Paris Hauled Back to Lynwood Jail

TMZ has confirmed that Paris Hilton was shipped back to the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood last night -- the same jail where she allegedly teetered on the verge of a mental breakdown. Authorities decided she was OK to leave the medical ward at Twin Towers jail in downtown Los Angeles.

Sources tell TMZ that Hilton has been doing much better with the proper meds, and we're told that there has been pressure on the Sheriff's Department to move her back to the Lynwood jail when the medical facility was no longer necessary. We're told that now Hilton has been deemed "medically stable."

What remains to be seen is if the medicines Hilton was taking will continue to be properly administered .

A rep for the L.A. County Sheriff tells TMZ that Paris was taken from the correctional treatment center at Twin Towers "late last night" and was transported back to Lynwood. The last time she did time at Lynwood, she was in a solitary cell in a special needs unit.

Paris Hilton's spoiled life: Click to launch photosThe Sheriff's Department has scheduled a press conference for 8:00 AM PDT. TMZ has learned that the news conference at 8:00 AM will last all of 30 seconds and won't address any further issues.

UPDATE: A Sheriff's rep tells TMZ that Paris will be in the medical clinic at Lynwood until they are sure she will remain medically stable. After that, Paris will move to the same cell she was in before she left the facility.

UPDATE:
We're told that Hilton was transferred last night around 11:00 PM.

166. She's medically stable now? Good, she got over her temper tantrum. But, so much for treating her like everyone else... I really don't feel sorry for the girl, she knew exactly what she was doing and thought she'd never be punished. Guess that judge did what her parents never had the backbone to do.

169. I feel bad for the spoiled little rich girl, but if was any man or woman on the street that did the same things she did ,they would be in jail.all this bull about how she has payed for her crime ,and it was a crime,is wrong, she needs to sit there and take her 23 days ,which she can do standing on her head.well maybe not it might hurt her hair.seeing she is hairbrained already i dont see much of a damaging affect there,so paris stay put ,then when your time is up,MOVE ON and behave like an adult.I wish you future well being and peace, esp of mind.get it together girl and you will be ok in this troubled world. lois/new gloucester,Maine

170. Mel-They probably dropped the appeal because they wouldn't win it and Paris doesn't need the added grief. They should have appealed the "no house arrest" condition while she was still in the Court system. Had they done that then and it was approved by the court the Sheriff could have sent her home like he did because "house arrest"would then be within his authority to do. Now that she's in the Corrections system the proper procedure is to file an emergency motion with the Court to amend the sentence to exclude the "no house arrest" condition but NOW they would have to provide proof that an emergency condition exists but it doesn't. Paris just wants to do her time, be left alone and be done with it. In her condition I think its a good call!

---------------------------------------------------------

Well, here's a thought: Mel Gibson attended AA meetings, he apologized to the people he offended, he hasn't been caught drunk driving again and he didn't violate any probation. Makes sense, now?

And how can people condone her behavior and supporting her when she has said all along that she would turn her life around? Remember her saying she'd be celibate for a year? The night after she was literally hanging off of a guy. And now she's saying she's not gonna act dumb and she's gonna be spiritual yet her parents are fishing for an "Out of Jail Party" for their daughter in Vegas? Ridiculous.

Watch the videos of Paris in youtube where she makes fun of other people. She deserves all of this and she deserves the large dose of REALITY she's getting. Hopefully this ordeal would make her a better person. I hope she doesn't do anything stupid as drive drunk again the next time she parties.

This is the person whom most girls look up to. We can't leave her alone until she's proven she's true to her word and has turned her life around.

173. oops....sorry Lisa, didn't mean to "make a mistake" by including Michele Rodriguez and having the wrong "info" on her....maybe that's because her name, face, picture, body, whatever isn't constantly thrown at us....and because I really don't care.....however, everything else I said is true......and I don't care who you are...where I come from in NJ, and even in NY, there is no way Paris or anyone else would have gotten the special treatment she is getting.....and I repeat, put yourself in the position of having your son or daughter somewhere near her when she is driving in this condition.....end of discussion.....

