A law enforcement source connected with the Lynwood Jail tells TMZ, "To describe Paris as emotionally upset would be an understatement."
TMZ has confirmed she's in the medical wing at the jail and is being "evaluated." We're told Sheriff's officials believed she was stable enough, and that's why she was transferred. But our source is doubtful and says she "will not be able to handle" the cell she was in before. We're told the root of the problem is severe panic attacks.
That source and someone connected with Paris' family tells TMZ they are convinced she'll be back at Twin Towers in a few days because she will deteriorate again.

I have no knowledge of all the drugs stated in previous comments...however I suspect that the Lawyers for Paris are all "CLAMOURING" for money. Here in Western Australia you will be given a minimum of 3 months suspension of your licence for DUI...NO TIME OFF!!!....I am sure that Western Australians would rejoice the American justice system which would reduce "time served" to ONE or even "None"...load of Crok!. Paris should do the "time"...she committed the crime!....she could have killed someone!!!!! Never heard about her having problems before this...hmmmm!!! Poor little "diddums" relying on the fact that "ALL" Americans are on drugs?????
I am a grandmother of 5 teen agers......Paris Hilton is a spoiled "little girl". Does not have any redeeming qualities other than being drunk and getting high. She is probably going through detox, but the public will never get the true story. I think the country knows what is going on with this immature "child". Get a life, volunteer, help someone out.......thanks.
How interesting that she didn't have panic attacks until she was in jail. Clearly, the problem is situational (if you even believe it at all, and I'm not sure I do), but she still brought it upon herself by repeatedly disobeying a court order. I have no sympathy. Put her in a cell like any other inmate. Stop treating her like she's some kind of fragile china doll. She should never have gotten preferential treatment in the first place, because that probably only fed the problem. Now she has gotten treatment and medication for her alleged disorder, and If she "deteriorates" again that quickly, we'll all know beyond any doubt that it's all just an act.
I bet the sheriff's department wouldn't be anywhere near that sympathetic if she weren't rich and attractive.
panic attacks my ass....shes having an old fashioned temper tantrum cuz her parents never disciplined her and shes not getting her own way for once. grow up paris and do your time! read some books, meditate and use this time to let the drugs and alcohol leech out of our system; maybe you will actually come out of there feeling, acting and LOOKING more like a real human being!
