Nobody Makes Up Clooney Quotes and Gets Away with It!

George Clooney, Paris HiltonGeorge Clooney did NOT slam Paris Hilton after the socialite was sent back to prison last week -- and he's pissed at the people who said he did!

Several media outlets picked up quotes attributed to the "Ocean's 13" star, saying, "You can only get so far without any discernible talent. Then you either work or use cheap publicity tricks to keep the public's attention ... Then you are in no position to complain if, like Paris, you are on the receiving end of bad publicity."

Paris Hilton gallery: click to launch photosClooney's rep sent KP International, which disseminated the quote, a letter demanding an immediate retraction and an apology. Not only that, Clooney wants the source of the story to be named.

But, I'd probably respect you more if you had said it - it is so true! Paris draws attention to herself all the time. If you want the public's attention, you gotta know we're watching even when you don't want us to.

Clooney wasted one ounce of energy thinking about the person who was thinking about Paris. He doesnt want us to think that he thinks nasty things about Paris so his gonna kick the ass of the person who made you think he was thinking about Paris. In effect he was thinking about Paris...

22. Honestly, if George said this, he should stand behind it. It's a very accurate statement about Paris and Hollywood in general.

Paris really doesn't have any talent, other than being famous, and that never lasts.

It's about time someone stood up to the tabloids and demanding they name sources on this Paris media circus. Of course the sources are bogus, for many of the stories have simply been fabrications.

30. Since when does anyone in the Deluded State of Hollywood have anything moral or virtuous to say? Hey... I'm not knocking the rich & famous or their celebrity status. That's cool with me. It's just the sanctimonious self absorbed, righteous BS that comes out of that bubble. The Hollywood Elite bestow as experts in areas they know nothing about. Money and fame can’t buy anyone enlightenment or intelligence. Who cares what they have to say. Most of them are completely clueless to rational thought or sensibility and live in the haze of bong smoke.