174. stupid spoiled whore.

I stand by that.

So she thinks that if she reads Barbara Walters a pre prepared statement (that no way in hell she wrote or really even understood) the public will love her again? Wow, she is dumb as a bag of sand.

If Paris could find Iraq or Afghanistan on a map with no prior help I'd be impressed. She has never EVER cared for the men and women dying for her freedoms. She using them to gain sympathy. Disgusting. She has always wanted to be the center of attention and built up her 'fame' and is now saying 'why are you paying attention to me?". Uh because of our actions of the last 7 years.

She says being dumb is an act. Really? What was her GPA in highschool? Did she even try to attend college? Take the SAT's? Rich kids do graduate and educate themselves. Even the princes of England managed it.

And creating a children's charity with HER NAME on it? Aren't there a thousand charities that are good and worthwhile? Why spend her time creating a new one? Oh to get her name out. People name charities after people afflicted by diseases they have or have died from. Or the name of the disease. Not their OWN name. Just another reason that she's a media monger who only wishes to have people know her name, not help children.

Paris, do your time and get over yourself. Help others with your wealth. Get out of the public eye.

No one will believe a word you utter about changing until it's been 5 + years and you've stuck to your word.

175. HOLLYWOOD TO THE BIG APPLE?

The new question now is; WHAT'S THE PLAN STAN? Is the plan now to say that Paris Hilton doesn't really have major Mental Health Issues, and will not require a long term Mental Health Care program? Is the plan still to have the party of parties for Paris Hilton in Vegas, were what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas? Were her mother can once more live out her live in the same body that a weaker individual one is dying?
Is the plan to ship Paris Hilton, the (GED) Educated, Panty Less, Crotch Shots Giving, Internet Porn Queen, Hilton Hotel Multi-Million Dollar Heiress, who has single handedly upset the two tier socially stacked legal system of Los Angles County and City, causing a political upheaval, to the Big Apple?
The Hilton Family is going to sent Paris into the loving embrace of Vassar Educated, Prada Wearing, What are you looking at, New York Society Page Reading, Old Money and New Mega Dollar Earning and Inherited, lawyer in a court of law and never defendants, part of the political system, Sister Hood?
The term 'SPECIAL TREATMENT" has an entirely different meaning on the East Coast than it does on the West Coast! On the West Coast were all for a little "SPECIAL TREATMENT", on the East Coast, that's sometime you want to avoid. And, the Sister Hood in New York will really give Paris Very Special Treatment.
Brother Barron Hilton got a New York City, Beat Down, and that's going to look like being welcomed with open loving brotherly open arms compared to the reception and treatment Paris Hilton will be walking into. Socially Paris Hilton would be safer walking naked during working girls business hours in Watts, East LA, or Hollywood Blvd. than in the Society of The Big Apple.

Very Respectfully,

176. A Latino woman dies while in custody after being arrested by the LA County Sheriffs Dept meanwhile Paris Hilton still recieving special treatment while in Jail!

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- A woman who lay bleeding on the emergency room floor of a troubled inner-city hospital died after 911 dispatchers refused to contact paramedics or an ambulance to take her to another facility, newly released tapes of the emergency calls reveal.

Edith Isabel Rodriguez, 43, died of a perforated bowel on May 9 at Martin Luther King Jr.-Harbor Hospital. Her death was ruled accidental by the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

Relatives said Rodriguez was bleeding from the mouth and writhing in pain for 45 minutes while she was at a hospital waiting area. Experts have said she could have survived had she been treated early enough.

County and state authorities are now investigating Rodriguez's death. Relatives reported she died as police were wheeling her out of the hospital after the officers they had asked to help Rodriguez arrested her instead on a parole violation. Sheriff's Department spokesman Duane Allen said Wednesday that the investigation is ongoing.

