Paris Hauled Back to Lynwood Jail

TMZ has confirmed that Paris Hilton was shipped back to the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood last night -- the same jail where she allegedly teetered on the verge of a mental breakdown. Authorities decided she was OK to leave the medical ward at Twin Towers jail in downtown Los Angeles.

Sources tell TMZ that Hilton has been doing much better with the proper meds, and we're told that there has been pressure on the Sheriff's Department to move her back to the Lynwood jail when the medical facility was no longer necessary. We're told that now Hilton has been deemed "medically stable."

What remains to be seen is if the medicines Hilton was taking will continue to be properly administered .

A rep for the L.A. County Sheriff tells TMZ that Paris was taken from the correctional treatment center at Twin Towers "late last night" and was transported back to Lynwood. The last time she did time at Lynwood, she was in a solitary cell in a special needs unit.

Paris Hilton's spoiled life: Click to launch photosThe Sheriff's Department has scheduled a press conference for 8:00 AM PDT. TMZ has learned that the news conference at 8:00 AM will last all of 30 seconds and won't address any further issues.

UPDATE: A Sheriff's rep tells TMZ that Paris will be in the medical clinic at Lynwood until they are sure she will remain medically stable. After that, Paris will move to the same cell she was in before she left the facility.

UPDATE:
We're told that Hilton was transferred last night around 11:00 PM.

46. It is time for Paris to go home. She has served enough time to pay for the offense.

47. I am a grandmother and I say enough is enough. For everyones sake "leave the girl alone now". She is a product of how she was raised, just like we all are and I feel sorry for her family too. We all need to have a little bit of heart for a change and the authorities should open up that space for someone dangerous who needs to be there. As Forrest Gump would say, and may I add he was really quite amazing in his quotes, "that is all I have to say about that". Eat a piece of chocolate and go do something fun, and stop watching the news. That's what I'm going to do

Thanks

50. I DON'T KNOW IF I WOULD BELIEVE TMZ, THE MORNING NEWS SAID SHE IS NOT BEING MOVED, IT'S NOT ON ANY OF THE MAJOR TV NEWS REPORTS AND TMZ HAS BEEN WRONG BEFORE! WHY DON'T YOU THINK SHE DIDN'T APPEAL, BECAUSE SHE GETS TO DO HER SENTENCE WHERE SHE IS NOW NOT AT LYNWOOD.

51. This is too crazy... It's the first time that I'm actually feeling sorry for her.. I am not a Paris Hater or lover, by any means.. Yet, since anything I've seen on her in the press and tv in general causes me to believe that down deep she is a nice person...Yeah we can all feel agrivated by her celebrity, being that she has never done anything to deserve the attention she receives, but that's this generation of celebrity... Way back when, it used to be thast a person had to do something to garner attention like this, but with money and the paparazzi the way it is, this is what "sells".. I do feel that they are using her.. The judge should be dis-barred for things like this... If this judge can do things like this, I'm afraid to fathom the other injustices he has caused, especially to other women...

52. Cathy - before posting comments regarding other people like Michelle Rodriguez, do your homework. Michelle Rodriguez was ALSO on probation and violated it 3 times. She violated her HIT & RUN probation with a DUI, and another violent offense.

53. Her case is NOT like the ones researched....she received many preferential or lite penalties and ignored them all. Sheesh hospital cell for ADD? Some cannot see the facts. She's out pretty soon anyway, ler her finish up.

58. Paris, not really a big fan when this all started, but now I am. I haven't seen anyone mistreated like this( by the press, public, and especially by the Judge in LA ) since Bill Clinton was in office. Where was Al Sharpton when Michelle Rodriguez with 2 DUI charges ( the second one while on probation with the first one ) was suppose to spend 60 days in jail got out in a little over 4 hours..... or Tracy Morgan again 2 DUI charges ( the second one again while on probation for the first one ) . All he got was a ankle bracelet which checks his alcohol level every 30 minutes for 30 days. He wasn't even in attendance when the sentence came down. No jail time at all !! Where was Al Sharpton? NO AL SHARPTON, PRESS, PUBLIC, OR NO UPSET JUDGE attacking them. She has already spent more time than most people spend for what she did I think It's time to let her out and time to stop the abuse. I think the question to ask is why is the Judge trying set a example of her and not the other 2 people.
