for the month to survive with the food stamps I get. I realize that I am uneducated trailer trash and I should just learn to shut up and go away. I also want to apologize to all of the TMZ readers that were subjected to reading my idiotic post riddled with poor grammar and punctuation. I am truly sorry that I am a complete dumb ass. Please find it in your hearts to forgive me.

67. She is still getting special treatment. She will never know the REAL WORLD as long as BACA is still watching over her. I personally think since she is in the public eye, and others look up to her, her fine should be stiffer. Not more lenient. Have work, and I mean work, in a homeless shelter during the day. So she can see what a privileged life she really has.

71. So Knockitoff I take it that you condone drunk driving! Is is okay to drive drunk as long as you do not kill somebody? What if she had killed somebody? Would you feel sorry for her then? With all of her money she should use a driver if she wants to get drunk and party. Other peoples lives should not be endangered just because she wants to get drunk.

I have no respect for her because she is not paying for her sins like anyone else would. If I had of violated probation I would have been sentenced to a year not just 45 days! What about her showing up for court late? Anybody else would have been held in contempt of court and had to serve additional time for that. I think that the Judge took it easy on her because she is rich and famous.

I do not demand blood, all I want is for her to recieve the same treatment as anyone else would under the circumstances. It is not right that she gets the royal treatment while in jail. How is she supposed to learn her lesson when the Sheriffs' Department treats her special and her parents plan a party for her?

I do not feel sorry for her at all because she cannot be suffering. If you think that she is dumb she has really got you fooled! She is just manipulating the system by claiming to be ill so that she does not have to sit in a cold cell like anyone else would have to in her position.

It really makes me sick when I hear about all of the special treatment that Paris is recieving in Jail. I heard on the Nancy Grace show that the Sheriffs' Department has a special menu just for Paris. But yet she lies and claims that she is living off of bread and cerial! I guess she wants everyone to feel sorry for her!

I also heard on the Nancy Grace show that she is now housed in the Acute care area of the Medical ward in spite of the fact that her illnesses are not severe enough for her to meet the criteria to be in there. Nancy Grace described the acute care ward as being for Inmates who need dialysis, are giving birth while in jail, and cancer patients. Paris has a room with a view that usually has 4 Inmates in it all to herself, gets to play ping pong and read magazines and newspapers all day. While the other Inmates have to be seen by the Psychiatrist on staff at the Jail Paris gets to be seen by her own private Psychiatrist! This is so unfair! It makes me sick that the Sheriff’s Dept. is treating Paris like royalty. Paris is no better than anyone else!

If Paris was well enough to walk the red carpet at the MTV awards I believe that she is well enough to do her time in a cell instead of a room with a view in the Acute Care Medical Ward. She did not look sick or depressed on the Red Carpet! Some people think that Paris should be sent home because it costs ten times more than the regular Inmate to house her in the Jail. Well, I say if the Sheriff's Department would quit giving Paris the royal treatment then it would not cost that much to house her! She does not require Dialysis, treatment for cancer, nor is she having a baby! She does not even meet the criteria to be housed in the Acute Care Ward! She can eat what everyone else eats! She did the crime therefore she should do the time for it! I cannot stress enough that Paris Hilton is no better than anyone else!

I do not want blood what I want is equal justice under the law! Everyone should be treated the same no matter how much or how little money they have! Paris is not dumb she is a manipulator!

Knockitoff, if you want to feel sorry for someone look for the story here at TMZ about Gloria Allread's client Patricia Richardson who was treated like an animal while an Inmate in the jail that Paris is in. She was in fact sick and was denied medical treatment and showers. The employees at the jail took away her prostesis and made her crawl on the floor like an animal to get to the toilet in her cell. When she was released and they returned her $50,000 prostesis to her it was broken and unusable! They did not even offer to replace it for her. I hope that she wins her lawsuit! She did not deserve to be treated in such a way. She deserves your sympathy not Paris Hilton!

And as to these "older" women chiming in about Paris's behavior... I would believe Paris has found God before I believe that crap. I volunteer at senior citizen home and while the old biddies might love to discuss hollywood and its starlets....they are from a time where people having sex outside marriage were ostracized and looked down upon let alone Paris's even more deplorable behavior.. They shake their heads and wonder how "fallen" women could hold their heads up in public... nice try babbs