In the recordings of two 911 calls that day, first obtained by the Los Angeles Times under a California Public Records Act request, callers pleaded for help for Rodriguez but were referred to hospital staff instead.

"I'm in the emergency room. My wife is dying and the nurses don't want to help her out," Rodriguez's boyfriend, Jose Prado, is heard saying in Spanish through an interpreter on the tapes.

"What's wrong with her?" a female dispatcher asked.

"She's vomiting blood," Prado said.

"OK, and why aren't they helping her?" the dispatcher asked.

"They're watching her there and they're not doing anything. They're just watching her," Prado said.

The dispatcher told Prado to contact a doctor and then said paramedics wouldn't pick her up because she was already in a hospital. She later told him to contact county police officers at a security desk.

A second 911 call was placed eight minutes later by a bystander who requested that an ambulance be sent to take Rodriguez to another hospital for care.

"She's definitely sick and there's a guy that's ignoring her," the woman told a male dispatcher.

During the call, the dispatcher argued with the woman over whether there really was an emergency.

"I cannot do anything for you for the quality of the hospital. ... It is not an emergency. It is not an emergency ma'am," he said.

"You're not here to see how they're treating her," the woman replied.

The dispatcher refused to call paramedics and told the woman that she should contact hospital supervisors "and let them know" if she is unhappy.

"May God strike you too for acting the way you just acted," the woman said finally.

"No, negative ma'am, you're the one," he said.

The incident was the latest high-profile lapse at King-Harbor, formerly known as King/Drew. The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is investigating claims of recent patient care breakdowns, including Rodriguez's case.

Federal inspectors last week said emergency room patients were in "immediate jeopardy" of harm or death, and King-Harbor was given 23 days to shape up or risk losing federal funding.

Dr. Bruce Chernof, director of the county Department of Health Services, which oversees the facility, has called Rodriguez's death "inexcusable" and said it was "important to understand that this was fundamentally a failure of caring." He has said conditions are improving, though.

A call Wednesday seeking comment about the 911 tapes from the department's communications office, which handles information about the hospital, was not immediately returned.

Dr. Roger Peeks, the chief medical officer at the hospital, was placed on "ordered absence" Monday, the Times reported. Health officials declined to elaborate, saying it was a personnel matter. Dr. Robert Splawn, chief medical officer for the health department, was named interim chief medical officer, the newspaper said.

I guess since her Grandfather could'nt afford to pay Sheriff Baca off she did not deserve necessary medical treatment prior to going to jail! If she were a white, rich, celebrity she would have recieve excellent medical care and lived instead of being dragged off to jail without being seen by a doctor!

177. Of course they will not release her from jail. The only people who get released are murderers, rapists, thieves and child molesters, they get all the good treatment.

178. I would just like to know if she has learned her lesson. Will she return to the clubs?(You can bet on it). Will she still make her racist comments? (of course she will). Will she still think she is better than everyone else and should be held to different standard?(Without a doubt). Her parents are planning a party for after her release. What does that tell you? But all that aside, I am sick and tired of the media circus. People are being killed and dying every day, there's a war going on for heavens sake. SHE IS NOT THAT IMPORTANT!!!!

179. I have never been a Paris fan and her behavior is unacceptable. At first, I was happy that she was punished for what she did, but the whole Paris thing has gone over board. She did break the law but she is not a crimminal. I think she's learned her lesson and she's served enough time. She's been humiliated, she's been called all kinds of names, she's been made fun of like on almost every TV show, her privacy has been completely invaded, not to mention she she is ill, I can keep going on and on. We're all human and so is she. What is wrong with America? The last thing America has left to do is throw stones at her. Put yourself in her shoes, how would you feel? We've all screwed up before and we've all had another shot at life, it's a part of growing up. Some screw up more than others but we are all different. Free Paris!
