Paris Hauled Back to Lynwood Jail

TMZ has confirmed that Paris Hilton was shipped back to the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood last night -- the same jail where she allegedly teetered on the verge of a mental breakdown. Authorities decided she was OK to leave the medical ward at Twin Towers jail in downtown Los Angeles.

Sources tell TMZ that Hilton has been doing much better with the proper meds, and we're told that there has been pressure on the Sheriff's Department to move her back to the Lynwood jail when the medical facility was no longer necessary. We're told that now Hilton has been deemed "medically stable."

What remains to be seen is if the medicines Hilton was taking will continue to be properly administered .

A rep for the L.A. County Sheriff tells TMZ that Paris was taken from the correctional treatment center at Twin Towers "late last night" and was transported back to Lynwood. The last time she did time at Lynwood, she was in a solitary cell in a special needs unit.

Paris Hilton's spoiled life: Click to launch photosThe Sheriff's Department has scheduled a press conference for 8:00 AM PDT. TMZ has learned that the news conference at 8:00 AM will last all of 30 seconds and won't address any further issues.

UPDATE: A Sheriff's rep tells TMZ that Paris will be in the medical clinic at Lynwood until they are sure she will remain medically stable. After that, Paris will move to the same cell she was in before she left the facility.

UPDATE:
We're told that Hilton was transferred last night around 11:00 PM.

76. Sooooo.....I wonder if I could rally all you Paris Supporters in support for my SISTER...Talk about INJUSTICE....Court records indicate her probation requirements were satisfied Jan 3, 2007, after spending 50, yes 50, days in jail, plus $$$$ in fines, plus community service, plus psychological counseling (at her own expense) and yet the probation officer REFUSES to release her. My sister contacted an attorney *(her court appointed attorney is of NO help) and he said for $1500.00 he could get her released....so why can't the court appointed attorney do the same?? Since when do Probation Officers get so much authority? My sister's offense: a 15 year-old *yes you heard right*, First Offense Mis-demeanor... My sister has owned up to her mistake, paid for it and continues to pay for it. She is not a repeat offender (as Paris was) and has come such a long way since that 15 year old arrest. She does not have the financial resources to pay for the attorney who said he could get her released. She just wants to be released from this, return to our home state to be with our elderly Mom & even more elderly grandmother who is slowly dying (she's 92). But because of the egos of the authorities involved, they continue heap abuse on my sister. That's what it becomes once requirements are satisfied and no end is in sight. They continue to insist that if she can prove she has a job waiting for her back in home state, they will release her. How do you find a job when you are thousands of miles away? Well....hmmmm, if she had the financial resources, I'm sure by now she could have bought/paid her way out. But because she doesn't, and besides that she is an HONEST person who would not rely on "buying" her way out even if she could, she continues to be punished by a so-called justice system that meanwhile cannot focus on violent criminals because they are wasting time, energy and resources on a 15 year-old, first-offense, misdemeanor DUI....RELEASE PATTI....RELEASE PATTI....RELEASE PATTI.....RELEASE PATTI.....RELEASE PATTI.....RELEASE PATTI....RELEASE PATTI....
So Paris Supporters...what do ya think? My sister suffers from high blood pressure, the doctor says she is on the road to a heart attack because her blood cells are enlarged, not to mention the emotional and psychological toll this takes on a person and the fact that high stress is a factor in heart attack and stroke. My sister continues to strive to meet further obligations as they are thrown at her...because she is honorable and does not have any financial resources to even hire an attorney to assist her.
Not to mention how all this is affecting our entire family....who, by the way, make enough to survive in this world and also do not have the financial resources to help. Poor folks are just at the mercy of others.....So anyone out there willing to HELP in this instance????

79. I'd say she will stay through the weekend and then be released. That would be very fair though, because she is doing more time then most would in her situation.

80. The news shows are asking whether Paris is being treated fairly, but everyone seems to have forgotten that she never took this seriously and even thumbed her nose at the judge by showing up late for her hearing. The people who get the reduced sentences (roughly 80%), are the ones who take the process, and the judge, seriously.

81. In Referance to #24 by Sign of the times...

1) "crotch showing "- Sorry but ALL those of that age and are celebrities, and many whom are not, are showing their crotch.. In this day and age, all girls learn very early that "sex sells".. Who's fault is that?? Men and the Media!!
2) "the coke snorting"- Have you personally seen her snort coke yourself?? If not, then who are you to say she does do it?
3) "whoring"- Unless you've slept with her yourself or are a close friend of her's, you have no idea if she is a whore or not!
4) "potsmoking"- That should be two words not one... There is nothing wrong with getting high.. If maryjane was legalized, people wouldn't be as violent as they are, drinking would not be the "In" thing to do in this country, thus eliminating all the drunk driving.. When a person is stoned, their mind is more alert and "paraniod" thus less apt to cause harm to anyone..

Children like you were raised to think that one hit off of a joint can kill you, but it's alright to drink... This is a major problem in this country... Look at Hollanc for the stats on all their crimes and you will see that if we legalized "pot", we'd have less crime and less of this "Holier-than-thou" attitude some of you seem to have....

All goes back to the same conclusion- "Reality is for people who can't handle drugs!"

83. Why isn't she in a cell and treated like all other inmates? She got transferred from one prison hospital to another. What's with the 'special' treatment. Let her go nuts in her cell if she so choses. No one else in that state of mind gets a break.

Posted at 2:51AM on Jun 15th 2007 by John

84. She needs to go back to her original cell, all she has to do is cheek her pills then spit them out so who ever gives her her meds better check for that... She and her family are so full of them selves money does not make one have class... just because she was born into money does not make her all that she could have been born to a crack head instead, then she would have been a normal working , giving rich kids more than they needed growing up notw orking for anything young makes them grow up thinking theyare intitled, I have a neice her mom gave her everything she is now a self absorbed witch like ehr mom was, her mom stole 50.5 million bucks went to prison now her darling dtr pretends she is something she is not , now pretends she is something she is not has disowned her mom and all her blood family ( pretends we all died ) her mom she still thinks she is better than any of her blood family. These rich kids they all need a reality check... Some of them realize having rich family is a gift and they do good with what family money they end upw ith. Paris and her family theyare just selfish and self absorbed demanding special treatment in life....

85. I read this on a Toronto, Ontario, Canada news site before TMZ had it posted. Also heard on CNN before this. TMZ wasn't the first.

86. Has anyone stopped and thought about the obvious? Maybe the sheriff isn't trying to give special treament, maybe HE DOESN'T WANT PARIS IN HIS JAIL. Think about all the disruptions she must be causing amongst other imates, the medical claims that are costing the jail a bundle, the potential law suits from a weathly family, not to mention the pap frenzie outside the jail. This dude doesn't want Paris in his jail, and I can't blame him for trying to spring her and get her off his hands. It is plainly clear.

88. Now that we know it was a reation of taking XANAX for so long that she was going through withdrawal symptons. I guess now since she has her own personal Dr. she can get the XANAX. Most people always knew she was detoxing and not having any real medical problems. Xanax is the new Hollywood drug . This still was no excuse for her to be in this special medical unit at the Twin Towers. There are hundreds of people that are drug addicts at jails and they don't get the special treatment . They are stuck in a cell detoxing without any help at all. Maybe now that she is out and back to Lynwood some of those really sick patients can fill up that four bed room she has occupied. Maybe their families can come and visit whenever they want also. I have a feeling she will be out very soon. Poor Paris the simple life is really a bitch sometimes.
