Paris Hauled Back to Lynwood Jail

TMZ has confirmed that Paris Hilton was shipped back to the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood last night -- the same jail where she allegedly teetered on the verge of a mental breakdown. Authorities decided she was OK to leave the medical ward at Twin Towers jail in downtown Los Angeles.

Sources tell TMZ that Hilton has been doing much better with the proper meds, and we're told that there has been pressure on the Sheriff's Department to move her back to the Lynwood jail when the medical facility was no longer necessary. We're told that now Hilton has been deemed "medically stable."

What remains to be seen is if the medicines Hilton was taking will continue to be properly administered .

A rep for the L.A. County Sheriff tells TMZ that Paris was taken from the correctional treatment center at Twin Towers "late last night" and was transported back to Lynwood. The last time she did time at Lynwood, she was in a solitary cell in a special needs unit.

Paris Hilton's spoiled life: Click to launch photosThe Sheriff's Department has scheduled a press conference for 8:00 AM PDT. TMZ has learned that the news conference at 8:00 AM will last all of 30 seconds and won't address any further issues.

UPDATE: A Sheriff's rep tells TMZ that Paris will be in the medical clinic at Lynwood until they are sure she will remain medically stable. After that, Paris will move to the same cell she was in before she left the facility.

UPDATE:
We're told that Hilton was transferred last night around 11:00 PM.

181. Thanks for your response: I still think it was a bad move not to appeal.

Mel-They probably dropped the appeal because they wouldn't win it and Paris doesn't need the added grief. They should have appealed the "no house arrest" condition while she was still in the Court system. Had they done that then and it was approved by the court the Sheriff could have sent her home like he did because "house arrest"would then be within his authority to do. Now that she's in the Corrections system the proper procedure is to file an emergency motion with the Court to amend the sentence to exclude the "no house arrest" condition but NOW they would have to provide proof that an emergency condition exists but it doesn't. Paris just wants to do her time, be left alone and be done with it. In her condition I think its a good call!

184. Post 181 "RichSistaGirl" >Bet your white

For someone all worked up about anger and hate you sure do have a lot yourself. I feel more for you then the Paris haters. They release frustration at the system, Paris is only the mascot. You however must live day in and out with your bitterness and illusions.

186. she's just a young woman. Give her some slack, geez! I know some young women who are pretty trampy, and I wish they would be put right in the media like Paris is. Maybe some of the parents criticizing Paris would shut up. Remember who throws the stone is just as guilty if not more. All you born againers out there, remember that.

187. It's long past time they took her out of the expensive medical unit, where she never should have been in the first place. Nobody gets put in the hospital for ADD and claustrophobia. Nobody. She needs to be put in a regular cell, and the sheriff needs to leave the medical wings for people who are actually sick, and not just faking it like her to get preferential treatment.

188. maybe if her parents had set a good example when these girls were young....Paris wouldn't be where she is now....and all of you who feel Paris should be free....bet you wouldn't feel this way if she had killed one of your family members while driving with a suspended licence and driving while drunk....so be thankful she is finally paying her dues....jail isn't suppose to be fun...helloooo!!!!!
